..About the continuation of the Wheel of Time series!

Whoa, Brandon Sanderson is finishing WoT? I love Brandon Sanderson...but I can't see him finishing WoT....

I really think that we should give him the benefit of a doubt.

Its so wonderful to know that the book will be finished- even though I don't know who the author is. :lol:

I thought Harriet was going to finish it....I'm a little disappointed, to be honest. I mean, I'm glad it's going to be finished, but I'm not sure how I feel about a whole different author writing it. I'm sure he'll do a great job, but he'll have a completely different writing style than RJ. That's why I was so glad Harriet was going to do it, cuz she would probably be more able than anyone else to write about like RJ did, being his editor and all that.

yea, I see what you mean Saph, but I read an interview the author had with DragonMount's Jason, and he said that it would be impossible to try to write the book exactly as RJ had because every author is different. this guy is established, and Harriet had the final say in whether or not she would write it or if she would hire someone else. She read his book and made the final call, and I think we should trust her. just because she's his editor doesn't mean that she can write a book you know?

Yeah, and I can see how she might not want to write it. Hard enough losing a husband. Add to that, having a famous husband, and the stress increases. It probably wouldn't be too easy for her to dive into the world he created after all she's been through.
