History:
Edeleas al'Kuar, more commonly known as Edeleas, was born in the House Kuar of Cairhienin nobility. Being a noble, Edeleas is greatly familiar and adept with The Game of Houses. He came from a family of ten, consisting of his father, step-mother and seven sisters. He is the youngest, and being the only male child, he was considered as the next High Seat of his House.
Edeleas is usually a cheery and talented person, and a cheery kind of noble at that. As a child he was sent to Caemlyn and Kandor to study music, which he enjoyed greatly. However, somehow he knew that his talents lie elsewhere, and he quit studying music and returned to Cairhien although he could play the harp and flute quite very well.
He is also very bookish, liking to read in his father's library when he didn't feel like going outside. He especially loved the Travels of Jain Farstrider, and other countless tales about Aes Sedai in the Age of Legends. His stepmother, Theridia, acknowledge this like of books, and therefore brought him some more whenever she traveled to other nations.
As a young man Edeleas loved mingling with the merry people of the New Foregate, preferring the raucous and merry ambience of the city than Cairhien. His father, disgusted that the son of a noble spent most of his time with peasants, often scolded him about his adventures', but Edeleas did not care. For a noble he had a fair sense of justice. He also avoids women, because he somewhat despises commitment and prefers to be a swinging single. But his face is quite well-known among the girls, whether he liked it or not.
Upon reading of the cleansing of saidin by Rand al'Thor, the Dragon Reborn, Edeleas began to be fascinated with male channelers, and the story of three thousand years ago, of how saidin was tainted by the Dark One. Because of this, he spent more and more of his time along the New Foregate, where he would spend his time listening to tales and buy books about the subject. .
Again, this action got him in hotter waters with his father, and this time with his step-mother to join in the scolding and shouting. Frustrated and insulted, he left his family's manor and returned to the New Foregate, going inside an inn and spent his time listening to the music and drinking some milk. He attracted the attention of four robbers, who cornered him outside and demanded his money.
Edeleas tried in vain to fend them off without fighting, but the robbers got messy. When the situation got tilted dangerously away from his side, he unknowingly caught hold of saidin and caused a tremendous earthquake. Strangely, the earthquake was only felt in that part of the New Foregate, and Cairhien would not have known if the peasants had kept their mouths shut. A quarter of the New Foregate got destroyed, and the four robbers were killed along with hundreds of civilians.
Horrified and panic-stricken, Edeleas fled Cairhien on the spot.
He wandered around the country for days, foraging on whatever he could find along the road. By the time he reached the foothills of Kinslayer's Dagger he was ready to give up and die, until a mysterious black-clad man named 'Ezrael' appeared out of nowhere and helped him with food, drink, coin and clothes. He asked where his helper came from, but 'Ezrael' only replied:
The Black Tower helps every man who has the glory of saidin with him. The M'hael will wait for you to welcome you home.
And 'Ezrael' vanished. Heartened by this sign of welcome, Edeleas journeyed on until he found a caravan heading for Tar Valon. Hoping he could be safe in the Black Tower, he joined the caravan and for some time, journeyed in peace.
However, when his caravan neared Tar Valon, a group of bandits attacked and took him prisoner along with hundreds of other passengers. The bandits took Edeleas and the other prisoners to their hideout somewhere near the foothills of the Spine Of The World. For a week or so, Edeleas was a prisoner of the bandits. And 'Ezrael' appeared out of nowhere again and helped him escape by using a gateway. Edeleas stepped through and found himself among the hills not far from Fal Moran, in Shienar.
After recuperating in Fal Moran, Edeleas ventured into Arafel where he discovered his second Talent, Delving. He came across some of the King's guards inspecting some hills near the Arafel border, and here he heard that they were not sure where to start the new mine. Not really wanting to poke in his nose in others' business, Edeleas politely approached the commander and told them to dig in the Shorfan hills. That was all and he journeyed into the capital.
Three months later and Edeleas was summoned by the King of Arafel. Upon being told that he 'supposedly' found a treasure trove for the king, and asked whatever reward he desired, Edeleas answered that all he wanted right now was to find the Black Tower.
Fortunately, the King of Arafel was ready to help the young man who found new wealth for his country. He wrote a letter addressed to the M'Hael of the Black Tower and told them that one of their number was safely under his wings.
After a week, four Asha'man came to take Edeleas to the Black Tower in Tar Valon. 'Ezrael' was not with them, and when Edeleas asked where his savior was, the Asha'man replied that they had no one by the name of 'Ezrael' in the Black Tower.
But the question about 'Ezrael' was quickly wiped from Edeleas' mind when he arrived in the Black Tower and began his training to become Asha'man.
Within the Black Tower in Tar Valon, Edeleas discovered his natural born talent in Delving(2) and Earth Singing, which made him quite 'a center of attraction' in the towers. Although he did have hard experiences in the early phases of his training as a Soldier (he could not quite control saidin well), he persevered and tried to stay his weakness.
Edeleas's rise in the Black Tower was meteoric, nonetheless. He rediscovered his heart for reading, spending hours upon hours in the Library usually in the dead of the night, reading voraciously on the books that told him further about his Talents. This hobby of his often got him in trouble not only with his mentor, Mahdi al'Tain Rialt Erydinan, but also with the Master of Soldiers. Oftentimes when caught, Edeleas would suffer a harsh word or two, sometimes coupled with a whack from a flow of Air. But this was not his first stop into minor rule-breaking.
As he slowly learned to master the male half of the True Source, Edeleas began 'illegal' experiments while in the quiet safety of the Soldiers and Dedicated Barracks. He often channeled in the dead of the night, just little whiskers of the One Power, trying out weave after weave, picking his pace slowly.
After the accident with his eyes and his raising to Dedicated, the cheery Edeleas had suddenly disappeared. In his place now was still a smiling man of the same name, but with a definite coldness into him that was often reflected by his intense green eyes.
Edeleas worked hard in the level of Dedicated, this time being taught by two mentors, Asha'man Rialt and Asha'man Tishoan. He honed his talents of being Delver and Earth Singer, now able to control earthquakes and extract fists of ores from the ground. He also unlocked a third Talent, Elementalism, now enabling him to use Earth Spikes in combat. After just five years of being Dedicated, Edeleas immediately rose in rank in the Black Tower, and his mentors deemed him ready to perform the test of the Hundred Weaves.
Tower life for Edeleas was not uneventful. As Dedicated he met many new friends, most of them women, but he had fallen in love with one of them, Mika Soljourn, who got raised to Accepted a few years after him. The couple took their affairs in private, often not showing any signs of their relationship in the general public. But a few people knew of their affair, but that only involved the closest friends and mentors.
Edeleas succesfully passed the Hundred Weaves, and after telling Mika that he had to go out and seek 'Ezrael', she agreed and helped him do it. The night after Edeleas took the Oaths of Asha'man, he sneaked out of Tar Valon, and was already leagues away when the other Asha'man discovered what he had done. Once he covered a reasonable distance from the city, Edeleas wove a gateway and stepped through, finding himself in Aringill, in Andor. Weaving his invention on Illusion, Edeleas changed his hair and eye color to avoid being noticed.
At the same time, in an inn, The Blue Rose, Edeleas met the person he was looking for, Ezrael, by some strange twist of fate. He was overjoyed at seeing his savior, but that was to change as Ezrael hit him with Compulsion, and Edeleas found himself outside the city of Aringill. There he discovered that Ezrael was not the good person he pretended to be, and Edeleas tried to flee, but he was critically wounded by the man he had trusted, and he knew no more.
Darkness greeted him when he awoke, darkness brought by being surrounded by thirteen Fades and thirteen Dreadlords, all bent to turn him into the Shadow. Edeleas tried to fight, but his strength simply wasn't enough, and the Dark One succesfully Touched his soul, thus making him a Dreadlord. The rest seemed like living through days of nightmare. Even though he was bound to the Dark One, Edeleas refused to obey, but the Dreadlords had efficient means of breaking down people. They put him through all sorts of torture, until, finally, after a whole year of convincing, he acquiesced to his Fate.
Afterwards, Edeleas started his steady rise in rank in the Shadow. He was deployed in the Sharan Blightborder to help stir up chaos there and get rid of the pestilence, and he worked with another Dreadlord, an Ayyad named Melise. Often they would link and murder the Sharan army by the thousands, using fire, earth, lightning and a horde of Shadowspawn. After establishing himself as one of the most ruthless Dreadlords, Edeleas killed Rakim Pengar (Ezrael) by use of slow death by the One Power.
Next the Great Lord of the Dark summoned him to Shayol Ghul, and there relayed his new tasks. After six years of absence, Edeleas rode a horse back to Tar Valon, a complete stranger, not a trace of what he once was remained. He had become silent, cold, dark and ruthless. But he was here to do a task for the Great Lord, nothing more. The boy who had once trained in the Black Tower died six years ago, and the one who came back bearing his appearance was an entirely different person.
Edeleas' return came as a shock to the Asha'man of the Black Tower because nearly everyone had given him up for dead. His closest friends, the Mahdi al'Tain along with them, noticed that a dark change had occurred over the man. But Edeleas had strongly resisted all efforts to find out what happened to him by holding on firmly to his excuse that he had simply left the Towers because he had become tired of being cooped up for too long and had had to see the world. Although his was a bad reputation, M'Hael Zekieal al'Kith recognized his Talents and genius, and thus proceeded to appoint him as Master of Soldiers, the youngest one to hold the position for one hundred years.
Try hard as he may, his friends were persistent. Marian Skylas of the Gray Ajah was the first to fathom out what he had become, but by a solem oath on their friendship, she allowed him to place a Dark Weave of Mental Sealing upon her so she could never reveal his secret unless she wanted to kill herself. However, Edeleas' friendship with Rialt looked like it was beyond repair forever. Another person to find out his secret was the Gaidar Myara Anhri, and to keep her silence, Edeleas bonded her on the way to Shienar. However their relationship as bonder and bondmate seem to be on the bright side.
Currently Edeleas is the culprit of many dark things that had happened to Tar Valon. The murder of Rei Sidivin Yahbree and the Shadow raid upon the Feast of the Dragon are just to name two.
It was unknown why Edeleas al’Kuar stepped down from his post as Master of Soldiers, but when he did, many of the Dedicated and younger Asha’man were surprised, because strict though he may be, he was still an efficient teacher and there was no doubt that he had taught many things to the younger ones. Speculations and theories floated, and the most widely accepted reason for Edeleas’ sudden resignation was attributed to his less-than-pleasant relations with the new M’Hael, Rialt, his old teacher. Some of the Red Shen even attributed more to Edeleas’ stepping down – the unsolved attacks and deaths and disappearances of several powerful Asha’man like Sidivin Yahbree and the old M’Hael, Zekieal.
It was known however, that Edeleas spent three silent years in the Black Tower, doing an extensive research regarding Bonding and Healing, and the theories that go with the two. It was an effort that many of the Death Dancers sneered at. And then Edeleas asked for leave from the Tower, in a formal and recorded letter addressed to the M’Hael. His reasons were plainly stated: for his research. Strangely, though, he left behind his Warder, Gaidar Myara Anhri.
But the M’Hael knew otherwise as to why this blonde prodigy stepped down. Edeleas, having confessed what had indeed happen to him so many years ago, exposed the truth that he was made into a Darkfriend against his will. The M’Hael, showing indescribable sympathy and mercy for his former protégé, kept the secret well under wraps. Edeleas struggled to solve his problems by himself, and thus his efforts culminated into another departure from the Tower.
Upon leaving Tar Valon Edeleas ventured wide into the obscured lands of Shara and Seanchan in the quest for the answers to many of his research questions. Most of the time he was in Seanchan, assigned there by the Chosen so as to move the Great Lord’s will in that land. It was no different from Shara. Kill or be killed, kill when he must. Relentlessly Edeleas pursued the ancient texts, or whatever he could have, to try solve his predicament.
Somewhere in the tenth year of his distance from Tar Valon, the Great Lord performed a stroke of movement Edeleas had not foreseen. The Great Lord had gotten rid of the more useless Chosen and was preparing to name new ones, a move not done for so many years. Gathering the most loyal and powerful Dreadlords in Shayol Ghul, the Great Lord named three new Chosen.
Alas, Edeleas was one of them, given the name of Chosen Vadin.
The Wheel could not have spun a more horrid design than this. Edeleas’ new position gave him higher authority over the Great Lord’s legions than ever before, but it also made him vulnerable. He was assigned the duty of working in the shadows, keeping an eye on the remaining Chosen and the two newly-named ones. The Great Lord gave him a peculiar order to stay within the boundaries of the Blight and do his service from there.
Edeleas obeyed in silence, and the years rolled by as the Wheel dictated it. Ten years passed.
Now, twenty years later since his departure, Edeleas has once more ridden back to Tar Valon as an ordinary Dieb Cha Asha’man. Only the Light knows what his new orders are, and if he will survive the next waking day, or the next…

I've edited my history. Please see if it's okay now. Thanks! :)

Your bio is good, but we need to correct a few things. This RP takes place 200 years after the Dragon Reborn dissapears, so it isn't possible for you to conceievably write to him and get a response. The Black Tower is IN Tar Valon and is allied with the White Tower (hence Fusion of the Towers). The Amyrlin Seat is a nice lady and would not imprison you, let alone know about your imprisonment unless you did something VERY major.
THe part about the king and the mine, thats cool. I like that. Make sure that you read
this.
If you need any help with the history of our world, please feel free to pm us. Your such a talented writer!

Good bio *nodnod* Just to let you know, (I don't know if you do know this already) something I have noticed may have been missed out in places around the boards and the homepage that everyone should know: Both Asha'man and Aes Sedai swear the first oath (the one about the not speaking anything that isn't true) and no other oaths are sworn (on the oathrod that is).
Great work, I'm looking forward to seeing you RP ^^
