Title: How Does One Get Raised?
Description: just wondering.
Edeleas al'Kuar - January 29, 2005 07:07 AM (GMT)
Erm, yeah. Because I have no idea how the whole process goes. Is it an RP? or a screening only admins do?
Thanks to whoever will answer!

You've seen the raising requirements, I assume. :) Here, both soldiers and novices go through the Arches to be raised to second tier, and Accepted and Dedicated go through the test that Moiraine did in New Spring. If anyone has not read New Spring, drop me a PM, or post here. :) I'm going to get the ceremony up, and an explanation, hopefully soon. :)

Thank you, Mother! Hopefully I can finish my training...I've already found a partner... :)

I've never read new spring.......... So I might be a novice forever.

My dear, you can be raised just fine without having read all the books.
Kathera Galwyn - January 31, 2005 05:17 AM (GMT)
the hardest part for the raising is getting recimendations... *glowers* so diffucult. I haven't even gotten one. sort of predictable, though. I need to make longer posts.

To get recommendations isn't that hard once your character and you actually are ready. ;)

oh that is wonderful to hear! Thanks so much!
Sapphira Calren - January 31, 2005 08:29 PM (GMT)
Kathera, you're more than welcome to ask for recomendations. ;) That's generally easiest, so that you know what you've got, and where they're from. :) As soon as you're ready to be raised, don't be afraid to PM any of the Aes Sedai to ask for one. :)
EDIT: I posted the ceremonies and a bit of an explanation for the Aes Sedai/Asha'man tests. Read it, understand it, reply to it. ;)

I'm back with another set of inquiries. Can anyone help me with the raising requirement for Asha'man? Thanks!
Nevira Lomere - April 2, 2005 07:59 AM (GMT)
What kind of help do you need? :)
Edeleas al'Kuar - April 2, 2005 09:22 AM (GMT)
Ehm...I need a list of the official reqs so I can compare my checklist with it.

*points up* Since you missed it:
Unless they have changed as well but that you would be able to check in announcments and/or the halls of the Black Tower. :)

You can get raised quick too, you know... ;)

I have not read New Spring yet, Mother
Sapphira Calren - December 27, 2005 03:56 AM (GMT)
In the Mistress of Novice's Office, there is a sticky that tells you the ceremony for an Accepted being raised to Aes Sedai. When you're called to the test, you'll be able to see what other people have written, and get an idea for what you need to do. :)
