Hi everybody,
I've just come back from a different discussion with other people who said that Emma Watson (Hermione Granger) only got chosen to play the role of Hermione because she looked like her.
Does anybody agree with that?

No, I don't think so. She doesn't look much like I pictured Hermione anyway. Her hair is just not bushy enough. And her front teeth aren't big! :rolleyes:

I agree with Wendy. I think that Emma is too pretty to look like Hermione but she brings Hermione's fierce tenacity to the screen so well. I like Emma a lot, I just wish that the hair and make-up people wouldn't have her look so pretty.

I dont agree. Everytime i read the Harry Potter books i watch the movie in my head happen and can only imagine the stars that play them... I always pictured hermione the way emma plays. im so jealous of that girl! <_<

I totally agree about her whole looks things. I think she is too girly in the movies. Also, I don't think she is as good an actress and Tom and Rupert. It may just be because she really hasn't had her chance to shine yet, (I mean she spent almost half CoS petrified) but I hope we can see more of her talent in the third movie.

Thanks for not mentioning Dan in that sentence, but I agree. She's a good actress, but still not... I don't know. She could probably act circles around me though.

I dunno, i do agree that she is way to pretty in the movies. She is an ok actress..i mean she did an ok job when she was crying and stuff when Malfoy called her a mudblood..but, i dunno...

I watched like the last half hour of CoS on Miramax last night and the only saving grace was Dumbledore. Every single time I see Dan he annoys me even more.

Yeah..I totally agree with that. Her hair should be really bushy. And I personally think hermione isn't that pretty. :)

i agree she dont look a lot like her but shes close and you know what i heard in briton the books of harry potter are different and this is a britiush movie so maybe they nailed her appearance in the british book....but i think emma watson is hot in the third movie she wore jeans and this really cool shirt
