Umbridge is so evil I just want to do this to her: :pokeytorcher: :fish: ! Voldemort is evil too, and at the moment Fudge really annoys me. Percy's being not very nice as well, but I think Umbridge and Voldemort for me!

If my book wasn't so precious to me, and I had more than one copy, I would have probably ripped the entire book apart.

Umbridge is actually one of the main reasons why I haven't been able to successfully reread OotP (that and the book is so freakin' heavy to carry around).

Okay, I kind of liked Umbridge. I'm not saying that I would like her in RL, but her character is amazing! I mean, JKR did a wonderful job of writing her.

But I HATE Wormtail. He was a traitor. I hate traitors. I also don't like Fudge.

I love Umbridge for the same reason Rae. JKR did such an awesome job of characterizing every child's nightmare of the teacher from hell.

I hate Umbridge of course...she reminds me of my 6th grade Math teacher. I hate Fudge even worse. ...but I dont hate Voldie, I mean he is evil and he killed Harry's parents, but....I dunno i don't hate him .

I don't hate Voldie either, I'm jsut scared of him, as silly as that may sound.

Umbridge is the only one I hate- she's the only one who doesn't have a backstory to explain why she's such a poop. She's just plain.

Fudge I can forgive, for now, because he's just a bumbling fool.
Percy... well there's more to dear perc than meets the eye...
Voldie is just totally an angsty kid who couldn't figure out how to deal with facts about himself and his family that he didn't like. I mean, plenty of normal, happy, decent people come from "broken" homes - he just wasn't strong enough to figure out how to be a good person in spite of all that. So I don't hate Riddle, I just pity him.
Now Lockheart... UGHHHHH!!!!! grr, I hate that he was such a sneaky liar!

I don't really hate any of the characters though Percy is realy getting on my nerves. Escpecially in the fourth book! How dare he say things like

I don't hate Percy. I don't like him very much at the moment, and I think that he is being a total wan*er, but whatever.

Umbridge I hate so much that I actually cross her name out of my paperback with a pencil as I read it.

Umbridge is the only one I can see hating..its like someone else said...Voldy may be evil, but its poor Tom Riddle , after all.... flipping crazy wacked out umbridge just shows up all p/o'd with a nasty attitude and wrecks havoc on everything. Percy...well poor Percy.....he is an "insufferable know-it-all" but I agree....there is more to him than meets the eye, and he will come around.

I think that you can only have true hatred for a character if you dislike them from the getgo.

Percy, most people liked until book four. Voldemort, I never liked. Umbridge I always hated.

I think that, in HBP, Percy will either redeem himself or completely go bad.............we shall see.........

I hate Wormtail more than I hate her. I mean he told Voldemort where the Potter's were! I mean how low can you get? Not much lower than that.

After reading the end Umbridge cannot be that bad. SNAPE is the real prat!

I hate that she did what she did in the manner in which she did it and then just ended the book. We have to wait for two more years for the final installment??? Argh!
