What is your favorite song?
I love Hold on, by Good Charlotte, and anything by the Beatles. :band:

"I can only imagine" - Mercy Me & "Teenage Drama Queen (lol, it's true)" - Lindsey Lohan

Cho Chang - February 24, 2004 02:58 AM (GMT)
Clock's by Coldplay and CRAWLING by linkin park!
Hermes - February 24, 2004 03:42 AM (GMT)
At the moment it is "The Wine Song" by the C@ Empire. (They are an Aussie group, so you Oversea-ers prolly wouldn't know about them!)
lil_miss_grint - February 24, 2004 05:49 AM (GMT)
My fave song is Hey ya by outkast :D
(i know who the cat empire is ^_^ )i'm aussie :eyebrows:
bluejeanbaby - February 26, 2004 03:58 AM (GMT)
I don't think that I can answer this question. My favorite song is always changing. It mostly depends on what's going in my life and what kind of mood I'm in. But if you were to hold me down and stick a red hot poker over my eye, I would most likely say "Imagine" by John Lennon (may he RIP).

Yes, I'm the same as Blue, I can never answer this question! At the moment it is probably a Good Charlotte song, I'm just in that mood, but I can't listen to my CD because I've lent it to someone and they've been ill so they haven't given it back yet! :P
Hermes - March 4, 2004 02:54 AM (GMT)
I love anything Rock, so Evanescence, Linkin Park, Metallica, etc. Anything with a good beat!
bluejeanbaby - March 4, 2004 03:13 AM (GMT)
Definitely anything by Linkin Park, anytime.

rupert4eva - March 7, 2004 07:18 AM (GMT)
Yeah, the Maroon 5 and Nicklback songs you chose are cool, but not that high on my list at the moment. :D
bluejeanbaby - March 8, 2004 12:53 AM (GMT)
Anything by Maroon 5 is awesome! That CD is just like pure sex if you listen to the lyrics. Especially number 9, Secret, with the lyrics:
Cool these engines
Calm these jets
I ask you how hot can it get
And as you wipe of beads of sweat
Slowly you say "I'm not there yet!"
*fans self*

Ok, Ailsa, you like Linkin Park, but not Evanescence? How come? Anyway, I love "Hello" by Evanescence at the moment.
bluejeanbaby - March 8, 2004 04:29 AM (GMT)
Cam, are you asking me? If you are, it's basically because I can't stand Amy Lee's voice. It just doesn't, I don't know. It's just ...

Yes, I was asking you. Do you like my new nickname for you? (I got it off a TV show over here called "Home and Away"!) Well, at least you have a reason. Honestly, her voice sends shivers down my spine, and good ones, not ones that make my skin crawl. And also, I don't listen to the voice, I listen to the words. I guess I am a music lover, but I wouldn't put my ear to the keyhole if I heard a soprano in the shower!
darcyblack - August 19, 2004 05:40 PM (GMT)
I LOVE Evanescence. There's not a song on their album that I don't like.
I also really like Five for Fighting. But I don't know much of their stuff.
Metallica, of course, always and forever. Same for G n R!
Fav song of all time....too hard....one of my top 10 would be Stay by Lisa Loeb.
Anora - August 24, 2004 02:07 AM (GMT)
I have been thinking about this subject since I first saw it several days ago and I still havent come up with just one song..guess even tho Im old Im not so different in that respect. lol
I love God Bless the USA by Lee Greenwood, it is one of my all time favorites forever and ever.
I like Toby Keiths *Whiskey for my men, beer for my horses*, *Whos your daddy*, and just mostly anything hes done, really! BIG FAN!!!
Of course Keith Urbans *Who wouldnt wanna be me* and also many others of his...like him alot
But I also like Usher, I love Train and ...a whole bunch of folks whose names I dont even know, lol
bluejeanbaby - August 24, 2004 11:30 PM (GMT)
Darce, you like Evanescence, really? I thought that you had good taste in music my friend.
I still stick with "Imagine" by John Lennon. The leaders of the world should sit down with pen and paper and take a good hard listen to that song.

I love them!!!! Perhaps you don't like them, 'cause of your lack of interest in the hard rock/metal genre. I think that they are a fabulous blend! That's ok, I still like ya... :P j/k
Anora, I also like God Bless the USA by Lee Greenwood. Great song. Makes me cry.
Anora - August 25, 2004 07:32 PM (GMT)

I happen to love rock/metal, just not Evanescence. I, personally, think that it's music for angsty twelve year olds. I have to say that Linkin Park is better and if you want to listen to music for angst, may I suggest Radiohead.

darcyblack - August 26, 2004 04:00 AM (GMT)
I'm not looking just for angst (though, I do like both bands you mentioned). I'm looking for musically quality, breaking new ground artistically....
bluejeanbaby - August 26, 2004 11:38 PM (GMT)
I just never really liked them and I love giving the people that like them a hard time. :P
I still contest however that Linkin Park is better than Evanescene. Always will be too.

You have a right to your opinion....even if it is wrong.....
No, siriusly (I never spell that work correctly any more.....), I do admit that Linkin Park is a very good band.
bluejeanbaby - August 27, 2004 02:18 AM (GMT)
Linkin Park has a special place in my heart because Hybrid Theory came out at a time in my life where, when I listened to it, I swear they had written every single thing that I had been trying to say and just couldn't. I love that CD!

Summer of '69......it takes me back.....
Anora - August 28, 2004 06:44 PM (GMT)

I also like Norah Jones....like everything that comes out of her mouth is a wonder! lol
bluejeanbaby - August 29, 2004 10:07 PM (GMT)
I can't stand Norah!! Not her lyrics or her music, just her voice!! It really just, me.
I love Summer of '69!! Everytime that song comes on, I turn it up and sing along with EVERY word he sings!!

I have discovered I have very diverse taste in music. For example ( I sound like Hermione, lol) yesterday on my way to work I put in a Tim McGraw cd and listened to a few songs, then took that out and put in my soundtrack from Queen of the Dammed..my favs are by Disturbed....very different than Tim McGraw, thats for certain!!! LOL
Fawkes_the _Phoenix - September 1, 2004 10:14 PM (GMT)
My favourite song right now is Stay together for the kids by Blink 182, i love that song :D
Anora - September 2, 2004 12:27 AM (GMT)
I am wishing I knew the names of more groups and the names of the songs they do that I like. Since I am so hearing impaired tho..mostly I hear them singing or talking and unless I have seen the words somewhere, I dunno what they are saying. Sometimes I will know a song for years and just never occurs to me to really find out what they are saying...then I wonder or can be watching tv and I see the words there (I use captioning) and Im like..no way, THATS what they are saying? LOL
Fawkes_the _Phoenix - September 2, 2004 01:24 AM (GMT)
^^ lol I do that sometimes. Well I actually have a few favourites really, i like wonderwall from oasis and all the songs from Silverchair.
bluejeanbaby - September 2, 2004 03:49 AM (GMT)
One of my all time fave songs is "In Your Eyes" by Peter Gabriel. I melt every time I hear that song.

darcyblack - September 3, 2004 06:25 AM (GMT)

bluejeanbaby - September 3, 2004 02:11 PM (GMT)
Oh, I remember Silverchair, . Neon Ballroom is one of the best CD's I've ever heard.

Fawkes_the _Phoenix - September 3, 2004 07:15 PM (GMT)

bluejeanbaby - September 3, 2004 08:05 PM (GMT)

Fawkes_the _Phoenix - September 3, 2004 08:08 PM (GMT)
