Title: Gnoblars For Goblins?

Brunth - May 17, 2008 04:19 AM (GMT)
I really like the Orc & Goblin style of play. However I greatly dislike all their gobbo models. I do however, love the gnobos. I was wondering if it would be tournement leagal to substitute regular gobblins for Gnoblars. I'd like to keep them naked or with just spears to keep them cheap.

Why not? As far as I know, if they are GW models they should be accepted. This is exactly like people doing conversions or count as army.

If you intend on using them as common goblins, I would say go for it!

I've already been using the "pimp" gnoblar trapper with the big fur coat as my goblin warboss. The gnoblar models are infinitely better than the common goblin models, so as long as you paint them a brighter shade of green than is traditional for gnoblars I don't think anyone would complain.

I'm planning on using Gnoblars for both armies (whenever I get around to buying an O+G army). Fantastic substitutes as you suggest, except for Night Gobbos.

Yup.... Sounds just fine to me, too. I think I'd actually prefer the Gnobbies over the Gobbos.
