rupert4eva - March 14, 2004 08:51 AM (GMT)
:lolstars: Ok, if you say so but I don't really get what lots of people think is so great about England, I mean I know that most if not all the HP cast is British, but apart from that... ?
bluejeanbaby - March 14, 2004 08:49 PM (GMT)
It all has to do with the excitement of living somewhere forgein and exotic Jenny. It's just mainly because we don't live there that we think you're lucky, just like many who don't live in the US think that it's a great place to live.

I'm from Tucson, Arizona (US Southwest), although I just moved to San Diego. (It's kind of cold here for my tastes - I'm used to June temperatures of 114+!)
In one year I'm moving to Okinawa, Japan. Woo!! Sunny beaches!
England would be cool, but I CANNOT put up with the cold! Ugh! I hear it snows there... I've seen snow a few times, and I hated it! Bleahhhh!
And yeah, there really are tumbleweeds in the roads in tucson. :)

*Darcy does a line dance*
Nope, we don't all ride horses and have oil wells---just most of us. And, yes, most all of us have guns.
I went to London once and I was asked those three questions just about everytime I told someone where I was from.
Although, I did live in NC for the last four years.....just recently moved back to TX.

I DO know those places...my all time fav place there however will always be San Antonio..that is the best place, I just LOVE the Riverwalk , that little boat ride all lit up with music thru the mall and everything..hmmm that was sooo cool.

I don't think that I'll ever want to live in Texas. I don't want to live in San Diego my entire life though. Not having any money to live anywhere sucks!

darcyblack - August 21, 2004 04:16 AM (GMT)

Who ho, post #85!!
Have you ever been to any of the southern states? I mean really, it is NOT for everyone...but I am still amazed by the sheer vastness of the wilderness areas and I just LOVE all the trees.Behind my house..my backyard is made up or about 400 acres..of NOTHING..it is trees with several clearing type areas...I get wild turkey (the animals, NOT the drink, LOL) Golden Eagles (that will make you bring your little dogs in, I guarantee you that, seeing those flying around your yard!) all manor of Hawks and birds of prey, nearly every type Owl imaginable, deer and raccons and oppossums, coyotes, wolves, bobcat, black panther and many more critters, it is SIRIUSLY wild. Honestly...I have never *smelled* a state that smelled as good as MS..maybe it is all the blooming trees and fresh clean air....we have tons of Magnolia trees, Wisteria vines, wildflowers and just TONS of blooming foiliage and I tell ya, driving down the road on a nice spring day with the windows down..it is like walking thru a florists shop, I kid you not! (well depending on where you are, driving thru a major city like..Memphis TN or something...you wont get the same experience....but where I live..mostly trees and stuff....we dont even have buildings over 2 stories here (for all you big city folks, I know that must be a shocker, lol) But my *downtown mainstreet area*..... really is a mainstreet...as in singluar.. its only 1 street and only about 4 blocks long, total, :-)
