Title: Just wondering
Alilisa Kardef - January 24, 2005 03:46 PM (GMT)
Um, since I'm joining the Red it says I need a partner to be raised, so we can be raised together. The only problem is I don't have a partner, and am almost finished with my training. So is it okay that I don't have a partner, or could someone help me find one? I am very confused right now.

I suppose 2 girls together won't work either....
*has the same problem since my original partner left (and died IC) *

According to mother (though she'll probably be here soon to answer as well) you do not need a partner in order to be raised to Accepted of the Red Shen, but in order to be raised as Aes Sedai of the Red, you will need one. If you can't find one by then, you will probably have to switch to an Ajah And I highly doubt two women would work, since it is supposed to show the towers united together with one Asha'manand one Aes Sedai.
But yes, I feel for you... all the Red guys disappeared

Nanaia is right, as Accepted you may be included in an Ajah, but it is not necissary until you are raised to Aes Sedai, you can be raised to Accepted without having a partner already. (Considering Novices aren't supposed to be around males it makes more sense).
The whole idea of the Red Shen is to unite (sp?) the Towers, It is difficult, but you will have to be kicking the soldiers and dedicated to find an active partner, it's much like finding someone to bond with as Aes Sedai of any other Ajah. I'm sorry girls :/

Yes, what they said. You have until your raising to Aes Sedai to find your partner, and, of course, you can take as long as you need to be raised to Aes Sedai, if you really want to be Red. You could recruit someone for your soldier, or talk someone into creating a second character. :)
