Title: POA
Description: Love it or Leave it!

Personally I hated it. And I won't see it again until the DVD release and that is soley for the reason that I have the series complete.

Why did you hate it? I loved it! Of course they did cut out a little to much, but I thought it was really good all the same.

They changed it so much, but I still loved it. :D

I loved it, despite my disappointment with it.

I'm thinking that I may go and see it when it comes to the base theatre rather then spending another 9.50 per person for something I don't like. I want to see it because there were some things that I did catch for possible answers for books 6 and 7.

I saw a blast ended skrewt in there.

Moony - June 8, 2004 03:18 PM (GMT)
You did? Wow. I'll have to look for that.

I saw a blast ended skrewt in there.

Wow! You did? Is that what that thing was that Hagrid threw a blanket over, when Dumbledore, Fudge, and the executioner came to his hut?

Moony - June 9, 2004 08:07 AM (GMT)
Oh you're right! That must have been a Blast-ended Skrewt! I can't believe I missed that. I though about it, but it kind of looks more like a lobster...

I'm between the last two. It was a great movie if you didn't read the books, but I personally didn't like it. This being my favorite book I was very dissapointed.

I have one major thing to say.

Dementors don't fly!!!!!!!!!

That irked me.

bluejeanbaby - June 13, 2004 11:18 PM (GMT)
I've seen it four times already, I know, insane, and it really does get better with each viewing.

I think in order to enjoy it, you have to be not so literal with it. The Dementors do glide, so having them fly is Alfonso's creative liberty shining through. I like that they fly.

Yeah. It's really cool. ^_^

bluejeanbaby - June 21, 2004 03:43 AM (GMT)
Soooo worth a read if you can handle mature language and double entendre (if you don't know what that means, then you probably shouldn't read it)

Please don't say that I didn't warn you when it comes to the adultness of it all.

i think the POA was the best one yet!! :laughbounce: the other too were just so terible

bluejeanbaby - August 29, 2004 02:49 AM (GMT)
I wouldn't say that the other two were terrible, even in comparison with PoA, which is the best one thus far. It's just that PS/SS and CoS are on an entirely differently level than PoA.

i know what you mean its still the best one though :poke:

bluejeanbaby - August 29, 2004 09:52 PM (GMT)
Yes, it is the best one, I agree, but if PoA would have been directed by Chris Columbus, we wouldn't know any different. I mean, all we had until PoA was PS/SS and CoS and I didn't hear anyone complain about them when they were the only two there were. Know what I mean?

Blue

and, if the first two had not been successful as movies, then PoA would have NEVER even been considered as a movie!
