Title: Spring Break
Description: Plans
Neo - March 18, 2004 05:07 AM (GMT)
What is everyone doing for Spring Break?
I'm not doing much, Eleni is in Florida. THings I know I'm doing is getting my new computer's finishing touches done when I go to my friend's in Woodbury on Sunday, and then Saturday I'm finally going to see Dawn of the Dead most likely.
Other than that, I'll be playing on the computers/Xbox and working.
Note: My spring break is next week, so if your break was this week or whatever, just post what you did for it.

OnetoMany - March 18, 2004 07:14 AM (GMT)
I'm spending my spring break (aka, now) with this little spawn of hell that I like to call the common cold. -_- Yeah, so since my break is sucking to high heavens that means the rest of you losers don't got anything to complain about
College degrees make you look different from other job goers. Aka, a degree tells the employer that yes, you'll get up everyday on time and do something you're not happy doing everyday. That's a guarentee that's hard to find, no? ^_^
new guy - March 18, 2004 03:41 PM (GMT)
A colege degree now a days also means you were probubly drunk during half of it. By the way, If anyone works at Wynsong and doesn't want to work, I'll work for them.
Lord_Gradient - March 18, 2004 08:09 PM (GMT)
Can you work for me on the 21st...that's this Sunday...not sure what time yet, but I know I'll be working and I really want that day off so I can go to my step-bros b-day party.
pocketboy - March 18, 2004 08:49 PM (GMT)
if you go to college. dont take the IT path.. >.<
Neo - March 18, 2004 10:31 PM (GMT)
Yeah, I think working since you're 16 and having a perfect record there and very good comments from the managers means more than living in a dorm and going to colege anymore. 89% of the kids in this community go to college, so what's so special about it anymore? College degrees are losing their flavor, just like H.S. diplomas did when almost everybody started getting them.
That is if I decide to work somewhere other than Cub..
Neo - March 19, 2004 02:12 AM (GMT)
I'd think a manager's referral is better than a teacher's.
OnetoMany - March 19, 2004 02:07 AM (GMT)
good comments from managers is like recommendations for your resume.
good comments from teachers is pretty much the same, no?
OnetoMany - March 19, 2004 02:38 AM (GMT)
Good for you. You have your own opinions.
You're a free thinking individual. Want a cookie?

Rick, I might have other plans that day so I'm not sure, I will probubly depend on the time, but ir's not a garuntee. But to the topic, I really agree with Neo on this one. Since everone is going to collage, its more like an extention of High School and thats it. Nothing special at all, all your doing is paying a hundered dollars for a BOOK.
Neo - March 19, 2004 04:39 AM (GMT)
and thousands for school.
OnetoMany - March 19, 2004 04:40 AM (GMT)
Well, I spent about 100 dollars on books already from my sci-fi/fantasy novel fix so at least this way, I'm learning something.
... Biology is interesting but I wouldn't want it as a career.

If you like Evolution being shoved down your throat...
OnetoMany - March 19, 2004 04:44 AM (GMT)
If you're a creationist, than I think there's no hope of us ever getting along.
Not that there was anyway but dig the hole a lil deeper, will ya?
<_<
OnetoMany - March 19, 2004 04:48 AM (GMT)
Will what? I didn't say explain yourself, I'm just saying our views of the world are too different.
And THAT WAS UNBACKED PUTDOWN. FLAMES! OMG NEO, WHY? WHERE'S YOUR HONOR CODE, YOU FUGGIN BASTARD, YOU?
Neo - March 19, 2004 04:50 AM (GMT)
You said dig the hole a lil' deeper will ya? So I did...even more. :)
You seriously want me to post all the holes in Evolution, I can Saturday afternoon, I go to bed soon and then I have school/work all day tomorrow.
OnetoMany - March 19, 2004 04:51 AM (GMT)
nah, you won't convince me and I won't convince you and it'll just get into an angry circle of YOU SUCK, NO YOU SUCK
I can smell a fruitless battle miles away!
Neo - March 19, 2004 04:52 AM (GMT)
I have proof Evolution is fake. Anything you say about Creationalism I can refute, try me.
OnetoMany - March 19, 2004 04:53 AM (GMT)
GOD DOES NOT EXIST
YOU CANNOT DISPROVE THIS FOR I AM ATHEIST :lmfao:
...
Seriously, we're not going to believe each other and we're too set in our beliefs. Just drop it.
I'M WARNING YOU. YOU CAN'T CONVINCE ME AND I'M OBVIOUSLY NOT WASTING ENERGY ON A LOST CAUSE LIKE YOU.
Neo - March 19, 2004 04:54 AM (GMT)
God does exist.
Refuted & owned.
OnetoMany - March 19, 2004 04:56 AM (GMT)
No, you see, to an evolutionist like myself, that is an opinion, not valid fact and therefore is voided by the usual method of hypothesis.
Neo - March 19, 2004 04:59 AM (GMT)
Why not pick apart holes in the actual Creationism theory?
That's like me saying Darwin never existed, which is not an attack on Evolution really, but the author of it.
OnetoMany - March 19, 2004 05:02 AM (GMT)
*shrug* What irritates me most is that creationists say evolution isn't right therefore, that makes creationism right.
1+1 does not equal 3 but that does not automatically make it equal 11
Evolution makes sense to me. It makes more sense than the alternatives. That is all.

You are unsensible.
OnetoMany - March 19, 2004 05:06 AM (GMT)
And this conversation is over.
It's impossible to have an intelligent conversation with you without some variation of "you suck" huh?
*shrug* Not like anyone cares anyway.
Lord_Gradient - March 19, 2004 05:08 AM (GMT)
I would have to agree with OneToMany...although Creationism is respectably and logical and the majority of the Bible can be proven, I just feel that Evolution is more logical. It's kind of like how you, Neo, feel how The Matrix is superior to LOTR. Opinion, but yet in your eyes you perceive it as being mostly true...in this case, massively true.
