As some of you may know, Invisionfree has been working for some time on an upgrade for their boards. Recently, they announced the full release of the upgrade: Zetaboards. All current Invisionfree board owners were given the option of converting to Zetaboards, and after some discussion, I have just officially opted into the upgrade. I am not certain of exactly when this will occur, but it will be sometime soon. The new boards offer many new features, and is designed to be user-friendly for guests, members, moderators, and administrators.
The conversion to Zetaboards will not change the board URL. The current URL will work indefinitely, so you don't need to worry about changing a bookmark or favorite setting if you don't want to. All of our current posts, avatars, signatures, smilies, etc. will remain as they are now as well.
The skin will change, but this will not be permanent. Zetaboards will archive our current skin, and convert it to be compatible with Zetaboards, then we will have our skin back.
I am quite excited about the change, and I'm looking forward to having some real interaction with it. :)

Unfortunately, I still have no idea how long it'll be before our boards are converted. The ZB staff isn't very forthcoming with a timeframe, because they don't want people to be upset if they don't meet it. So we wait. *shrug*
