Anyway...
I've been thinking about Sirius falling through the veil, and I've come to the conclusion that the "death" just wasn't complete enough. When Cedric died, we saw his spirit, saw his dead body. JK gave us enough information for us to conclude that he really was dead. Sirius, though - she could have killed him off any way she wanted to. She could have had that curse hit him, and let everyone see him dead right there. But she "killed" him in a way that nobody could confirm he was actually dead. I believe the Ministry keeps that veil as a portal, a way to cross back and forth between the worlds of the dead and the living.
I believe, 100%, that Sirius is coming back.

What do you think?

I believe 80% that Sirius is coming back. After all it might have been fatal. :unsure:

She has to tell us what's behind that veil, and when she does, we'll find out what happened to Sirius.

I agree with you about 99.99%. I just don't know enough about the veil to make a solid conclusion.

I totally agree with Laz on the fact that the veil is a portal. One of my favorite theories is that Sirius is transported to the Stonehedge around the Solastic. (sp?) The Stonehedge because it is in Wiltshire where the Malfoy's mansion is, and because Sirius and Narcissca are related there may be a connection there.

Hopefully he is at our Starbucks...

I believe that Sirius is alive, and that he's just stuck somewhere and can't get out...but of course, I don't really know what all the viel is about, so we all will have to wait and see what it is, before we really know if he is alive or dead...*hopes he is alive!*

I think Sirius will find a way back, but he died for a reason. JKR said it herself he died for a reason. So I'm sure there is some way that Harry will see Sirius again. Luna sees her mom...and she is dead.

You know, the fifth book is my least fav book because Siris supposedly "died" but I was never sure. I would skim the book for some clue and I think i found one. I really agree that it's a portal, but I'm not so sure Siris can get back. Lets just hope that in future books, we will learn more about that very odd viel. :wink:

I totally believe that JKR is going to bring him back in some form or fashion. The way she wrote that scene is too inconclusive.
PLUS!!! She said that the mirror that Sirius gave to Harry (or at least the information surrounding it) is going to play a role in books 6 and 7.

it's a portal that people go into, but they don't come out. maybe that's another way the Ministry executes.
