Hey all!

I'm Chris and a die hard fan of the WoT! I remember they had the whole series at my local library, except the Eye of the World. Man I was so mad when I realized it was a full series and the first book was missing. So I went several months waiting for that book to show up and it never came back.
Then I was waiting in line at Wal-Mart and as I passed the book section a purty blue book stood out and called to me, serious no joke really happened.
Haven't put the series down in over four years. I read em, drift off to something else and then get pulled back in.

I have been away from roleplaying for quite awhile but am getting things in order so I can return much more often. I was only a part of the community for a short while but became very fond of some of the people I have met and have lost contact with most.

I nearly lost it when I heard of Robert Jordan's passing and mourn him still like so many others who grew to know him through his work. We are all fortunate to be a small part of that legacy that is 'Randland'

I hope to get to know you all better in the coming months of my participation here!

Been awhile since I actually Rped but I have been working on several short stories and Bios for lots of characters as well as research into the WoT, general really nothing too serious. Looking very forward to Rping here!

Welcome from me as well. That's almost what happened with me, except that the First book was there, as well as the rest of the series. The only problem was the first book was missing the first three chapters.

Lol, Vaeira. I would have been that much more upset if that would have happened to me. The EoTW book I bought soon lost its cover due to Tor's poor binding issues.

I own all but Crossroads, lost it to a dog :angry:

As you read the series though, you learn how to handle Tor's binding. My first few books look horrible, but my others are decent. :) Welcome. I'm a retired, but hopefully returning under a new guise, member.

Ugh. Tor books. I've bought two copies of EotW so far. And I tend to lend my books to my friends who are not as kind to them as I am, so they all look bad. :rolleyes:

I am wanting to get all hardbacks and bind them in tooled leather covers. Just gotta get all the hardbacks!
