RULES

Post any strange and/or weird dreams that you remember having. Anything goes, as long as you do not get too extreme with them (nothing ...gratuitously graphic I'll say).

But there's a formula to this too. One person will rate the previous dream (1 thru 10, with 10 being the best rating meaning uber-weird/strange) and then post their own. Consider this another forum game by me.

Also, if you wish...go ahead and post what you think led to your having the dream to begin with.

So hmmm...I've had quite a few of them. Ah! But I do remember one...

It was pocketboy, me, and I think wangchild was in there too...we were inside a large, run-down building that was falling apart while being hunted by zombies and other mutated things. The dream wasn't TOO strange until we got to this area that looked like the wireframe version of a building just about to undergo the cement work. We were jumping and climbing everywhere, dodging zombies and whatnot, until we finally made it to the bottom. Then we started running as far from the building as possible until we came to a vast open field, all the while with the zombies and other deformed creatures following behind us. Suddenly, out of nowhere massive hordes of more demonic-looking "things" appeared and started charging at us. We then teamed up with the zombies and started fighting against the demonic horde of creatures, a la Lord of the Rings style. Then it all ended I wanted to see the conclusion, but oh well.

The sources for that dream were probably Resident Evil and Lord of the Rings...since I remember reading a lot about various RE games around the same time I saw Return of the King.

Gradients dream is now rated 6, but only because I'm not sure what wangchild looks like and thus substituted him with a mental picture of Roland Deschain. =D


I have this recurring dream where I wake up, take a look at my alarm clock, notice that it's 10:30am which means I missed two of my classes, fall back asleep, and then JOLT RIGHT BACK UP when my 6:55am alarm goes off.

I panic about the strangest things.

i rate onetomany's dream a 2. that situation might have happened to every one atleast once. well it has happened to me.

so im just walking along a path, and two men dressed in a brown hooded robe carrying some large device or whatnot, approach me.(theyre also wearing masks) they both take off their hoods and the mask is still on. mystery man A holds up a jewl encrested medallion. i take it the masks shatter, and i find out that they are vampires. they try to bite me but, for some reason they die. i steal an axe off of one, and still head along the path only to team up with two more characters. one holding a warhammer and the other a whip. for some reason i get lost enter another dream where i am lost, for some reason i enter the same dream again, only to find myself at draculas head castle. and i wake up.

yeah i was playing alot of morrowind and watching vampire hunter d blood lust, so.....

My dream:

I was there ******* this ***** and right before I ******* ******* all over her ***, this ****** comes up and is like ****** get away from my *****. So I was like, "ok" and beat the **** out of him. I then proceeded to **** as planned.

It's like a mad lib!!! :lmfao: 10/10! I liked filling in the "blanks".

But now I have to list ANOTHER one?!?!?!

Umm...okay, well here goes I guess.

I know everyone gets this at some point, and I absolutely LOVE how it feels...you know that feeling you get when you're almost asleep and it suddenly feels like you are falling then you wake up all of the way and realize you are still right where you were before you had the feeling? That one..that's my favorite "dream" ever...except for the interactive ones where it seems like I can "control" everything that happens in it. Like being conscious subconsciously...

Those are called Lucid Dreams. And no, never had one of those. I guess that means I'm a really boring person who never tries anything new when they can control themselves in their dreams.

Okay, so I'm standing in the middle of an empty town, very western ghost setting like. I kinda slowly walk down doing the usual, calling out to see if anyone's around. I look up at the sky and it's all red and murky, kinda like a cloudy pond but RED but not blood red, just red. For some reason, this suddenly transports me to an airplane and I'm looking out the airplane window now. The airplane is all empty seats. I don't think the dream me got worried yet and she just walked to the cockpit to see what's up. Yup, the cockpit is empty too.
Then, dream me leaves the cockpit, OPENS THE EMERGENCY EXIT AND JUMPS OUT THE DOOR. As she's falling, she suddenly notices she's above the Grand Canyon or something really red and Mars-like enviornment. She's falling really fast but really slowly cause the ground isn't getting closer fast but there's a lot of wind.
And then I wake up.

That's called lucid dreaming, you should do a search on it. There's techniques you can do to make the dreams happen often if you're good and sorta dedicated to doing "reality checks".

Like, look at your hand during the day a lot and count your fingers. In dreams you will start doing this out of habit and in dreams your hand will look distorted and you will realize you are in a dream. There's other things you can do too, like look in mirrors a lot in real life or look at a clock. Dreams always distort those 2 things as well and can make you realize you are in a dream.

Like looking into a parallel universe...*ahem

I had this dream its not so special, but there were ppl screaming louder and louder, and when it got so loud i felt my eardrums vibrate to the brim i woke up....

I heard a bird behind my curtains and they kept flying out at me....I called for my parents, they checked, curtains stopped when they came in. Happened 3 more times....then whamo a crow flew out of the curtains and my dad beat it out of the house with a broom (happened when I was 5, pretty freaky, also not a dream and was true :/)

7... its like something out of a weird horror movie

well... lets see here... the only dream i can think of is the one i had last week...

i was fencing with the girl i like, only she had adora's (from magna carta) weird outfit on... and i'm pretty sure i looked like avalanche (also from magna carta)... this went on for several hours... and i'm fairly sure something really important happened at the end but i can't remember anything...

this isnt much, but i had a dream where i was running through some out door maze and it was starting to get dark and cloudy, then i got chased by giant scorpion/praying mantis creatures that were trying to kill me. they chased me all the way to a cliff at the end of the maze, then they pushed me off and i woke up about halfway down the fall.

Okay, I think this was because Neo said the stuff about lucid dreaming. Anyway, in the dream, I look at my hand to try to count my fingers probably cause I recall Neo saying you can find out if you're lucid dreaming that way or not. Not sure if I was controlling anything but I look at my fingers and it's not just blurry, it's MELTING. I look around and notice that it's like I'm stuck in a Dali painting (remember the melting clocks? the blasted landscape? No? Psh, philistines). This seems pretty weird until I notice that I REALLY AM MELTING. Like, sinking into the muddy desert really really slowly. Boring part, I stay like this kinda contemplating my fate or something and then when I'm like waist deep, I decide, this is where I pull myself out! Cept my hand is melted so I no longer have opposable thumbs. This is where I go "Oh fuck"

But I must've wasted a lot of time slowly sinking into the desert admiring the landscape cause this is where I wake up and head to the bathroom. It was like 4:30am too. BAH.

Ok, when you realize your hand or anything is distorted, just start spinning or something. Just like look at your feet and spin in your dream and think to yourself this is a dream and stuff like that. It make take a couple tries but it looks like you were pretty much successful on your first try without even weeks of "reality checks".

You probably wn't be able to fly or do anything like that the first couple times, but soon you will. I've had about 3 lucid dreams without trying.

I don't think it was so much a lucid dream was it was a dream about the results of lucid dreaming. Cause if it were a lucid dream, I figure I would start trying to dream up something normal like a cityscape or something. =D

But I think it was me in the dream.

And since I woke up in the middle of the R.E.M. cycle I was able to remember it better. I suppose.

That's the best time to lucid dream.

i had a lucid dream where i was in my house, and on a whim i decided to try to walk through a wall... it didn't work so i forced myself awake

Yeah, I remember having a lucid dream where I was in an alley, and I was being shot at but I could see the bullets so I would tell myself how to move to "dodge" them...lol.

I always was delusional as a child, I ran out on my deck and climbed down a rope made of blankets to the ground because I thought a giant bowling ball was chasing me trying to squish me.....scary (so it was real, pretend it was a dream lol)

a couple of days/weeks ago,

a group of hot girls(around my age) started to swarm around me.yes me! they were alittle bit more than half naked(like clothing barley covering up)it was a thinner version of me. the person looked just like me, but thinner. once the dream started to get good i woke up. but i was uber pissed. because it was awsome. all true!

and then you cleaned your sheets in the bathroom sink. :puke: 0/10 sick freak.

I had a dream a couple nights ago I wrote in my journal (I write stuff because I am bored in school)

It was the night before my 18th birthday and for some reason I was in the Compactor room at work and I had bunk beds along the one wall and I think I may have been working earlier that day but I wasn't then and me, a friend from work I think, and Eleni were all just in there in casual clothes (not work outfit) and then we went to bed...and when I woke up it was 4pm...and I was supposed to work at 7am...and I went around in just my boxers looking for my manager I had seen, I checked the break room and found some Dew U caps/points and the whole break room was different, it was really big and nice. I had seen my manager as well and was like, "Why didn't someone wake me up! I was supposed to work at 7am", and he tells me that I won't be working on my birthday or something. He's the nicest manager we have there in real life.

So as I walk out of the break room I see this weird guy with medium long hair and he says to me, "They are coming, watch for them" or something like that, and then dissapears. In my head I think it's Micheal, an angel..that just popped into my head. So about 5 minutes later, me and my friend John Orth and some other kids from Woodbury and a couple guys I work with are back outside behind Cub, and I'm telling them what I saw, and John says he sees him now too, and he's sitting on this Green electrical box near us. Everybody goes inside but me and John to go get someone else to see if they see this guy also.

John jumps down this little walkway we were on and Micheal dissapears and all of sudden I see this woman walking towards John to ask for help, they start walking towards a big lack Suburban with all 3 driver side doors open, I know this is my time and jump down to stop her, and I have also have a yellow pipe in my hand. As soon as I hit the pavement John gets sucked ino the Suburban and the lady jumps into the driver's seat, I start running along side it bashing in the windows and get the driver window and bash her in the face with the pipe but she still drives away, I start running after it and I wake up.

you get a negative five for being yourself. but a 5 for the dream it was pretty good

anyways i just remembered one of my favorite dreams ever...

it starts in this white carriage... and i'm with 3 other people who are dressed in gray armor with gray fatigues. i looked down and i was wearing all white and had long white hair. Then we get to my house/hideaway and i told the three soldiers not to touch anything. when we got inside everything was (yeah you probably guessed by now) white but there was no furniture of any kind... the doors leading inside were really ornate and looked almost like they had flowed out of the wall itself (lots of sloping lines)... i looked to my right and saw a hallway so long i could only just barely make out the end of it and staring back was another copy of me (i think it was a copy anyway)... we then went into the next room (through the doors not the hallway... i get the feeling the hallway was a trap) the next room had one small walkway that was about 10 feet long and everything looked like it was made from granite blocks, while the air was filled with many floating spheres of varying colors (using only the normal color spectrum) these moved very slow. one of the soldiers reached out and touched one and would have fallen down into the chasm under the walkway (it looked bottomless) because he was suddenly petrified. i grabbed him in time and muttered something about having to waste a healing spell. going through the large doors at the end of the walkway (which resembled bronze and were very plain) we got to my living quarters. everything was white in this room again except for my bed which was blood red. it was an old canopy bed (kind of like the ones you would see in medieval times) it was also outlined in black. there were also several chairs (white again) a large mirror and another set of doors that looked exactly like the first doors i saw. i laid the incapacitated soldier down and then looked directly into the mirror. i realized that i was a vampire (i saw vampiric looking fangs and i also had red eyes... i can only assume i was a vampire) then i walked through the other set of doors... and woke up

Eleni and I didn't sleep together in my dream.

Actually, I never saw her go to bed, I remember laying down in a bunk bed int he garbage compactor room and her stil standing where we just were, and I fell asleep right away, and then woke up like 12 hours later when it was 4pm

The point is, Jaster will see a phrase and then translate it into the most sexually indicative sentence possible. Which, in this case, led to a bit of confusion for you two. :yes:

Actually, you supposedly have dreams nearly every time you sleep, but they only last around 15 minutes (although they seem a lot longer) so you rarely remember them in full detail or sometimes at all.

Let's get back to the actual "game" though now please...

i have just one question for onetomany... which anime did you see like that?
