My mom went to the emergency room today. She has been numb on her right side for 2 days, She's had a cat scan and a blood test, the doctor said she might have MS, or she might of had a stroke.
Pray for her.

She came home today. She had a rare minor senseory stroke, but we also found out she has diabetes. So she's going to have to go on a diet. But I think most of the drama is over. Thank you all for your support.

It's great to hear she's out of hospital! I hope she gets better soon. And the Diabetes, is it diet-controlled? Or is it insulin-dependant? Whichever it is, I'm sure she'll fight it!

Coming in on this late I know, but OMG Wendy...hope your mom is all over this mess and doing very well by now. My mom is diabetic too..is able to manage hers with RX (pills) and diet and exercise. Just have to keep on her to remember to check her blood sugar everyday..she forgets!
