KHS electionThe elecion will take place on Oct 11, be there.
Sidivin Yahbree - October 6, 2004 03:47 AM (GMT)
VOTE BUSH!!
I have met the guy, and his parents, in person. My uncle lives two houses down from them and they were walking their dogs together.
If nothing else, he's a really nice, intelligent guy. For all of you who think he is a moron, how many morons do you think graduate Suma Cum Laude from an Ivy league school?
Rialt Erydinan - October 6, 2004 05:17 AM (GMT)
<_< *thinks we're choosing between two dumb shits*
Sunniva Amorine Nerell - October 6, 2004 08:45 AM (GMT)
Laridian Maeronen - October 6, 2004 12:11 PM (GMT)
Yeeeeeeaaah, vote Bush. Because Kerry and Edwards are schmucks. They didn't do much as Senators. And hey, Bush has a better back-up guy if he should, perchance, croak. Did you watch the VP Debates? Cheney was just layin' in to Edwards! "Nope, sorry, your data in innacurate."(And a good deal was.) 'Twas a lot more vicious than the Prez debate. Cheney roxxorz mah soxxorz. Even if he does look kinda like Mikhael Gorbachev.
Idraea - October 7, 2004 04:41 PM (GMT)
*Tosses in her two cents*
GO BUSH :D He actually came through my little town in Wisconsin, and came to the cheese shop where I work! I feel that he's done a fine job as president--I hate to think of how Gore would have dealt with the terrorist situation.
~Idraea
Nanaia Sangre - October 7, 2004 05:44 PM (GMT)
I think anyone would have done bad in that situation...*quietly waves her "Vote Nader" flag*
Sidivin Yahbree - October 7, 2004 07:40 PM (GMT)

He prolly would have apologized to the Terrorists for putting thosw buildings in the way of the planes.
Xaron Rakehart - October 7, 2004 07:47 PM (GMT)
 Oookaaayyy... Whaever
Rialt Erydinan - October 8, 2004 12:17 AM (GMT)
  lmao Sidivin. Well, i think Sid knows i am very much not a Bush fan, especially after the time my brother spent over seas. I think something like that really makes you think differently about the whole prospect of War. Before we declared it, i was a Bush supporter 100% and completely in favor of the war, but now, i have my doubts and I'm not too fond of President Bush. I don't of course, expect to like everything he does or says, but it seems now that the mass majority of what he does annoys me, pisses me off, or seems just so fucking stupid. Not to mention the fact that i think he has continued to alienate the rest of the world, and in this time, we need communication, not space.
*ponders*
Valarian - October 8, 2004 10:04 AM (GMT)
Shit, you guys actually think those elections are funny?
Honestly I think we should keep politics out of this forum, because it depresses people and it sets bad blood. Believe me you don't want to hear my opinion.
Sunniva Amorine Nerell - October 8, 2004 11:33 AM (GMT)
Our current theme in school is Democracy and we've gone and peeked a bit at the last Presidental election in the US. I'm not going to air my opinions as well, except say I am no fan of your President's. I do not know Kerry's stance in anything, actually, so I can't really say who would be the better President.
Nanaia Sangre - October 8, 2004 12:20 PM (GMT)
*waves her Nader flag a little louder* so far, I don't think Bush OR Kerry will do a good job, but eh, I'm not a bush fan for certain reasons...now the Green Party that has a few good ideas...but yes, I think politics should be kept to a less serious-angry attitude in the forum...it's too sad especially since voting in the presidential elections doesn't effect the outcome
Sidivin Yahbree - October 9, 2004 10:09 PM (GMT)
Ok... so you would rather have Nader and hug trees all day?
If any candidate is a moron, Nader is. I dont like Kerry, but that's not because he's stupid. It's because he's a manipulative lying bastard hypocrite.
Xaron Rakehart - October 9, 2004 11:02 PM (GMT)
Shut up :look
Don't mock other peoples opinions like that, I think Nanaia and Valarian said it well enough... politics just cause too much arguing...
Laridian Maeronen - October 9, 2004 11:49 PM (GMT)
Hey, we can handle it. We're all adults.... I think. As long as insults don't ensue... cough sidivin. heh, j/k. Mrr. Yeah, my Dad's probably gonna vote Bush.. he's libertarian though. Those guys are pretty cool. "SCREW government! We don't need you guys messing with our stuff! Bugger off!" This one guy in California who was Libertarian ran repeatedly for several offices, and every time his platform was that he'd remove the need for that office. And he did it. Yay, smaller government! *waves flag of Libertarian-ness*
Sidivin Yahbree - October 10, 2004 02:51 AM (GMT)
 I'm just bein stupid
Anyways, most of us cant really vote anyways, so who the hell cares? Let's all just go and RP!! :D
Rialt Erydinan - October 10, 2004 04:20 AM (GMT)
heh, well actually, polotics insight anger and such because people get inflammed if others dont agree with them. Imagine what the world would be like if everyone were the same? What a horrid place. But anyway, like Kat said, er- i mean Laridian, we should take all talk of polotics with a grain of salt. I hate censorship so i will not censor what is said here.
If you feel that the polotics bother you, you have the option of not reading this thread. Now, how bout that generic sports team? :look
But anyway, I'm going to register as an Independent. Now that i've been watching the debates, I'm starting to make up my mind more and more on the subject. I personally think that everytime Bush gets up there, he makes an ass of himself by saying the same crap, "We need to spread freedom. Its HARD work." Thankyou Captain obvious. And Kerry, "I have a plan." Why thankyou Mr. Kerry, why don't you tell us about that plan instead of referring us to your website? Overall, I would not like to have Bush in office again, but that does not necessarily mean i am a Kerry supporter. They both have good points, though I don't think Bush is doing this country any good with his foreign affairs policy.
Sidivin Yahbree - October 11, 2004 03:07 AM (GMT)
Personally, I think we should keep all politics and religeon out of Fusion. It only breeds problems and ill will, and we are all here to have fun
Rialt, wether or not I read the thread, others are still going to. There is still bad blood formed, and I want everybody to just have fun. It's not censorship, it's just that it has nothing to do with anything we are doing here, and no good can come of it. Why bring politics into this at all?
By the by, why the heck is the ad at the top suddenly a political thingy? It keeps on randomly showing up as a political add...
Rialt Erydinan - October 11, 2004 04:34 AM (GMT)
  Its there just to piss you off! well, we already discussed this in PM, so ANYWAY. lol
Sunday newspaper says
Kerry 46%
Bush 45%
If ever one or two votes count, it is now!
Nanaia Sangre - October 11, 2004 09:30 AM (GMT)
ha *agrees with the others* yes take politics with a grain of salt and life will be much more fun...
*plants subconcious sumbliminal voice messages in Sidivin's study...vooote Naaaaderrr...Vooote Naaaderrr...*

Mika Soljourn - October 11, 2004 01:58 PM (GMT)

Sidivin Yahbree - October 11, 2004 03:03 PM (GMT)
Hm... If we were in the Star Wars universe, would channelers be Jedi? <_<
Xaron Rakehart - October 11, 2004 03:10 PM (GMT)
No way... we gaidins were jedi :thump:
Sidivin Yahbree - October 11, 2004 03:26 PM (GMT)
Dude, Jedi use the Force by chanelling it. Their skill with lightsabers is secondary, so we win. You can be the Mandalorians!! ^^
Xaron Rakehart - October 11, 2004 03:42 PM (GMT)
But there are no Sith in Jedi, and there is black ajah with channelers :thump:
*grumbles* I don't wanna be a mandalorian
Sidivin Yahbree - October 11, 2004 04:10 PM (GMT)
No sith in Jedi? Dude, have you ever read the books?
Xaron Rakehart - October 11, 2004 04:14 PM (GMT)
Laridian Maeronen - October 11, 2004 04:53 PM (GMT)
*listens quietly to Star Wars talk*
........Colin Powell for Prez! Get a BROTHA in the white House head. :)
Dude, I think he would kick BUTT in the polls if he would just RUN. I heard the only reason he doesn't is something about worrying over his wife's health... but wouldn't that be great? wheee, Colin Powell!
Mika Soljourn - October 11, 2004 04:58 PM (GMT)
and that guy makes me think of batteries...
sorry but the name 'powell' just makes me think of the duracell bunny, hopping in a race :look
Sidivin Yahbree - October 11, 2004 05:04 PM (GMT)
Vote Rand for President!!!
Kiren Thym - October 11, 2004 05:23 PM (GMT)
NO!!!!!
Vote Perrin!!!!
Go wolfkin!!!!!
Sidivin Yahbree - October 11, 2004 05:29 PM (GMT)
Actually, voting for Perrin would be like voting for Faile, since she has him wrapped...
Xaron Rakehart - October 11, 2004 05:34 PM (GMT)
Alucard Dalith - October 11, 2004 06:04 PM (GMT)
I don't believe two of you said vote bush cos you know him and because he walks down your road...
Also what does being clever have to do with being a good president? Nobody is saying he is a moron, he just makes mistakes a president should not make. I mean he called the greeks, the grecians. WTF is with that? Was Reagan a genius? No.
Erm, and the fact that he took you into a war with a country just because it was "evil" is just plain stupid. If he was looking for evil, he could have found wayyyy more evil places. The guy is a fool, and will do nothing but do more damage to the country. And don't tell me I dont know what I am talking about, I am an american citizen
VOTE THE EMPEROR!
Kiren Thym - October 11, 2004 06:16 PM (GMT)
*Faile indeed is cool*
but you have to agree that Mishael and I at least should vote for Perrin...
as well as you Rialt, and I suppose that means you too Nanaia
*continues trying to highjack the threat in order to end this stupid, utterly boring crap about real elections. * <_<
