Title: Bringing a Possibly Dangerous Novice
Description: Attn: Cayana, Naishee (MoN's office)
Sapphira Calren - April 11, 2005 10:07 PM (GMT)
((OOC: Continued from
Exploring))
Sapphira led the way through the Tower, forcing herself to remain calm. She was acutely aware of the presence of the novice behind her, and hoped the girl did not realize what Sapphria had done. The girl doubtless thought that she was on her way to be put out of the Tower, and Sapphira had to make sure she did not realize the truth. Sapphira took a calming breath, and turned down the hall that would lead her to Cayana's office. Hopefully the girl would not realize where she was going, or if she did, she would think it had to do with her leaving the Tower. Sapphira was still trying to get over the girl's actions, the novice had tried to use
Compulsion on
her! Sapphira wondered whether the girl knew what she had done. Some Wilders knew forms of Compulsion upon their arrivals, it was up to the Aes Sedai to stamp out the use of it. This girl's form was much more complex than most, but Sapphira knew that it was not impossible to know. She did not stop at the door to Cayana's office, she did not want to give the novice the opportunity to stop and think. She opened the door and stepped in, seeing Cayana sitting at her desk. Sapphira turned around to watch Naishee enter the room, and as soon as she was in, embraced the Source. She used a thread of Air to shut the door, and quickly shielded the novice again.
This time Sapphira did not let her guard down, the novice had broken her shield earlier because she had not payed enough attention. Sapphira could not believe that she had done so, but she would not make the same mistake again, the novice had taught her a lesson she had long known, but forgotten. She watched the girl carefully, but spoke to Cayana. "Daughter," she said calmly, "this girl has requested that she be brought to you. I found her channeling without permission in the grounds, and she did not stop when I told her to. I asked her a question, which she has yet to answer, and she broke the shield I held on her. This child tried to use Compulsion on me." Sapphira did not feel any embarassment at admitting that a novice had broken her sheild, it was a stupid mistake, but one that she could get over. She was the Amyrlin, Cayana would not say anything about it other than while deciding upon a punishment for the novice. She stood where she was, waiting to see what Cayana would do with this girl, she was interested in seeing how the Green would deal with such an offense. There was no way that Cayana could see what the girl had done as anything but serious, and since it involved personal slight to Sapphira, she sincerely hoped that Cayana punished the girl quite severely. She had to admit, she was not above feeling more angry than if it had happened to someone else. No matter who this had involved, it would have been bad, but Sapphira could not help feeling more angry because it was her.

(( Cayana Sedai, I'll wait for you to post before I do. Unless I need to right away? ))
Cayana Alhi - April 12, 2005 05:33 AM (GMT)
The morning had been busy, but after talking to Radgar Cayana had been in a better mood then before. She was sitting going through reports and letter when the door suddenly opened. At first she didn't look up, then she felt Saidar being embraced strongly and she quickly lifted her eyes, hearing the door slam shut. In front of her, blocking a novice stood Mother. She might be Aes Sedai, but even that cold seemed to cold. She was angry. Without any nonsense Sapphira spoke, in a calm voice. "Daughter, this girl has requested that she be brought to you. I found her channeling without permission in the grounds, and she did not stop when I told her to. I asked her a question, which she has yet to answer, and she broke the shield I held on her. This child tried to use Compulsion on me." For a moment Cayana had to go though what Sapphira had just said, then she felt surprise and despise inside of her welling up. That Mothers block had been broken, didn't surprise or anger her as much as the rest. All her thoughts for the past days returning but this time directed at this novice. How dare she! "Is she aware of what compulsion is and that the weave is outlawed?" Cayana said after standing up, her composure serene but with a slight cold to her.
She walked around the table, not even looking at the girl. You didn't use compulsion, wether you knew it or not. You didn't use compulsion, you didn't use balefire or any of those weaves. Ever! The use was outlawed for a reason and normally the hall would be dealing with matters like these. But it wasn't the first time a novice had done something illegal, and at this stage it was something that the Mistress of Novices was supposed to beat out of them. She stopped on top of the half stair for a moment before stepping down onto the floor in front of Sapphira and the novice.
Naishee Telisia - April 13, 2005 05:02 AM (GMT)
Naishee, still consumed in her own thoughts, followed the Amyrlin Seat without even noticing walking through a door. It was not untill it was slammed that she looked up and saw the Mistress of Novices. Stunned, she stood there gaping. It didn't work! She said in her mind, outraged. She made no attempt to hide the anger that clearly replaced shock in her expression, but still stood as if nothing had gone wrong. "Daughter," The Amyrlin said calmly, "this girl has requested that she be brought to you. I found her channeling without permission in the grounds, and she did not stop when I told her to. I asked her a question, which she has yet to answer, and she broke the shield I held on her. This child tried to use Compulsion on me." Naishee barely kept from snorting. I did not ask. She had no right to put up the barrier! Then she felt the Amyrlin channeling, and her head whipped over, recognizing the weaves. She tried to slice it, but another barrier was slammed firmly between her and the One Power. Her posture remained the same, but if anything her face became pure outrage. How dare she! How DARE she! She screamed in her mind.
She realized the Mistress of Novices had gotten up and crossed the room, stepping infront of her and the Amyrlin Seat. "Is she aware of what compulsion is and that the weave is outlawed," the woman said coldly, clearly hiding anger, but Naishee saw it. Sighing, she shook her head as if thinking it was hopeless and tried to control her anger. She had just enough calm left in her to keep from slapping each of them silly. Without being able to help it, she gently felt at the shield, though it was not enough for the Aes Sedai holding it to feel. She found a soft spot and tried to gently penetrate the shield from there, but was returned back towards the start. Naishee tried this a few more times, then realized it was hopeless, so instead she prodded around the shield more, trying to find some way around it.
Sapphira Calren - April 17, 2005 06:51 PM (GMT)
Sapphira watched Cayana, and looked the novice over as she spoke, now that Sapphira had her guard up, the girl had no chance. Sapphira gave the novice a chance to answer Cayana's question, but the girl looked shocked and angry, and said nothing. "Judging by the form she used, and the way she was using the Power before I caught her, I'm sure she knows its uses." Sapphira did not mention that the girl was not at all surprised at the affect she thought it had had on Sapphira, that would take too much explanation and could wait for later. "As for whether she knows it is outlawed, I do not know, I'd never seen the girl before this morning and cannot speak for her." Sapphira fell silent again, leaving Cayana to her thoughts, and sinking slightly into her own. More than anything, she wished she knew what the girl was thinking, getting inside of the novice's head would be most beneficial to both herself and Cayana. Unfortunately, they could not do that, and had to go only on what they could get out of the girl. Sapphira waited for one of the others in the room to say something. Likely the next person to say anything would be Cayana, judging by the expression on the novice's face, but there was alwas the chance that the girl would burst out some defensive statement. Or fall to her knees apologizing, in an attempt to get out of a punishment. Not that that would do much, Sapphira knew that this girl was in for quite the loathsome ordeal over the next few days or weeks.
Sapphira knew that Cayana had the ability to make the novices' lives miserable, the woman was always fair though, and rarely went so far. Perhaps, though, with this girl, Sapphira would get to see just what Cayana knew about administering punishments. This was the reason that Sapphira was no Mistress of Novices, she would be far too tempted to give all the girls punishments far more severe than the crimes- after all, they would learn faster, would they not? For something like this, Sapphira would have given her kitchen and grounds duties, on top of a switching until she could not sit- immediately followed by quite a long period of doing nothing but sitting and standing and sitting again. Sapphira was sure that were she in Cayana's position, she would have made the girl loath the Tower far more than she already did. Sapphira was curious as to just what Cayana would do, she had not been present when a girl was given a punishment since the last time she had been given one as Accepted. She wondered just how much things had changed in the past hudred plus years, Cayana had not been Mistress of Novices for an overly long time, but Sapphira had seen evidence that she was quite capable time and time again. She had not yet been given cause to regret choosing such a young woman to be in charge of the novices and Accepted. Now, she would get to see this woman in action, and Sapphira could not deny that she was quite curious about the outcome.
Cayana Alhi - April 27, 2005 05:34 AM (GMT)
((OOC: I am sorry that it has taken so long to reply to this .... :( ))
Sapphira answered accordingly that novice indeed knew the weave fine as well as it's uses. Just that should have been enough not to use it... Cayana thought, turning her eyes to the novice as Sapphira continued. "As for whether she knows it is outlawed, I do not know, I'd never seen the girl before this morning and cannot speak for her." Cayana knew that the girl could speak, but she wasn't sure that they'd get anything useful out of her. Most novices either accepted punishment form her quietly or was making outrageous excuses thinking that would ease the punishment. "So child, speak up." Cayana said to the novice. "Do you know that the weave is outlawed and what the usual punishment is?" If she didn't she'd make sure to have a long and firm chat with this girls teachers that was for sure. All novices were drilled to know three things: the name of every Amyrlin and M'Hael since the beginning of the Towers, every rule that concerned them and they where supposed to learn at least the names of the outlawed weaves.
As she waited for a response she pondered how to punish this girl properly. Since the crime was what it was it would be hard to send her to the farms. Even the ones where there were a channeler watching over the girls. It was impossible to keep an eye on a block around the clock. As for switching the girl would get that as soon as Cayana was done interrogating her. But additional things would be given. A moment later she remembered the request of her Ajah head about a few Accepted that had shown interest in the Green Ajah. "Test them, their abilities and interest. I want to know if they are truly green at heart." There was a way to test their abilities....
Watching the girl a plan for a set of chores and other forms of punishment formed in her head. Her eyes glistened with a sharp, icy look. Balefire meant stilling... compulsion....
Naishee Telisia - May 10, 2005 10:06 PM (GMT)
(( I took longer.. Sorry.. Naishee is really a smart ass in this post. ))
"Judging by the form she used, and the way she was using the Power before I caught her, I'm sure she knows its uses." Sapphira told to the Mistress of Novices,"As for whether she knows it is outlawed, I do not know, I'd never seen the girl before this morning and cannot speak for her." The cold eyes of Cayana turned on her, trying to penetrate her mind, but Naishee merely raised an eyebrow. "So child, speak up." Cayana said, "Do you know that the weave is outlawed and what the usual punishment is?" She glared back at the piercing, icy eyes defiantly and lifted her chin slightly. Hmm.. Should I suck up or get myself in worse trouble? There is no way I am going to suck up to THESE women. Clearing her face completely, she spoke in an emotionless voice.. Well, it held a bit of mockery. "I am not a complete idiot, thank you very much. I know Compulsion's uses and I know it is outlawed. As for my punishment, I don't care. You Aes Sedai cannot use the one power on anything except Shadowspawn and Darkfriends, and sending me to a farm would be rather risky since I can channel perfectly. You could use a switch, but violence countering violence? I don't think that is the best way to correct someone's misbehavior, but only make it worse, Aes Sedai." If anything, that only made the two Aes Sedai angrier, especially because the mockery doubled at 'Aes Sedai'. Naishee felt proud, but she knew that her punishment would worsen severely now.. But it was so fun to tease them! She looked very unhurried as if they were on her time, not she on theirs, and waited with overexagerated patience.
Sapphira Calren - May 10, 2005 11:15 PM (GMT)
Sapphira waited with Cayana for the novice to speak up. When she did, Sapphira had a difficult time trying to keep from slapping the girl off her feet where she stood. Even so, she could not stop herself from speaking before Cayana, she did not know what the Mistress of Novice's reply would be, but Sapphira was not willing to wait and find out. She spoke, her voice cold and hard, "Child, you say you are not an idiot, and yet you dare take that tone with two of the most powerful women in the Tower. I do not know where you got your information from, but wherever it was, it was wrong. Aes Sedai can, in fact, use the Power in any manner that they wish, though generally we do not see novices as important enough to do such. Whether you can channel or not does not matter on the farms, as it is impossible for anyone to channel in a stedding, no matter how much of a spoiled little girl you are." She kept her face smooth throughout, and did not allow her tone to show her anger. During her test for the shawl she had endured worse than this, and had dealt with far years over the years since. Sapphira ran through a novice exercise in her mind to calm herself. She could not deal with this novice if she was not collected. No matter what the girl had done, Sapphira getting angry would get the three of them nowhere. She did wonder where the girl had gotten such old information as that Aes Sedai could not use the Power except against Shadowspawn and Darkfriends. It had not been that way for years- longer than Sapphira had been alive, if not by much.
She waited, now much more calm, for Cayana to speak, wondering what the woman would say. Sapphira wondered whether it had been a bad idea to tell the girl that they could use the Power against her if they chose, but surely a little fear would not hurt the girl, and it was not as if they would actually use the Power unless they absolutely had to. Sapphira felt conciously at her shield, satisfied that the novice had not been able to bend it. She had felt the girl hitting it a few moments ago, trying to break it, but Sapphira was confident in herself and her shield, now that she was not taking this girl's strength for granted. She waited for Cayana to speak, or for the novice to make yet another nasty comment. Light, but if the girl did not watch herself she would get herself into much deeper trouble than she already was. Sapphira wondered what could motivate the girl to be this way, she clearly wanted to get away from the Tower, but did she really think that this was the way to go about it? Already she should have realized that even trying to use Compulsion would not get her out of the Tower. Sapphira would never put a girl out of the Tower for that, she was far too posessive of the novices for that. And this girl, this girl in particular Sapphira would not see out of here until she had changed her attitude completely. For some reason, though Sapphira never really wanted to see this girl again, she wanted to see the girl changed entirely. The girl had a spirit that Sapphira could see even in her rulebreaking, she could be an amazing Aes Sedai one day, if her attitude changed, but she kept her strong, stubborn nature. Sapphira knew that it was probably quite strange to be thinking of that right now, but she could not help it, now that she had calmed herself. She still wanted to see the girl severely punished, though, that was for certain.

Cayana Alhi - May 11, 2005 06:13 AM (GMT)
"I am not a complete idiot, thank you very much." Just saying that makes you one.... Cayana thought and just waited for the rest. Her mood getting colder and colder by each word. "I know Compulsion's uses and I know it is outlawed." If this hadn't been a novice.... Cayana knew perfectly well what would have happened. That 'Aes Sedai' or Accepted would have been stilled and sent out of the tower, to the kin most likely to make sure they kept an eye on her. Though not before they had been thoroughly interrogated... Forbidden weaves where forbidden for a reason and someone willing to use such weaves would get stilled for the protection of others, just as much as an example for others. "As for my punishment, I don't care. You Aes Sedai cannot use the one power on anything except Shadowspawn and Darkfriends, and sending me to a farm would be rather risky since I can channel perfectly." Cayana almost smiled and almost, just to prove a point, embraced Saidar to slap the girl with. But she didn't, the girl wasn't worth that. "You could use a switch, but violence countering violence? I don't think that is the best way to correct someone's misbehavior, but only make it worse, Aes Sedai." Who does she think she is? Trying to lecture me on the best way to correct someone's misbehavior? But before Cayana had a chance to respond Sapphira seemed to 'boil over'. The Amyrlin seemed more upset then Cayana had first thought. But then again, she wasn't surprised. She wondered what she had done had the girl done that to her...
"Child, you say you are not an idiot, and yet you dare take that tone with two of the most powerful women in the Tower. I do not know where you got your information from, but wherever it was, it was wrong. Aes Sedai can, in fact, use the Power in any manner that they wish, though generally we do not see novices as important enough to do such. Whether you can channel or not does not matter on the farms, as it is impossible for anyone to channel in a stedding, no matter how much of a spoiled little girl you are." Cayana shifted her eyes to the Amyrlin. The stedding farms drove people mad if they stayed there long enough and to change this girl? The inability to channel was much worse when you couldn't touch saidar no matter what. The only thing actually worse was Far Madding, where you couldn't even sense the source. For a second Cayana toyed with the idea of actually having the girl sent there, just to teach her a lesson worth learning, but the complications that would create... Cayana wasn't sure if this novice was worth it. Hmm....
Now Cayana did embrace the source and with it she wove two weaves, one cut off all sound that the girl could hear and the other was placed so that she could not see what was going on. What the girls reaction would be Cayana didn't care about. She needed the Amyrlins take on things and she wouldn't let the girl have advantage of learning anything of what Sapphira said. Tying off the weaves when in place Cayana turned to Sapphira, but still ready to use the source to keep the girl in place should she try and cause a havoc. "How much value does she have to the Tower?" Cayana asked Sapphira who was the girls mentor after all. Cayana had not taught this girl personally and besides her strength, and her clearly previously taught abilities, nothing clearly told her anything of the girls value. If Sapphiras opinion was that this girl was someone who needed to be kept Cayana would do what it took to get the girl turned around. If it so took breaking her to do it. But then again it could be the girls spirit that Sapphira wanted, still Cayana couldn't see a reason why this insolent girl, with no thought of how her own life could be taking a tole to the worse, wouldn't be a girl to break before you built her up again. Correctly.
((OOC: Hope you don't mind this post. If any of you want to discuss the punishment that this will result in I don't mind, just let me know. :) ))

Sapphira Calren - May 21, 2005 10:05 PM (GMT)
Sapphira waited for Cayana to say something, or for the novice to dig herself into even more trouble. So she was a bit surprised when Cayana wove two fairly simple threads, but effective at their purpose, keeping the novice from seeing or hearing anything that went on in the room. She looked at Cayana, and thought about the woman's question for a few moments. As a novice, she did not have any particular value to the Tower, but even in her anger, Sapphira could see uses for the future. "Right now? Nothing, aside from her rather shocking strength and ability. I would like to know where she learned to use the Power like that, but aside from that she has no current uses. I don't know about the future though, she has a strong spirit, if we can break it and mold it to our purposes. Her ability with the Power comes up again as well, perhaps she would be able to teach novices and Accepted- perhaps she could already teach the novices. If not for her attitude, I would have had her in the Arches already, I think you would agree." She paused and looked at the other woman, one of the few in the Tower of the same height as Sapphira. At some times it seemed humorous that two of the most powerful women in the Tower would also be two of the smallest, it had never bothered Sapphira, and she doubted if it bothered Cayana either.
"I know that you like to see girls put out of the Tower even less than I do, and I would very much like to keep this girl here. Though she has broken many rules in only a few moments, instinct tells me to keep her here, though I do not know why. Of course, that does not mean that she should get off on her punishment. Cayana, I know your uncanny abilities to change girls' attitudes, do you think you can do anything with this one?" She realized that she had given the woman almost no choice in what to say, to say that she could not break this novice would almost be to disobey an order. Sapphira had never said that the girl had to be kept in the Tower, but she doubted that Cayana would suggest that after all that she had said. The Green sister would almost certainly recognize that Sapphira had talked her into a corner on purpose, but she could do little about it. Then again, if Cayana did not think that she could fix this girl, then Sapphira knew by the Oath that she would answer honestly. If that were the case, Sapphira would see the girl out of the Tower, but she would be sure to find someone skilled at Shielding to tie such a knot on this girl's shield that she would never be able to find her way through it to channel again. Sapphira watched Cayana, waiting for her answer, wondering what the woman was thinking. Even in such a situation as this, Sapphira knew that the Great Game was still being played, Cayana was certainly aware of that, and had to be careful of what she said. It was at times like these when Sapphira wished that Aes Sedai were more free with their thoughts, and spoke their minds more often, it would make many things much easier.
Cayana Alhi - May 23, 2005 05:55 AM (GMT)
((OOC: they can see her, she's just trapped in normal weaves, it's not like Cayana wove illusion weaves :P))
Sappira did answer, and use her every ability as a red, cairhienin and Amyrlin to do it. "Right now? Nothing, aside from her rather shocking strength and ability. I would like to know where she learned to use the Power like that, but aside from that she has no current uses. I don't know about the future though, she has a strong spirit, if we can break it and mold it to our purposes." Perhaps she would be up for the idea after all... "Her ability with the Power comes up again as well, perhaps she would be able to teach novices and Accepted- perhaps she could already teach the novices. If not for her attitude, I would have had her in the Arches already, I think you would agree." Cayana did but didn't give any hints to that. As a Saldaean Cayana had had to learn the Daes Dae'mar that was always played among the Aes Sedai, but one thing she did know for sure, never give up any information if you don't know what causes it will bring. "I know that you like to see girls put out of the Tower even less than I do, and I would very much like to keep this girl here." That sounded almost like an order... "Though she has broken many rules in only a few moments, instinct tells me to keep her here, though I do not know why. Of course, that does not mean that she should get off on her punishment. Cayana, I know your uncanny abilities to change girls' attitudes, do you think you can do anything with this one?"
Cayana thought for a moment on how to formulate the idea. It might sound strange, but as long as Naishee was kept away from any wells it would work fine... "I have an idea, it might even break the girls attitude fast as long as no one let her escape. But it would take a bit of work." Cayana had let her eyes stray to the novice and now looked back at Sapphira again. "We could set up a place, similar to the farms, but in Far Madding." Cayana did think that Sapphira would instinctively feel the fear of Far Madding, not of it's inhabitants, not for what could happen there, but for the lack of ability to channel there or even feel the true source. No Aes Sedai stayed there to long. It wiped the joy out of you, the life. The source gone from you. Aes Sedai made sure to leave before it drove them crazy, but Naishee was young enough to not have channeled that much on a daily basis, young enough to not be driven completely mad even though it might break her spirits. Cayana did hope that it would so they could build her back faster then if she would be sent to the stedding farms. "What I'm saying is that Far Madding would be a place that just as a stedding wouldn't necessarily need any channelers to look after her, but still would, with work and time, break her. With some necessary preparations set up before hand she could be worked and monitored closely for changes in attitude." She didn't know what Sapphira would say to this, but it was this or the farms as long as Sapphira stood on her will to want this girl in the towers.
Sapphira Calren - June 7, 2005 04:45 PM (GMT)
Sapphira waited for Cayana to answer, allowing the woman all the time she needed to think. Sapphira knew that the sister would not suggest putting the novice out of the Tower, not after what Sapphira had said, maybe she needed time to think of another solution. Within a few moments, the woman had a suggestion. Send the novice away from the Tower, to Far Madding. Something like the farms, but slightly different. The metion of the place gave Saphira more chills than the thought of Shayol Ghul. In some countries, channeling was feared and shunned, in some it was a crime. Far Madding went far beyond that, they made channeling all blut impossible. They had a large ter'angreal that made the Source impossible to feel. If someone did manage to channel within their boundaries, it would indicate the location, and the person was taken into custody. Sapphira had never been there, and had no desire to go. A stedding was bad enough, but at least there there was no ill will toward channelers. Sapphira thought that if the Ogier could find a way, they would allow channeling within their boundaries. And Cayana was suggesting that, rather than the farms, this girl be sent to Far Madding. If it was made common knowledge that the girl was a channeler, she would, no doubt, have a difficult time of it.
Sapphira thought for a few moments, forming a few questions. It was certainly an original idea, and certainly held promise, but there were still things to be figured ou. After all, no new ideas came together immediately, there were always wrinkles to be dealt with. "Far Madding," she finally said quietly. "What would the girl do there?" she asked, looking back at the novice. Time spent there doing only a visitor's shopping would drive her mad, the lack of the Power would see to that. But Sapphira knew that that would not be the case, the girl would certainly be doing many unsavoury chores. Even this girl could not hope to remain rebelious in the face of that. The Tower itself could break most girls, but some needed something extra. This girl could channel well, very well, a little time without the Power would surely teach her her place. Likely she would come back whimpering to do Aes Sedais' bidding as long as it meant no more punishment and the ability to channel. Sapphira had seen it before, and had no questions about effectivenes. Even just the threat of the farms was enough to keep most girls who could channel fairly well in line. That meant most everyone who had been in the Tower more than a few months was careful not to break too many serious rules. Sapphira did not know how long this girl had been here, but she had known about the farms- however had been too sure of herself to be afraid of them.
Sapphira refocused herself on the Mistress of Novices, waiting for her answer. Far Madding was not a small city, but it was a city, and that meant less opportunity for manual labor that was characteristic of the farms. Then again, if that had been what Cayana had in mind, she would have simply suggested that. Sapphira could not help but wonder what sort of work Cayana wanted this novice to be put to. She did not doubt that Cayana had something in mind, and she was curious as to what it was. If what had already happened was to be an indicator, nearly anything would work on this girl. Forcing her to take orders, and having to do some menial work, on top of that, whether it be physical or not. Sapphira did not know nor care what the girl's past held, but if forced, she would guess that the girl was a noble or very wealthy merchant's child, from her spoiled actions. Well, the girl would forget that life quickly, she would have to, or things would only get worse for her. Sapphira still had no thoughts of sending the girl away, though she still was not certain why. And Cayana had provided the way to keep her, though it meant sending her away for a time. Sapphira wondered whether the girl would hope to get away while out of the Tower. She would not be surprised if she tried, but she would fail. Sapphira would personally give the order to keep the girl shielded and guarded throughout the the journey if the Aes Sedai who escorted her did not see the need themselves.
Cayana Alhi - June 22, 2005 03:14 PM (GMT)
Sapphira didn't right away accept the idea. Cayana hadn't expected her to. There were details that needed to be dealt with, details Cayana normally would deal with herself, but as Sapphira was asking Cayana had no problem thinking up stuff for the girl to do, just as if the girl would have been placed in a White Tower where no one could channel. "There are several ways for her to be put to work there. One would be within the palace as a maid or washing lady or some such. Silly and boring labors, mostly to keep her occupied. An other labour could be to, in the palace as well, copy books and the like. The library there still has books that haven't been copied and brought to the tower library. I'd like the tasks to be simple but in places where it wouldn't be to odd for a girl to be under guard." Cayana did think about setting up protection weaves in the girls room so that no channeler could leave it, but then that would make things a bit more tricky and demanded a channeler to watch over things, it was better to just keep a set of three pairs of guards taking turns watching her around the clock until she was broken and Aes Sedai (herself or someone else) to come and visit shortly once a week to see how the progress was coming along.
((OOC: I'm sorry this post is short, I do have a problem RPing Cayana at the moment and this thread has started to feel pointless since some how Neishee breaks free anyway and escapes with Rownan... I'm sorry, just not in a Cayana RPing mood....))
