I make good poems!Besides it give people of the forum a chance to express themselves.this is a poem I just made up:
In the darkness,I find myself wandering hopelessly around trying to find shelter for it will rain soon.The sounds of nature aren't very friendly,as the wolves howl.Finally,I find a small cave to rest my head.I make a small fire to warm myself,for I was very cold.Suddenly,I here a loud thummp toward the back of the cave.I know I shouldn't go lurking to see what it was,but it seemed as if the sound was drawing me closer.Then,in the mist of a pond,in the pouring rain was a man.His eyes gleamed brightlly as the fire I had.He spoke,"come."At first,I didn't want to,but willingly I did.He saw that I was wounded and he asked me my name."Serenity."Then,all of a sudden,he grabbed me and we flew off into rain.This kinda sounds like a story,right?

to be betrayed by the lies i've been told
and left to die.
i try to move on i try to be bold
but as hard as i try...
it seems no use anymore...
so i look twards the sky...
no one to hear my dreadfull plea...
no one to hear my cry.

it's a poem i wrote when i was feeling sad and lonely...all summer i was alone with no friends.

in your socks or in your hair.
talking ducks and flying pans
evil lepricauns with twelve hands
coconuts doing the disco, an evil chimp named montey fisco.
wallas and gromit, sunny and shere.
randomness is everywere!
asparagus warriors, elaphant seals
a potatoe in your fishing reel.
grape jelly between your toes
a jersey cow in your nose.
now come here you will feel no pain.
there is no escape give us your brains.

this poem is so random it's painfull, but in a good way.

yeah. my poetry usualy rymes cause i find it more challenging. but i can write it easily when i don't have to think of rymes...

upon my moonlit shadow i see nothing but an empty reflection.
how much regret can my tattered soul take?
my tears are like a river, setting me adrift....away...into the loneliness.
corrupted by a darkened soul to taint the purity of other hearts...
what do i live for now? am i really...worthless?

same here. i agree with nari. i cant even write poetry for english class.

i wish i could write poetry in class. all we do in poetry class is sit and study poetry. we never get to make poetry for our own. *sigh* if my teacher saw my poetry.
i'd get an A for sure...

well all we do in english class is just reading school books, writing essays, poems and short stories. and my teacher said that it was fun. well i share the opposite of that. T_T

sometimes i can write poems but never when it's assigned for english class it clogs up my creativity.

yeah i hate teachers like that...they piss me off...one time this one evil math teacher (thank god i'm not smart enough to be in her class) she gave her kids 16 pages of math homework...it was torture for her class...never have i been so thankful to be dumb...

yeah only the grade level students are split into different classes for math. the lower one, for people who ain't that smart (which i'm in :P) then there's the meduim class for people who can do math pretty well. then theres the superior math class that's like full of super math genuises! but the people in the middle class are taught by the evil slavedriver teacher...i'm in the low class and i don't get much homework.
yay for being bad at math!!!
