Shaya once again made her way down to the mistress of Novices office and thought that she had been here more often in the last couple of weeks than all the previous months together.
She scowled as she lined up with the other Accepted and Novices present, for she did not think she had deserved this one.
But then she knew better than to argue with any Aes Sedai. If they said you were meant to know then you were meant to know.
She had made a mental note anyway to make sure she was aware of all new announcements as they were put up, she certainly would not get in trouble for that one again. She could imagine not being the only send down for this one and Cayana would probably be in a foul mood because of the extra workload.
Shaya was not really bothered about the punishment, at the end of the day it did not matter as long as it did not keep her from her studies.

She hoped her mentor would come back soon to pick up their training. She thought Lyla would be quite pleased with the progress she had made on her own so far. She was getting quite good at the rose-bud- thingie even though Saidar still eluded her grasp most of the time.
Shaya opened a book she had taken down, for she had anticipated it would take a long time standing in line just so she could receive her punishment. A few of the novices gave her an odd glance of smirked behind their hands for they were glad to be away from their studies. Shaya ignored them, they would stop laughing when Shaya out-channeled them soon enough. The though made her smile a little, before she concentrated on the lines before here again.
