The song was composed and sang by a britton, who had a belgian friend who actually did NOT like to be a belgian. So the british dude wrote this song to make him feel better or something, so it's actually some sort of a joke.
Me and a friend of mine made a parody on it back when we were really into playing live Vampire: the masquerade. It was titled: "Potverdekke, it's great to be a gangrel."
