So let's do some speculation.
I think I know how Ron is going to die. He's gonna die saving Hermione. From what I don't know.
Anyone else got some ideas?

I'm not 100% sure that Ron will die, but I think that it is possible. In fact, I think that, of the trio, Harry is the most likely to die. But, having said that, I don't cling to the theory that Harry will die.

People that I DO think will die:
Dumbledore --- highly, HIGHLY likely
At least one Weasley (Bill, I think)
Maybe Neville
DA members (aside from the Trio)
Wormtail will die in protection/in place of Harry (I cling HARD to this theory)
Of course, the Dark Lord will die at Harry's hand

I don't think Dumbledore will be cuz he's Harry's "link" to the past for the most part. Unless you want to go with Dumbledore being like Obi-wan.

Yes I believe that you're dead on with the Wormtail saving Harry deal!

Of course more muggles will die.

What about Snape? Will Voldie ever find out? You know because of seeing through Harry's eyes?

Oh and some house elves cuz ya know...yeah I think that S.P.E.W. will become part of things. They will rise against Voldie with the help of Hermione.

Um....I think that Snape could die, but I don't really think that he will. I don't know. There are certain people that I see left behind to "pick up the pieces". Snape, Lupin and Minerva are some of those that I see.
Still, though, I think that if Harry lives Dumbledore will die. Call me strange, but I really think that is what is going to happen. I don't have any backing for it, though. Just a gut feeling.

Well I think that maybe we should start a list of all the people that we know will survive. Cuz that's more than obvious...or is it? I don't know, but we've gotta look for clues by rereading book 5 if you can with stand it.

I just finished re-reading it. Grrrr.....It's taxing to the soul, that one.

I think that Snape, Lupin, Minerva and the trio will live. Outside of that, I'm not sure.

Snape may come out barely alive and same with Lupin. Minerva will play peace keeper. ;p or is that the makings for the ultimate HP threesome-ship?

I'm not going to say who's going to live or die. It's too difficult for me to guess and really, just too darn depressing.

Nope, I'd be fine with her living a long life of suffering.

I don't like to think about who is going to die, but I don't think that it could get any worse than losing my Sirius. :(

It could worse than Sirius, Darce. Draco could die. Ron could die. Snape could die. Hagrid could die. Fred and George could die. It can always get worse.

In the end of book 4 or the begining of 5 Dumbledore tells Harry that he has "sent Voldemort a servant who is in his debt" referring to Peter going back to Voldy.....I think this is what will save Harry....in the end, however it works out....Peter will die to save Harry. Altho even Dan Radcliffe when asked feels his character will be the one who dies...I disagree....all based on that one statement by Dumbley and I may be off, but I just dont think JK will kill him off. Not Harry. If one of the trio dies, I think it will be Ron...altho I dearly love Ron and it will kill me.....IF one of them dies, I just feel it will be him.
I cried like a baby when she killed Sirius, I swear..... as for adults who may get the axe..I really dunno, except maybe Dumbley....I can see a big tense ending where Peter saves Harry, dies himself and Dumbley is mortally injured in the battle...during his death scene, he is able to just get in all those parting bits of wisdom and final facts Harry needs to know, about wizarding, about his parents and the remaining family he may or may not have left. I do wonder about the prospect of Sirius finding a way back..maybe in Dumbleys passing he helps him back, or....????? I dunno.
Anyway...those are my thots....

Dumbledore will die.
If any of the Trio dies it will (most likely) be Harry....HOWEVER....
I don't think that Harry will die.
Peter WILL die.....no doubt.

I just can't handle it if Snape or Lupin dies.............

Nothing can be worse then Sirius' disappearance, except for maybe Lupin's.

Yes, well, I kinda hope Lucius dies, he is a pr*ck, and Wormtail didn't deserve to be set free by Harry ... but I hope no-one else dies in the next book ...

I hope that a lot of the Death Eaters die cuz it's supposed to be the worst punishment...or worst thing. Maybe there will be a way to kill the dementors? Patronus Charm only rids them away.

Snape will die. I have my reasonings behind it. It says in the GoF where Voldie says stuff about his Death Eaters.

Oh and that also means Kakarforf will return to voldie, but he'll be severely punished.

Oh, I think that Snape will die, but not until book 7. I think his role is too important for him to be killed in book 6. We still have too much information that we need to find out about him.

As far as your theory, Lyl, from GoF, I have it marked in my book as well. I know where you're coming from.

I'm working on my reread of OotP as we speak looking for any clues as to new deaths. We might want to look at anything Professor Trelawny says in OotP remember what she said about the first one to leave the table of 13 will die. Sirius did. So why not relook at that one. :) See who left the table first that night in GoF.

Those are just some ideas. Sometimes that bitty old woman is right, ya know.

I do believe that Ron was first to leave the table. Him and Harry and if Harry is going to die, it won't be until book 7.
