Title: Curious Thread IV: Who do you admire?

As before, please feel free to post in our other Curious Threads, I'm interested in learning all the other things about you, along with this week's thread. :D

Also, I may start posting Curious Threads every 2 weeks instead of every week. It'll give people more time to answer, and it'll give me more time to think of a good question. :P

So anyway, what people in your life, or in society, do you admire?

I have always admired my grandmother greatly. Ever since I was little, we've enjoyed spending time together, and she's always been one of my best friends. I can talk to her about anything, and I can trust her completely. She's an absolutely amazing person, and if one day I'm half the woman she is, I'll consider it a great achievement. She's definitely had a far more difficult life than I have, and she's faced a lot of things she didn't deserve, but it's all made her the wonderful person she is. I can't fully describe her, or what she means to me, but she is definitely the person I admire the most.

Every two weeks is probably better if you ask me.

For me. I admire my best friend Corrina. She's 35 years old and has three kids and a husband. She's made her share of mistakes in life, but went back to school to get her degree. Last year she graduated with a double major in Bio-chemistry and biology with teacher certification. Aside from sounding like a stand up citizen, I met her when she joined my sorority.

We hit it off really easily and quickly. I asked her "who the hell are you?" and my other sister said, "she's our new sister dumbass" to which I responded "oh my bad" and she tells me she instantly liked me. She was always there for me, she related to some really fucked up things that I've gone through in life.. Just being around her makes me feel an unmistakable peace that I don't get from anyone else. she's so important to me that I spend 2 to 3 nights a week at her ranch in medina, and I know all of her kids and her husband really well.

Her entire family knows me, and vice versa. I think if she was a man she'd be my lover, but unfortunately for me, I'm not gay and neither is she. :P I admire her more than any famous person in existence. Except maybe jesus, but thats just a given. lol
