Title: Paperback Adult versions

Do you think that JKR will have the paperback adult editions here in the US? I'd love for that to happen, but I can only find it on amazon.co.uk and amazon.ca. :(

I sure hope that they will branch out...those books are $10-$15 a pop if you buy them from the UK and that doesn't even count shipping and handling. Eeks!

Well just a question and a thought...:)

If she doesn't I will most likely buy the UK versions anyway. I'm eventually going to be buying the UK versions of all the books anyway. I think for those I'm going to wait until all of them are released and I can buy them in one set, as hardbacks of course.

I don't want to pay a load for the ones I'm gonna write in ya know.

^__^ Oh well.

bluejeanbaby - July 1, 2004 04:39 AM (GMT)
I know. That's why I only write in my paperback ones.

You didn't know that I write in my HP books? I do. It's quite uesful and I have a HP Sleuths Offical Memeber Card as well.

I need a life or a boyfriend or a bad habit or something....

What exactly do you write? I've thought of making notes such as underlining things that I don't what to forget....things that I think might be clues. Is that it?

Where do you get all of these cards, Blue?????

I buy A LOT of HP stuff!!

And I make comments on things, underline stuff I think is or could be important, I let my dirty mind wander, you know, it's just like a college book, but HP.

wonders to self if Blue would loan out these....commented upon books..like to see the facinating wonders that lie within the great Blue...LOL :winky:

bluejeanbaby - September 12, 2004 01:23 AM (GMT)
I will bring all of them when we meet. You can read my comments. Not all of them are THAT dirty.

Dirty comments??? Didn't think about that.......here I was being like a school girl and only underlining things for research....... :P

bluejeanbaby - September 13, 2004 12:28 AM (GMT)
Oh, I do that too. But with some things, like the broom polishing kit, I just can't let it go. I ran across one of my faves, if not my fave of all time, yesterday. It's Draco proclaiming to Umbridge that he got slashed by a hippogriff. hehehehe

What kind of research? Where we can take the plot and turn it into a fanfic but more of a p0rn0grafic fanfic? Like the part in POA where Wood goes and hits the showers alone after they loose the quiditch match due to Dementors...:D

bluejeanbaby - September 13, 2004 02:21 AM (GMT)
Kind of, yeah. I do it mostly so when I get in a debate with someone about things, I can back up my argument. Like when I argued that Hagrid was a Slytherin. I had damn good evidence that he was, and had convinced several other people about this until JKR said in an interview that Hagrid used to be a Gryffindor.

darcyblack - September 13, 2004 02:46 AM (GMT)
LOL!!! What were you using to back that up?

bluejeanbaby - September 13, 2004 03:00 AM (GMT)
I don't even remember. A lot of stuff from CoS. I'd have to pull out my copy to look it up again.

I'm SOOO being like you right now! I take OotP with me to work and read it when we are slow.....which is all the time. I'm underlining all kinds of stuff. And reviewing for a book club that I'm in on another site! I think about you from time to time and wonder what I'm missing that Miss Blue has marked! :P

bluejeanbaby - September 15, 2004 12:10 AM (GMT)
When we meet, I'll bring all of my books, all marked, so you all can read what I've written.

very cool! That will give us something to do if we are going to be waiting in lines for movie or book depending.

Whoo hoo...just thinking about meeting up with you two.....I swear...we are gonna have a BLAST! Blue, do you think you could make the trip to TX for the HBP 's release? I wish we had a better idea for a time frame, ya know?

bluejeanbaby - October 14, 2004 12:23 AM (GMT)
I would love to, but I don't know....

darcyblack - October 20, 2004 01:27 AM (GMT)
