Title: Who saw the movie?!

Moony - June 5, 2004 05:05 PM (GMT)
I saw the movie last night, and dudes and dudettes, it, in my opinion is the best movie yet! But they cut out to much stuff in my opinion. The dementors look really cool! Ron is really funny in this one and Hermione is great! If you haven't seen it yet, hurry and go see it! It is so cool!

Wendy - June 5, 2004 09:07 PM (GMT)
I saw it late last night, and it's my new favorite movie! So much better then the others! When lupin turned into a wearwolf, it was really scarry!
Loved it. :D
4/5 stars.

Moony - June 5, 2004 09:18 PM (GMT)
Yeah, but I think he looked kind of...naked you know? Wasn't it funny though? "He looks a little peaky."
"Peaky? He fell over a hundred feet! Lets drop you off the astronamy tower and see how you look." :D

bluejeanbaby - June 6, 2004 12:32 AM (GMT)
I've seen it twice already!!

I haven't seen it yet, but I'm planning to see it when it's almost out of theatres because it's like soooo crowded with Children. And when I'm in a theatre with children it aggrivates me. Because you know how they like laugh at one part and then repeat it? Everytime I go to a movie, My lil' 11 year old to be sister does that all the time! And it gets soooooo annoying!!!

bluejeanbaby - June 7, 2004 07:51 PM (GMT)
Why don't you go during the day when all of the kids are school? Or even a late showing? The movie is over 2 hours so most parents wouldn't take their kids much later than a 7:30ish showing.

bluejeanbaby - June 13, 2004 03:14 AM (GMT)
OMG Wendy! I saw it last night on a whim and I just got home from seeing it a fourth time too! I LOVE that movie! It honestly gets better every time you see it.

If you detach yourself from the books, they are great; I am too attatched to them and movie left so much stuff out, that I couldn't possibly enjoy it as much as I should. I did like Gary, David, and Micheal. I thought they were great at their roles.

And Fred and George were very good looking. :jawdrop:

Now, I've got that out...

Go back and see it again and DON'T think of the book. It's my fave book in the series, so I know that it isn't easy to do, but try it. I promise you that you'll enjoy it more than you did the first time.

And Gred and Feorge did get much better looking. Whoa!

Yes....yum, yum in regards to the twins.

I was a little disappointed when I saw it the first time, but still liked it. The more I've seen it, though, the more I've grown to like it. I think that HP fans really WANT to like it out of loyalty.....know what I mean?

Anora - August 24, 2004 01:32 AM (GMT)
you know what I find SIRIUSLY infuriating? I cant find HP POA ANYWHERE in theaters around here..it only played for a few weeks, then left. But Ive been to other, larger cities (to dog shows of course) and seen it still playing in many places..grrrrr

WHOOO HOOOO look at me, Im flying! post #90!!!!!

bluejeanbaby - August 24, 2004 11:51 PM (GMT)
I saw it six times!! It's hard to find it theaters here (and this is a big city) so it may no longer be playing. Everytime I saw it, I enjoyed it more and more.

And yes, Dacry I know what you mean. That's how I felt after the first time I saw it. (Which I have to tell you was a bit of a disappointment after waiting in line, in costume, for over 6 hours!)

darcyblack - August 25, 2004 03:45 AM (GMT)
Awww....I want to get a costume and wait for......something......

Anora - August 25, 2004 07:42 PM (GMT)
hmmm me thinks it might be time to give a visit to good ole Texas..havent been in several years, after all.....lol hmmm driving...14 hours or so to see Harry Potter POA again ...think that might need to go on the YKYATHPW thread.....course....could make a big HP meet up thing with others and get to meet Darcy..even if shes not a real Hogwarts student cuz shes not in Ravenclaw...lol

:pokeytorcher: :P :blue: :winky:

darcyblack - August 25, 2004 08:50 PM (GMT)

bluejeanbaby - August 26, 2004 11:33 PM (GMT)
Obviously Darcy, you and I think alike, as you already know, if you've read and/or are going to be reading in another thread.

If we could all meet up, that would be SO much fun!!

bluejeanbaby - September 2, 2004 03:55 AM (GMT)
Laz's husband, who is in Korea at the moment, has a burned copy of PoA and he's going to be burning me a DVD of it, so when I come back from Arizona in a few weeks, I'll be able to watch it whenever I want to. :D  :hyper:

:blue:

darcyblack - September 3, 2004 06:27 AM (GMT)
I just found out that a girl that I work with has a hot copy of PoA....I'm gonna see if she can make me a copy!!!!

bluejeanbaby - September 11, 2004 12:56 AM (GMT)

bluejeanbaby - September 12, 2004 12:29 AM (GMT)
I owe my corruption to my soulmate, Bert. We met in highschool and it was all down hill from there.

darcyblack - September 12, 2004 10:20 PM (GMT)
I'm not diggin' on the idea of waiting until NEXT NOV. for us to get together....I think we should shoot for late spring/early summer.......hopefully HBP will come out before the movie, and we can meet for that!

bluejeanbaby - September 12, 2004 11:46 PM (GMT)
Ooh, that'd be so cool and even dorkier than meeting for the movie release!

"Ailene, why are you going to Texas?"

"My friends form the internet and I are meeting there. It's the most central location for all of us to meet."

"Oh. How did all of you meet?"

"Through a Harry Potter discussion board." *duh*

"Are they younger than you?"

"No, we're the Pervy Old Ladies Club, cause we're, like, in love with the kids in those moives and all of us are at least in our twenties."

"Oh, are you all meeting up for the release of the new movie?"

"No. That isn't released until November 18th. We're meeting up because the Half Blood Prince is being released." *dummy*

"The what?"

"The Half Blood Prince, you know, book six in the series?" *Helloooo*

"You're going half way across the country for the release of a book?"

"Not just any book. Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince. We're going to meet up a few days beforehand, watch all three DVD's, and then get in line really early, dressed up in costume of course, for the midnight release." (very proud here)

"And you're how old?"

"Twenty-two." (that's how old i'll be when it's released) *mumbled*

That is exacty how the conversation would go.

LOL!!!!!!!!!!!! :laughstars: :lolstars: :lolstars: :lolstars: :lolstars:

I know what you mean!!! But, hey! Think of it this way.....Austin is one of the coolest cities to party in! PLUS----FREE ROOMING WITH DARCY!!!
People laugh at the costumes, but BELIEVE me, guys dig the naughty school girl outfit. *Darcy points around the room at Blue, Anora, and Lyl* 'Cause we ALL know that, at our age, that's really what these costumes are! :P
