Title: Out walking (From Tower Grounds)
Fianna - October 6, 2004 03:42 AM (GMT)
OOC: I hope this makes sense i'm writing it when i'm tired LOL
Fianna was out on the tower grounds. She had a few hours spare time and wanted to be outside. She had missed seeing the outdoors she had been coped up in the tower for to long. She wondered if all the Novices were stuck in there all the time. She sat with her back to the tower wall and sighed. She missed home she missed her sisters of the spear, she even missed the heat of the day and the cold of the night. She wondered if the others missed there homes. She wondered what her brother was doing he had been trying to become a Stone dog when last she had heard. She knew he had the potential for a clan leader but she was not sure if the others would see that. Her hand went to her side and she realized she wanted her knife. There was no way she would go to the training grounds again as if she was sent to the Mistress again the Mistress would be more then unhappy and Fianna was sure her punishment would last for until she was Aes Sedai maybe longer. that made her smile and rub her back where she was feeling the labor she had been doing over the last few days. She got back up and decided to walk around the grounds more she had not yet explored everywhere maybe she would meet someone interesting.
Elysia - October 14, 2004 03:06 AM (GMT)
Elysia sat under a tree with a book in her lap. She had finally managed to borrow a book from the library and now, finally after all this time in the tower, she had managed to avoid Aes Sedai long enough to get out here to do some reading. She just didn't hope any Aes Sedai felt like taking a walk today. Not yet anyhow.
For a second she just sat there admiring the book. An old, leatherbound book with many pages. More pages than any book Elysia had ever read in her life. It was about politics in Andor, the very country she came from. She had never been interested in politics before but... Well... It could not hurt to learn more. The book smelled of dust and old books. Not that odd really, the book were certainly old and if had not been old it was in the same room as many, many old books.
She opened the book, smiled to herself and started to read with a pleased sigh.
Fianna - October 15, 2004 02:05 AM (GMT)
Fianna walked around until she saw another Novice reading a book. She went and said "Hello." the girl looked up and nodded to her Fianna was surprised the girl didn't run away as many of the other girls had. She sat across from her and asked "What book do you read?" Fianna didn't really like reading, her people simply didn't have books so she was out of practice. She was sure the girl would find out she was Aiel and run as the others had but she was used to being alone in the tower. She had already beentold she was without honor once she would not let it happen again. She would be nice to everyone and pass her tests and go on to be the best Aes Sedai and the only Aiel one. She would go home and teach her fellow sisters new things. Maybe she would learn how to heal with a touch. That was her main goal. She gave another smile to the other girl and said "I'm sorry if you spoke I did not hear you I have been thinking about things. Please speak again."
Elysia - October 15, 2004 09:47 AM (GMT)
While reading the first page Elysia heard footsteps approaching and she looked up and nodded to the girl who approached her with a smile of relief. She was not Aes Sedai, What a relief!
"Hello. What book do you read?"
Elysia studied the girl with curious eyes. She was different somehow... Very much taller than the other girls and she seemed... strong. Very strong for being a girl. And that hair of hers... red as fire. She blinked when the girl spoke, realizing she had been staring at her.
"I'm sorry if you spoke I did not hear you I have been thinking about things. Please speak again."
Elysia smiled towards the girl again and slosed the book.
"I am reading about Andor, how it is ruled and the politics between the nobles. It is rather dull, actually but I tought I should know something about my country." Elysia giggled a little and tilted her head.
"My name is Elysia, I am rather new to the tower. Please come sit in the shadow, if you wish..." She smiled towards the other girl again and moved a little to one of the sides, making space in the shadow beneath tall tree.
[OOC]
Just for telling you, not that any harm is done, I don't think you are supposed to write any actions the other char is doing... That might lead to unwished endings... It was quite okey this time, but please keep it in mind, will you?

Fianna - October 20, 2004 12:54 AM (GMT)
Fianna shook her head. "No thank you the sun is fine." Fianna wondered why the wetlanders refused to sit in the sun most times. She smiled at the Novice and said "You are not afraid I will cook you for dinner how interesting." Most of the other Novices ran when she came into view and some told her things about her people that horrified her. However, sometimes, like now, she found she liked using what they said against other people. "You know one should not be afraid of something she doesn't know much about one should be interested to learn more." She was musing to herself now and realized it and laughed. "I'm sorry always ready to think on things I should be a Brown." She laughed again and shook her head "No that would never do. I would want to kill someone in a week." Fianna wondered where this city of Andor was she had as yet never heard of it. "What can you tell me of your country?" Fianna asked interested
Alisha Kovenant - October 21, 2004 05:32 AM (GMT)
Alisha had been busy all day dealing with various matter within her halls, pretty much she had ended up over seeing some negotiations with the sea-folk, and as the Sea-Folk has the tendancy to be quite demanding during negotiations, Alisha was happy to get out and decided to go for a walk across the Tower grounds. She had decided for relaxation she wouldn't really wear a shawl, or any other trapping of her position, as it was hardly neccesary. As she was waking by humming to herself and looking around, she spotted two novices talking off in the distance and decided to see what they were up to...
""I'm sorry always ready to think on things I should be a Brown." Alisha paused and listened "No that would never do. I would want to kill someone in a week." and blinked as she heard the next sentance "What can you tell me of your country?" the novice asked, not seeing Alisha approach silently.
"Greetings." Alisha said plainly to the novices as they saw her and she smiled, she had never been much for calling people daughter and all the other silly names people came up with , but for some reason these novices who were sitting around had caught her interest, naturally if she felt like it she could assume some sort of mask of serenity, but at the moment it seemed rather silly to do an such things. "Having fun are we?"
Elysia - October 21, 2004 12:49 PM (GMT)
With a smile Elysia nodded toward the other novice. If she did not wish to sit in the shadow, so be it... Not that big of a deal, really. Elysia closed her book and listened to what the Other novice said and frowned a little.
"You are not afraid I will cook you for dinner how interesting. You know one should not be afraid of something she doesn't know much about one should be interested to learn more. I'm sorry always ready to think on things I should be a Brown. No that would never do. I would want to kill someone in a week." the other novice said and lauged
Elysia pondered about this silently to herself. Why would she run from the other novice? Se she seemed nice enough. And cook her for dinner? What a silly idea! Who would ever think that of someone? Perhaps if they happened to be a Trollock but... now? Naaah...
"What can you tell me of your country?" the other novice said and Elysia tought to herself for just a second before she was going to tell the other novice about Andor as something else caught Elysia's attention. A woman that had approached them and by one look at her face, Elysia saw it was an Aes Sedai.
"Greetings. Having fun are we?" The Aes Sedai said and Elysia jumped to her feets, curtsying respectfully and thinking of what to say.
"Greetings, Aes Sedai. I was just about to tell.. the other novice here a little about Andor." She said and showed the Aes Sedai the big book in her hands. She suddenly realized she didn't know the novices name... How rude of her not to introduce herself. Well, it did not matter much anyway.
Alisha Kovenant - October 21, 2004 03:34 PM (GMT)
Alisha watched the novice novice jump and curtsy and listened to her response "Well, first, as you stay here for longer you will realise that, there is a time and place for everything, and different situations recquire varying degree's of response, cause and reaction. For example, some sisters recquire people to show respect and bow to them everywhere, to a oint, that you wonder if they even go to the latrine without seeing someone curtsy first. owever, I'm not one of them, so you can relax child, in fact.." Alisha reached into a pocket and held out something "Have a candy." she said smiling as the novice took the candy. "So, what were you saying about Andor?" Alisha asked curiously raising an eye brow. She had her eyes and ears everywhere and usually heard about things pretty soon after they happened, but it was always good to hear other peoples views about events, history, and so forth about countries, it was a good way to get a feel for the trends of a nation, which came very handy in negotiations.
