We invite any of you that can make it out to good ol' NYC on the 17th of May to join us for what is always a good time benefiting a GREAT cause! Alas, I am not coming for AIDS Walk. I will be in town the week before for the Meet n Greet. Can't take two weeks off, unfortunately. So, I will be there in spirit with all of you. And, you better get down with your bad self and dance wif mah girls if they're around with their boombox this year!

There is pretty much a 90% chance I'm staying here this summer... sending in my deposit this week and I'm almost (almost) certain I'll be keeping my office job. So... looks like I will be walking!

UUMMM...YES! I can't believe it's that time of the year already. I was pretty sure I already cured AIDS, but apparently not. That's ok though because I loves me some walking! This year I think I'm really gonna do it up, and actually bedazzle my whole body, in honor of all the years I've walked (Is it really 5?). So if ya'll feel like you want a mascot, I've got that covered

Ugh, Courtney...did you get what we've all had since last week!?! Dang cold and flu season! All of us were down for the count from about Wednesday night on...

Every year they predict rain on AIDS Walk weekend, and every year it doesn't rain.

Most likely, yes. Right now I have a temp of 102.2 so I'll be staying in bed for the rest of the day. lol.

Only rained for the first few minutes... mainly while we were waiting for people to show up. :P

Well, that IS good news. Sounds like last year, where it kinda spit on us whilst walking, we put on our $1 ponchos, and sweated the rest of the way through cause it was so 'effin' humid!

It was actually really lovely. Cool and overcast, so we weren't too hot, and it sprinkled a little early on but didn't really rain. And we FINALLY got all the freebies again! Apples and granola bars and Larabars, and CHEETOS! And apple juice. Twas awesome.

And cinnamon snack things. And Lays potato chips.
And weird water. I can't even describe the bottle.

But yes, it was nice. I still somehow managed to get a bit sunburnt on my face, though. NO clue how.
