Title: MURASAMA
Description: A naruto Fanfiction
Mahajarah - February 26, 2008 10:30 PM (GMT)
COMMENT ABOUT THE FAN FICTION HERE, NOT IN THIS THREAD.This isn't like other fanfictions. In reality, this takes place after the series ends, so minor spoilers. Naruto, sasuke, Sakura, Orichimaru, and majority of the Naurto origonal staff will either NOT take place here, or will not play a major role in the story. The only people SO far that WILL make an appearance is...
Kakashi...
And that's it, so if you're expecting a typical fan fiction that is esentially someone writing in themselves as a ninja into the naruto fan line... Yoy're wrong.
I plan on this being a true Novel: over 50,000 words. And so far I have 10,000 in total, and that's the first two chapters.

Chapter 0
Rain. Tons of it. Torrents of it fell upon the open feild, almost flooding the newly dug plot, if there wasn't a drainage pump in place along with a few mist ninja's using Siphon jutsu's to remove the water from the now murky 6 foot hole.
It almost seemed fitting, the weather did. Once more, a hokage.. was being buried, but no normal one either. Not even Fire fox's burial was this sad. Then again, Fire fox didn't take down the fox demon, and orrichimaru, OR the remaining uchia threat. He also wasn't 15 either.
Kakashi stared down the hole. His trust mask was at his side along with his rented tux from the clothing store just across what WAS naruto's favorite ramen shop was. "Perhaps we should call it off. Wait until this storm clears?" Asked Ino. As much as she hated Sakura, she had to show up.
"No. Any longer and they'll start to rot. Even chakra and formalihdye can't work miracles. Now or never." Stated the hearse driver. Along Sakura's coffin, open, was her parent's, cring their eyes out over their only child's demise. The father was on his knee's, sobbing almost to the point of nausea.
It was a rather fine mess, Sakura killing Naruto, sauske, Garra, Orrichimaru, and Itachi. When her dark side took over, many things that should have happened a long time ago happened. Incidentally, people embraced her for it, naming her the new honorary, and youngest, Hogake. Alas, this position didn't last long.
Only 2 weeks later, her own personal body guards found her lying in a yellowish pool of her own vomit. No amount of charka infusion helped. They had to resort to the only other thing left... A hospital.
And even then, they couldn't do much. The Mixture of internal illnesses had already taken their toll. Meningitis, along with organ failure due to the erratic flow of chakra her evil side had released, had claimed the better part of her health. They claimed the young girl slowly, painfully, and messily died, the nurses claiming to have to clean up bloody vomit as certain points. One even said she asked her to pull her plug, albeit that was more than likely a lie as she was in no condition to talk.
That was some time ago. She officially died 9:52 am, saturday.
Kakashi was grateful for his mask, as if he didn't have it on, everyone could see his true face. Sad and quivering. Even he didn't see this coming... or at least didn't want too. No matter what they did, a young girl never deserves death.
He dug in his pocket, and pulled out 2 objects. A ball of pink hair, gathered after the Chunin fights, and his own copy of Jermiah's Make-out paradise, which for a while now had lost it's flair and appeal. Everything had.
"I believe this is yours." Kakashi calmly said, almost choking it out. He Threw the hair into the plot. The hair scattered around messily.
Of course, nothing happened, albeit he half expected something to happen. Hope seemed to be elsewhere today.
"Well, It's getting colder, let's get this over with." Jerimiah interjected hastily, as if the attack the sadness that had struken the land.
Foot by foot, the coffin moved towards the now almost dry plot, gliding on a curtain of dirt. Even a sand ninja decided to 'help' out, even if she took out one of their strongest ninjas. After all, she didn't know what had truely happened.
It fell to the bottom slowly and sand begin to seal around it, filling the hole. A few Genin was holding back her mother, litteraly clawing her way to the now filled grave screaming "No," and "Why her?"
It only took a few hours for everyone to spread out.
The only thing left of the day was a fresh grave next to 2 other ones, along with a single grave stone.
HERE LIES...
NARUTO UZAMAKI
SAUSKE UCHIA
SAKURA HARUNO
It almost seemed an insult to what was arguable one of the better Genin squads out here.
"How goes the capital?" Asks the sand nija, Kraine, lighting a cigarette.
"Better. Ever since Lord garra's clone was initiated, it's been doing well, and his sand demon has been partially sealed away. He is so far, under complete control." stated the other sand operative, Nameless under request.
"I guess we aren't getting paid for this sh*t, are we?"
"Guess not." Procraimed the nameless one, standing up off the tombstone he was perched on.
"Let's start heading back. It'll be awhile before the crusade officially starts."
-------------------------------------------------------------
3 years later...
-------------------------------------------------------------
"WHAT THE F*CK!"
An emormous explosion racked the small woods.
Ixen stood, almost engulfed in flames.
Genrin stood up, half his body burned away.
"Dude it's not that bad!" Protested the purple haired man.
"LIKE HELL IT IS!" Cursed the Flame ninja, pointing at the sign that said, "Murasama"
"We agreed that it would be an etch of a katana with a dragon wraped around it!" Cheerfully explaimed Genrin, who was beggining to regrow his flesh back, an innate ability of his.
"Asshole! We specifically agree that it would be black, not chinesse red... do you ever f*cking Listen?" Ixen barked, a vein on his forehead throbbing.
Genrin smiled and said, "Well, aren't we a grumpy gus?!"
This issued another flame blast.
"WOULD YOU 2 FREAKING SHUT IT UP!" Explaimed a feminine voice from inside the 3 story mansion.
Ixen froze.
Genrin got up and shouted "HE STARTED IT!"
A window promtly open and a lighting bolt shot out at genrin, almost hitting him. Genrin's arm flailed as he fell over backwards onto his ass.
"NO DAMN EXCEPTIONS."
Genrin blinked.
"Must be in a bad mood today." He muttered.
He then noticed Ixen scorching the newly built sign so the dragon had varied degrees of char so that the red actually form a snake like pattern.
"I could have gotten our money back." Stated the Regenitive Ninja.
"Shut up before we find out what you CAN'T grow back." Snapped ixen.
Genrin got up, shrugged, and promtly brushed himself off.
"You ca..." Started Genrin, before stopping and perking up.
"What's the matter now, Dipshit?" Genrin didn't respond and he glanced to the woods behind him nervously.
Ixen's face changed from pissed to curious.
"Okay, what's nearby, and how strong is it?" Asked Ixen, forgeting about the now non-important sign. He was finshed anyway.
"Not sure. Seems to be a woman of some kind. Young. 17. Bloodsoaked, Se..."
But he didn't finish, or Ixen didn't hear him, rather.
Ixen hopped off the ladder he was on when he heard the word bloodsoaked, and ran onto a path that had been cleared a few days ago by his hand.
It didn't take long to find the crimson soaked blond either, crying her eyes out, limping her way across the path.
She didn't say anything for as soon as ixen ran to her, sword drawn, she fainted.
"Holy shit." Cursed ixen, withdrawing his sword. He saw that it was a civilian, and not another assassin sent to try and take them down again... Which would have REALLY pissed him off as that would have been the 3rd time that week.
he picked up his cell phone and called back to the draconic mansion.
"Hello? Iris? Get here now... Don't argue with me, just do it! ...What?
I DON'T CARE, JUST HURRY AND BRING A FIRST AID KIT!"
He jerked his phone away from his ears, and hung up on the loud audible voice on the other line saying how she was going to gut him in his sleep.
"This is going to be a hell of a day." Proclaimed Ixen, picking up the girl, and starting towards the mansion again.

Chapter 1.
Bright. That was a good description of the room. After all, how could it be nothing else? White paint, light colors, a huge bay window that was illuminating the entire room. It was a Pearl white and she was even surprised she could even sleep in it. Come to think of it, how DID she fall asleep. In fact, how did she even get in this room? Upon thinking for a few minutes, she realized something that was just a little disturbing. This wasn’t her house. None of the picture frames had her in them. None of the objects in this room even had a trace of her on them. Nothing did.
* * * * * * * *
So far nothing could stop the monstrosity. They tried almost every Jutsu they had, and nothing even seemed to make it flinch. It had so far taken out about forty percent of the village population. In one of its three fingered hands it had what remained of a small child. The village protectors, now desperate, were now attempting to use Justus’s that were more suicidal than effective. Of course, they never worked. Nothing seemed too.
The girl layed under wreckage, holding her breath as it walked pasted her, not noticing her laying there. At the right time, she bolted away as fast as she could as it was destroying what used to be the inn. It must have seen her as she felt a huge gust of wind past by her head and then saw what caused it. A flaming ceiling support flew past and the flames licked her face. An inhuman roar echoed as it missed, probably on purpose as it seemed to enjoy fear more than it did carnage.
For miles she had ran from the now destroyed village. She could see the black smoke plume in the sky from where she was, which was impressive. Hard-pressed to be its next victim, she pressed on away from the destruction and mayhem she had barley survived. A day later she was tired and still walking. She saw a figure run towards her with a blade. Too tired to go on, she passed out in fear and fatigue, and she knew no more. She must have been taken up instead of killed, which she was grateful for.
It was about this time that the light flooding into the window began to fade. The room started to dim as a result. Curious about this phenomenon, she wandered towards the plate glass window and glared out. What she saw was a quintessence of beauty. Rugged terrain and forest as far as the eye can see. Aside from the house, this forest seemed to be untouched. Upon looking up, she witnessed a brown and white eagle soaring across the sky. She also realized why the light was fading away. The sun was being overlapped by a dark circular object.
Slowly but surely, it was overtaken by the object, and the stars became visible to the naked eyes when, in reality, it should have been several hours until they would reveal themselves to the world, releasing their beauty for all to see. It should be weeks before the night bleeds into the day, causing confusion around the globe to those that still worshipped the Luna.
Indeed, the Eclipse came early this year. No matter how potent a Premonition Jutsu is, No one or nothing can predict the stars. The sky soon had bore a glowing white circle in the sky. A Rare but Natural birth of nature and space. The moon fully enveloped the sun, flooding the land with darkness, finally killing the last of the rooms light.
The room was dark for a few moments before the light shot on. Apparently, the room had a light sensor in it that turn on the florescent bulb whenever the overall light dimmed. But upon closer inspection, she realized that there would have to be a solar panel of some such in the room and those were never white. And then something not so white caught her eye. In the corner of her eye, she saw a brown haired, pale young woman standing with a bowl of ramen.
She turned around to look at the girl. She looked deep into her Cerulean eyes and saw no foul intention. She sat down onto a leather chair, plush and comfortable. This wasn’t a cheap chair. The woman walked over to the poor thing and offered her the bowl of ramen and chopsticks. It was about this time that she realized she had not eaten all day.
She took the chopsticks and scooped up some noodles. She brought them to her mouth with little to no hesitation. Beef wasn’t her favorite flavor, but that didn’t stop her for enjoying the still succulent noodles. Whoever cooked this apparently knew what they were doing.
“He scared the shit out of you, didn’t he, the bastard,” Said the woman, dressed in a pair of blue jeans and a black T-shirt. Apparently beauty can have a foul mouth.
The girl spit out a little bit of broth. “Yes.” The girl meekly said, obviously frightened and intimidated by the woman’s mouth. That caught the woman’s attention, and she only closed her eyes and smirked.
“Sorry about that,” She said sitting down onto the twin bed inside the room.
“Ixen has a habit of rushing into things head first. That’s how he got that scar on his face,” She recalled.
“Idiot Rushed into a room with a hostage and barely avoided a slash to the face. He couldn’t dodge the backslash though.” The woman Chuckled with Nostalgia as she put her finger to her cheek and ran in across her eye diagonally.
“Oh, he was PISSED. Ended up breaking the person’s nose as he back-handed him.”
The girl, now confused more than frightened, raised her hand as a signal for the women to cease her speech for a few seconds and said hastily,
“Wait, wait, wait, and wait. Ixen? Who is…?” She stared, but not before the woman got a slightly cross look on her face, causing her to stop.
“You know the little shit head. Bee-lined you with a sword?” The Girl scooped up some more noodles and though for a second before remembering THAT little gem.
“Yes…Is he nearby?” “Yes, albeit a little singed.” The woman remarked. “Normally, he doesn’t get an attitude with me, but rece…”
“G*DDAMN IT GENRIN, WHAT THE F*CK DID I TELL YOU ABOUT THAT BURN CREAM?” A rather brisk yell erupted from the west wing of the house.
An awkward silence followed for a few moments afterwards.
“Recently, he’s been a little…Pissy.” The girl cocked her head in confusion, not quite understanding what was going on. “Iris.” The girl got a blank look upon her face.
“Huh?” She questioned. “That’s my name. Iris.” Iris looked at the girl for a few moments, and made a revolving motion with her hand. The girl stared for a few moments before realizing what the motion meant.
“Oh! Sorry! He He!” The girl giggled. “Lily.”

Second
The dark haired man chucked as Genrin pulled himself out of the nice rounded hole in the wall that Ixen sent him though, brushing off some insulation on his shoulder.
“If I don’t treat that, it’s going to start weeping soon. Burns aren’t friendly healers, you know.” The blue haired man commented. He was wearing a grey T-shirt and a pair of worn jeans. He looked like someone in their early 20’s with his soft features and his golden eyes. You could never tell he was actually a few hundred times older than he looked .He was gentle and kind to anyone he met that treated him the same. He had a general knowledge of things that no man living should even know about in the slightest. He also had a very strong respect for life as he knew that at any time, his may be taken.
The man he was addressing, Ixen, Wearing a pair of shredded jeans and a dark red shirt, WAS in his early 20’s, and very lively. His jet black hair had blazing red highlights at the end of his hair, and always remained messy. He also had a slight bit of a temper and tended to be headstrong. Then again, Flame ninja’s have a tendency to be stubborn.
He straightened out his black combat jacket, and stared at genrin with his Dark brown eyes with dark red pupils. “Think I care about a little 3rd degree burn?” The feisty young man snapped. “I’ve had SHIT ton’s worse than this one.” He snarled with ferocity. As any observer could tell, VERY feisty, not to mention he always had something to say about any situation, whether the other people in the room liked it or no
“He’s right, you know.” Commented the older, but still young man in the corner of the room. Ixen glared at the man.
“Jase, Shut your damn know-it-all mouth.” This caused Jase to smile warmly, as if almost amused. His eyes were a warm jade, and his face matched his eyes with soft and warm features that would drive a woman insane; a fitting look for an alchemist and a scholar at any rate. He looked as if he was in his late 20’s but in reality; he was much older, thanks to the elixir of life. Then again, alchemists have a tendency to stay alive longer than any man should.
He was currently reading a book on the underground society of con artists that went into ninjustu sanctuaries and stole tomes of ancient fighting techniques to better further their own means. This wasn’t surprising as any alchemist seeks to expand his already widely known intelligence. This alchemist was special from the others. This one was a smart-ass.
“Know-it-all,” Jase lightly laughed.
“Fine then, how long do you think even WITH your heightened regeneration it will take for that to heal?” He inquired. Ixen smirked arrogantly.
“A few hours at most.” Jase nodded.
“Now, how long do you think it’ll TAKE before that wound becomes too infected for treatment and your arm has to be amputated?” Ixen glared.
“A day.” He spat out, pissed off at the fact that he was probably about to be proven wrong. Jase shook his head, just as he knew he would and nonchalantly said, “30 minutes. Iris nailed your muscle, which tends to heal slowly and not handle infection well.”
Ixen looked at the arm. He then grabbed a glob of lotion and slapped it forcefully on his arm, not even flinched as he rubbed it in violently.
Genrin smirked at this rather grotesque action on his part.
“Well, well. Are we actually LISTENING now,” Laughed the gold eyed man.
Ixen, who was just a ‘little’ angry, looked at genrin and smiled, revealing his teeth. He promptly waved his fingers in a motion similar to the sea. Genrin stopped his laugh and looked perplexedly at Ixen’s waving fingers.
“What’s that?” He asked. Ixen grinned even more, revealing his almost vampiric canines.
“A whole flock of these.” Ixen joyfully remarked as he raised his middle finger at Genrin. Jase snickered, “You’ve been around HOW long and you fell for that?” Genrin’s smile faded and he chucked sarcastically, before suddenly forming a face of surprise. Ixen stopped, and noticed this.
He looked at genrin, and at the door, and saw the 2 women standing here.
“She’s finally gotten the courage to come out.” Jase comment with surprise, still focused on his book. Ixen smiled. He looked at lily warmly, and started to walk towards her. She cringed and started to take a few steps back.
“Chill,” Ixen remarked. “Despite what happened earlier, I’m not going to hurt you.” Ixen said, still walking towards her. Lily looked backwards, and looked forward towards Ixen and started to tear up, as if he meant her harm. Ixen stopped and groaned as if in pain, raising his palm to his face, “Oh god, Please don’t make that face,” Remarked the fire ninja. The young girl looked perplexed at ixen, and shook her head, going back to the frightened look. This caused genrin and Jase to look at lily questioningly.
Jase noticed this change in behavior more in detail than genrin did. The girl was bluffing; there was no doubt in that.
“This girl doesn’t know the law of the world.” Jase thought, marking his book and closing it.
“What is cannot be what isn’t.” He stood up and quickly made a few hand signs with one hand. “You must try better next time,” Remarked Jase.
Lily looked at Jase strangely, and Ixen smirked at lily as he rolled out of her vicinity as Jase yelled, “WATER STYLE: BLIZZARD WHEEL JUSTU!” Lily had no time to react as a Giant spiked wheel of Ice shot towards her. She jumped over it and grabbed a hold of a ceiling beam, something an average young woman would NOT be able to do… unless she was a ninja.
About this time, Ixen had pulled out 3 Kunai and tossed it at her, all of the Kunai Igniting. She kicked aside two of them while the third grazed he face, cauterizing the wound as it went by. The two kunai she kicked not only extinguished, but also hurdled towards jase, who caught both of them with his right hand. Upon catching it, he promptly tossed both of the throwing knifes back at her, this time coated with a pale, white frost.
She quickly slung herself in an arc, landing on a ceiling beam. The kunai hit the other ceiling beam behind her, freezing a good two feet radius where they had impacted. She formed a few hand signs as she jumped to the ground.
The assassin yelled, “EARTH STYLE: SINK HOLE JUSTU,” And landed on the ground with enough force to make the hardwood floor buckle. If she had landed a few more feet to the right, she would have hit a rather expensive rug and this would have pissed of Ixen ever MORE than he was right now, as that particular rug was from the leaf village where he originated from.
Upon hitting the ground, a wave of sand formed around jase, Genrin, and Ixen’s feet and solidified. Ixen tried to jerk out his foot in an effort to run towards his weapon’s closet.
Genrin formed a few hand signs of his own and hit the dirt. “EARTH STYLE: CORRUPT ROCK JUSTU!” The earth that had encased the trio’s feet withdrew and condensed where Lily was standing. She looked down and was throw several feet away as the earth shot up, Erupting out in smoldering chucks.
Lily landed on the ground, and rolled back onto her feet. Where she had landed was chucks of sandstone, and this was apparently was what her disguise was made out of. When she got up, she had cracks all over her skin, and more of the sand stone was falling off. Ixen, now free, he bolted forward to a closet and pulled out two steel claws with blood red tribal markings on them.
The claws were solid blackened steel, re-enforced with special allow straight from the desert country. The blood was from a summoned animal and mystic in nature. Due to this, the weapon could focus chakra into it and become stronger. Normally, this weapon would be useless, but due to ixen’s focus, the weapon ignited whenever he activated it.
The Fake lily bolted backwards towards the only other door in the exquisite study and threw down a small disk with writing on it. It exploded, forming a thick dusty fog in the air. Jase pulled out a piece of paper with symbols written upon it, and a small bit of consecrated iron and crumpled them together. They both glowed and started sucking the Dust out of the air.
Upon the dust being absent, The Fake lily and another man dressed in dark street clothes were at the front door of the room. The fake lily pulled out a small jar and the rest of her disguise broke apart and flew into it, revealing her true face. A sharp woman with not-so-delicate features, she almost had a sense of masculinity to her, and her grey eyes knew no womanly charms.
The man also had a sense of hatred around him, and nothing but death originated from his aura. The man had several scars on his face, and had obviously seen many “jobs.” What the worst was happened to be his eyes, Pure black and merciless.
Ixen walked calmly towards the center of the room with his claws, now coated with flames. They were open at the hand, but his fingers were inside 3 long and very solid blades. The thumb was in an articulated and jointed spike, maneuverable.
“If you knew how much assassins PISS me off, you would have never taken this job.” Spat out ixen as he clapped both of the claws together. This activated the claws and caused them to fully ignite, and forced the blades to become joined, like hands.
He pointed an accusing “Finger” Forward at the two sand ninjas.
“You’re going to regret this for the rest of you short and soon-to-be Very tortured lives.” The girl chuckled at this statement.
“Well, you seem to be confident.” She smiled, revealing sharp teeth. “Well, Sid, what say we test this brat’s will.” Said the woman arrogantly, causing Ixen to bare his teeth in seething anger. The male shook his head in approval.
“Yeah, Kula, Let’s test that.” He calmly stated as he threw forth a slew of kunai. Ixen silently cut them in to pieces when they got close to them, and metal fragments flew everywhere.
“Fail” Laughed Jase as he formed hands signs and prepared another Blizzard wheel justu. Genrin closed his eyes as his arm peeled apart and the muscle fibers formed 5 pulsing tentacles. “Hope this was worth it.” He laughed as he dashed towards the couple. Ixen and Jase soon followed. The girl and male pulled out 2 swords each and darted forwards to meet their opponents.

THIRD
A large boom echoed across the house. Iris perked up and so did lily. The empty bowl of ramen fell onto the ground and shattered. A vein popped onto iris head, followed by another. Lily noticed this and asked, “Erm… Iris, are you okay?”
Iris slowly stood up and her eyes seemed to light on fire as she screamed, “THIS IS THE THIRD TIME THIS WEEK,” And bolted out of the room. Lily’s eyes open and she followed after her. They ran for a few moments and soon reached the open room that was the entrance to the house.
“I know they’re nearby.” Iris stated, lightning arcing between her fingers. A door slammed above them and a Man, Sid, flew out landing on his back onto the solid marble tile below, causing him to grunt in pain. He then shot out his hand, causing a solid wave of heat to shoot forward towards the figure that followed.
Iris jumped, and grabbed a hold of the balcony above her and vaulted herself up. She noticed a dark hair girl run by her, and she reached out her arcing hand and grabbed her by the back of her neck and slung her against a wall. The following shock she delivered caused Kula to cry in pain. Kula reacted by kicking Iris in the jaw and vaulting off her head to the floor above, where Sid was trying not to be cut up by Ixen and his blazing “hands”, and threw forth a huge amount of kunai at Iris.
Iris formed a few hand signs and shouted, “LIGHTING STYLE, POLAR JUSTU,” Which caused the kunai to revolve around her and shoot back at Kula at twice the speed she threw them. The Kunai erupted with sparks as they landed into the floor, Kula getting nailed on her shoulder, causing a bolt of lighting to arc to her. She Grunted in pain and bolted out of the front door.
Sid wasn’t as lucky as Ixen clawed at him, his two katana’s beginning to glow red hot from the blades. He formed a few hands signs when Ixen withdrew and yelled, “EARTH STYLE, SAND CLAW JUSTU!” His hand was formed with a giant claw made of sand stone, which met Ixen’s claw with great eagerness. They stood clashed and Sid laughed, “Well, boy, seems you have an equal.” Sid spat out at he kicked ixen’s side.
Unfortunately, he forgot about the other claw, which caught his leg, causing that jean leg to burst into flames. He yelled out in pain as he withdrew it back. This caused the sand claw to burst apart due to his lapse in concentration. Ixen brought back the claw that caught his leg into a back hand and slashed at Sid. Sid was promptly cut into pieces at the fiery slash, no blood ever being spilt as the wounds cauterized. His black eyes drained of their color and what was left of him fell to the floor lifeless.
Ixen clapped his claws together again, his arm no longer as burnt as it was. This caused the claws to extinguish and the blades to reform.
“No one can equal the fury of an inferno, dumb-ass...” He chuckled. Iris jumped down to the floor below and looked at Ixen. Ixen saw her and a sweat drop formed upon his head.
“Except for a pissed-off chick,” He then said, staring at iris, which in return, smiled happily and cocked her head to the side.
Jase and genrin ran from the second balcony, Jase still holding his book. Genrin had in his 5 tentacles another assassin, his one with white hair. His young demeanor and scar less face implied that this was his first job.
Genrin threw him down to the first floor violently, and Ixen caught him.
“Who’s this idiot?” Ixen remarked, staring at the frightened man.
“Caught him in the rafters,” Genrin said.
Ixen laughed, “YOU caught him?” He said, not believe what he heard. “Nope, I Dids,” A voice cried out.
Ixen slapped his hand to his face and said, “Of course you would, Keiro.”
A young man dropped from the ceiling quickly and slowed down almost immediately slowed down as soon as he landed.
“Aw, come on! I did well! He was on his way to our guest and I stopped him!” Keiro grinned.
“Besides, I don’t see YOU with any hostages.” He retorted to Ixen. Ixen stared at Keiro and pointed at what remained of Sid.
“Brute” Commented the brown haired man, looking away.
Keiro was a wind ninja, and it showed. He was peppy, active, and very playful to others, always trying to get a laugh out of the situation he was in. He was wearing a white muscle shirt with a faded denim vest over it that match his long black shorts. He had youthful Indigo eyes, and you could almost feel the energy originating from his body. He looked almost like a teenager but, like the others, was older than he looked.
He smiled at Ixen, “Well, what say we pump him for information?”
Ixen looked at the now terrified white haired ninja.
“I think I can handle that by myself.” The ninja, albeit wearing sunglasses, was frightened to the point that you could see his eyes through the shades if you looked hard enough.
“Please, don’t! I’ll tell you everything I know.” Ixen looked at him and smiled, “Naw. You’re going to do that anyway,” before punching him in the face, knocking him out.
“Let me guess,” Jase said, “Turbines.” Ixen cracked his neck. “Good idea.”
Lily stood there in surprise. Iris jumped down to the second floor where she was.
“Come on, let’s let them work.” She said as she led lily back to her room. Yes, today WAS an eventful day, she thought.

Mol woke up to nothing. He couldn’t move, he couldn’t see, but he could still taste and smell. The taste of blood was apparent, but there was also another taste and small that was apparent, and it was that of engine oil. He was apparently being held in an auto shop of some kind. Not surprising, as there are many things you could use to extract the truth from someone.
“It’s just too bad that no one’s getting anything here except lies.” He thought.
When he was trained into his ways, he went through extensive training against torture, and specific techniques to fool would be interrogators into believe a falsely hood. A grimace here, and a jerk there, and even the best of the best would be fooled. In reality, no amount of pain would ever make him talk.
A quick jerk later, he would be able to see again, the blind fold that once bound his sight to the darkness now severed from his scar-less face. The room was dark, but he was able to tell his initial assumption of an auto-shop was wrong. He also cringed as a pair of earplugs was jerked from his ears, as a loud noise behind him and all around him became apparent. This wasn’t an auto-shop of any kind. This was in reality, a power house.
“So, how’s your head,” Asked Ixen to the white haired would-be assassin of lily.
“It’s been better, no thanks to you,” Said Mol.
Ixen walked around him and yelled, “GOOD!” into his face, sending out spittle across his left cheek. Mol grimaced in disgust and anger. Jase adjusted his black hair and smirked. “If I ever get out of this, I’ll make that little shit pay for knocking me out.” Thought mol.
“You expect me to talk,” Chuckled Mol. “You’ll be disappointed.”
“For your sake,” Started Ixen, as he pulled up a stool, “You better not.”
Jase move Mol’s chair to the left to reveal what the noise was. It was a giant turbine, apparently one of many being used to power the mansion they lived in. Ixen tilted the stool over with his little finger, causing it to slowly fall into the moving gears of the turbine. It shattered into splinters as it shot forth through the other side. Mol’s face remained blank but he was scared out of his wits in reality.
“Well, that’s a waste of wood. That’s a crime against the environment.” Mol joked, trying to give the impression he was un-impressed.
“If you keep that up, I’ll plant a new tree using your remains as fertilizer,” Stated Ixen. That did it. Mol shifted his weight, and Jase chuckled as he said, “You aren’t the first and you certainly won’t be the last.”
Mol shrugged and nonchalantly mumbled, “Yeah, well maybe I do know something.”
Ixen lightly smiled, sitting on another chair that was nearby, the back of the chair at his front.
“That’s better. Don’t lie now, cause my buddy here can read minds. He’ll tell me if you’re lying.” Shot out Ixen as he smirked.
Mol looked at Jase, and Jase did the same, and then waved his fingers at mol and moaned eerily in sarcasm. Mol chucked. “You’re lying.” Jase then said, “He’s lying about the lying.” Ixen stood up and kicked the chair he was sitting on with one foot, causing it to collide with Mol’s, which caused him to tilt backwards into the turbine.
Jase caught the chair with prevented it from fully falling into the turbine and turned it around, so mol was face to face with the blood-red wheel. He wasn’t lying about before, as the wheel smelt of rot and decay. Mol’s shade fell into the turbine and shattered.
“Okay, you got my attention,” Mol said, obviously shaken. “I was hired by some people in robes. Apparently, there was a village destroyed about 20 miles away from here and there were survivors when there weren’t supposed to me.” Jase lifted the chair and set it away from the turbine. “I didn’t see their faces as they had on these marks that blocked them from sight. All I saw was tons of yen, probably a businessman’s nickel.”
Ixen glared at the man and asked, “Businessman’s nickel?” To which Jase replied, “Five million yen.” Ixen nodded and looked at Mol.
“Why no survivors,” asked Ixen. “Why wouldn’t they just use their OWN men to mop up the job instead of just hiring someone not as well trained to do their dirty work for them when they could probably do the same job better and for free?”
Mol shrugged as best as he could. “I’m not paid to look a horse in the mouth. I’m paid to hunt and kill.” Ixen looked at the assassin with utmost disgust.
“You know why I hate assassins so much,” Started Ixen.
“It’s not because you kill for money. It’s not your horrible moral ethic. It’s not because of your distain for human life,” Stated Ixen to the bounded man as he walked forward and then paused. “Oh… Wait, That IS why I don’t like assassins,” Stated Ixen as he shrugged.
“Heh, Go figure,” He explained as he side-kicked the assassin into the turbine. The chair nailed the turbine, but not mol. In fact, aside from the chair, the only thing that hit the turbine was a small tank of gasoline, which exploded violently.
Thankfully, the turbine was made of tougher stuff than the steel, as it wasn’t harmed. Ixen was thrown against the opposing wall, however. Ixen, relatively unharmed, blinked and shouted out “SHIT!” as he realized during his inquisition, Mol must have untied his hands. After that, he was only a simple substitution Jutsu away from freedom. Ixen looked around the room, standing up. He was long gone by now, but he could in no way harm lily with 4 other ninja’s in the house. The only thing he could do was run, and running was futile.
Jase was gone the minute the explosion happened, in hot pursuit of mol, who was faster than he looked. Ixen stood up and thought of something he had not before. A lack of facial scars on an assassin didn’t necessarily mean he was new. It could also mean he knew what he was doing. “Well, not that I won’t appreciate the challenge.” Ixen said, walking towards the door. Upon touching the handle, he realized that it was stone cold, and probably frozen. Jase wouldn’t do this at this time as he knew the danger, which meant that Mol was a water ninja, focused on ice.
Ixen geared up his hand for a huge blast of fire and then stopped. Perhaps a flash fire in a gasoline and diesel filled room full of possibly dangerous chemicals was NOT a good idea. “Smart little bastard,” Laughed Ixen as he grabbed the hand. His hand began to heat up and the handle started to turn colors, significant to heated metal. It wouldn’t take long to get out, but it doesn’t usually take long for a ninja to escape. After a few seconds, the door opened, and Ixen bolted out the door.
Mahajarah - March 13, 2008 03:31 AM (GMT)
Jase had followed the ninja into the woods. He had bolted away as quick as he possibly could, towards a small plume of smoke in the woods, probably the village he had mentioned earlier. At the time, he realized that he couldn’t catch up to him, neither was he going to try to. The man was probably kilometers away by now, and there was no point in pursuit. He bolted back towards the mansion and entered it. He saw that ixen was already there and talking to genrin, who was nodding his head.
“And you think he won’t attempt to kill Lily again?”
“I’m almost certain,” Stated Ixen seriously. “He would probably attempt to get away from his contract. After all, they never pay ahead of time what they aren’t willing to lose.
“That may be true, but money’s money. The greed alone may drive him to try at come back to finish the job.”
Jase cleared his throat, attracting Ixen’s and Genrin’s attention. “He ran towards a plume of smoke in the woods. It’s too big to be a campfire, so it’s probably either his headquarters or something else.”
“It’s probably that village. Perhaps he forgot something there that was important to him or something else of major importance.” Ixen sighed in frustration at the man getting away.
“Or someone. That girl also ran away, don’t forget that.” Genrin added.
“Then what are we waiting for? Let’s get our asses out there and start hunting their punk asses down,” Explained Ixen, raising his arm upwards and balling his hand into a fist.
“Well, we should start out immediately in that case.” Genrin decided.
“What about Iris and Lily? Are they going to tag along as well?” Asked Jase, “Because if they are, you do realize that’s another person we may have to protect other than ourselves.”
“Iris can stand for herself, believe me.” Ixen stated, looking at the now scarred shoulder of his, the scar slightly fading as they spoke. “It’s lily we have to worry about.”
Genrin looked upward to the second story. “Iris will stay behind with lily. She’ll protect her well. No one is stupid enough to try to enter the house with her in it.”
Ixen shrugged. “If that’s what you think is best. Just let me get my stuff ready and we’ll head on out.” Jase nodded, “If we do have to fight, I’ll need to grab a few tomes.” Ixen glared at Jase.
“Books, not tome,” Ixen stated, “Only old people use the word ‘Tomes’ anymore.”
“Ancient demonic lore is NOT a book, you little...” started Jase.
“Easy,” Intervened Genrin. “Save if for the assassins.” Jase and Ixen glared at each other so intensively that the room itself seemed to set on fire before they each went their own way.
All was silent within the forest except for a faint roar of a blaze. Genrin, Ixen, and Jase were walking down a path that had recently seen much wear, mostly in the opposite direction they were heading. “So, who do you think was hired to destroy this village,” Asked Ixen to Genrin.
“Who said it had to be human,” Stated Genrin. “It could have been summoned.”
Jase laughed. “In that case, we just need to be wary of whoever summoned it here.”
“That doesn’t make sense. Orrichimaru was killed god knows how long ago and that was the only person as of yet who summoned a creature to kill something.” Jase reflected.
“Who ever said it had to be controlled?” Genrin said in a retort to Jase.
Jase shrugged and they pushed onward.
It became ever so apparent that they were heading towards something that they should have thought twice about before heading down the path as now the road had spots of red in it and a few craters here and there.
“What the hell happened here,” Exclaimed a rather surprised Ixen. “Not ever a furious ninjutsu battle does this kind of damage!”
“I already said that whatever did this had the possibility of not being human, and it seems we’ve confirmed it.” Genrin calmly stated.
“I’ll start researching what can do this kind of damage,” Stated Jase.
“Well, hurry up on that.” Stated Ixen, “I want to know what I’m going too horribly dismember before… Keiro, why the hell did you follow us?!”
There was no movement aside from the trees and grass that still remained.
“Get out of the tree and answer my question. Why…did you follow?”
A rather reluctant Keiro jumped out of the oak to Ixen’s left.
“Oh, gee, you figure you’d be grateful if someone who’s scouted the entire village and. guesses I know how you work now.”
“Keiro, stop it.” Genrin barked, “You said you scouted the village, what’d you find?”
“Nothing. There seems to be nothing left of the place aside from rubble.”
“What about that white haired sissy boy? Jase saw him running toward this village.”
“Didn’t see him enter, neither do I see why he would anyway. Say, I thought you were going to pump him for info, Ixen!” Shot out a rather gleeful Keiro.
“Ixen glared at the wind ninja. “Not…a damn… word.”
“Meh, you’re no fun,” Retorted the now disappointed ninja. He walked up to genrin and said, “However, I did see that chick enter.”
Ixen perked up. “That’s more like it. What happened?”
“Well, I was… camping out after a scout to look for intru…”
“You fell asleep, didn’t you,” Asked a cynical Jase.
“No!” Shot back Keiro, “I just was… intently staring at my eyelids.”
Ixen slowly but surely fell onto his side like a fallen tree. When Ixen got up, he grabbed Keiro.
“Of course you would. There were two dangerous assassins on the way to this village and you fell asleep!”
“Well, what do you think woke me up?!” Keiro spat out angrily.
Ixen rolled his eyes, “Let me guess, she NOISLY passed by you waking up. Oh, wait, you sleep so hard even an EXPLOSION doesn’t wake you up!”
“Yeah, it does!” Keiro argued, as genrin put his palm to his face. Jase sat down and started reading into the various ‘tomes’ he had brought along, reading “Make-out Paradise” within his Demonology tome.
“No, it doesn’t! I know. I’ve tried it before…Two freaking feet away from your deaf ass!” Ixen argued back!
“Well, a woman screaming’s a different story.” Keiro argued back.
Ixen’s face went blank, genrin stop shaking his head and looked up from his palm, and Jase even looked up from his books, a feat no so easily done.
“What did you say?” Jase asked in surprise.
“I said, she screamed, and that woke me up. I was going to help her, but she’s evil for one, and two, you guys caught me on the return trip to the mansion.”
“Well, if she screamed, and that was a few minutes ago, she’s either dead or hurt beyond the point of first aid.” Jase started. Genrin nodded, and said, “Ixen, get your claws ready. If we…”
“He’s not here.” Keiro meekly said.
Genrin let loose a heavy sigh. “Well, let’s hurry and chase after him. Hopefully we’ll catch him before he gets himself killed.”
“Chill. I’m not THAT eager to help the chick that tries to kill a helpless girl.” Ixen remarked, walking from behind a tree, zipping up.
“Oh…” Genrin said, looked away embarrassed. “Well, let’s hurry anyway. If we find her dead, we can go on back to the mansion and call this a night.” Everyone nodded and they started walking towards the no-so-small anymore plume of smoke.
Mahajarah - March 13, 2008 03:33 AM (GMT)
Iris and lily were watching TV. That is, iris was. Lily had fallen asleep in her lap.
Iris was watching nothing. “600 channels and nothing’s on as usual.” Iris stated in boredom. She shut off the TV, and picked up lily with care. She walked her to her room, and laid her in the twin bed, and threw a comforter over her.
“I swear to god, if those boys get hurt, I’m going to finish them off.” Iris whisper to herself and closed the door to lily’s room. She walked to the office intently, and sat down at a jet black and red laptop, which was hers. Ixen was always jealous of it, until he got his grey one with lightning decals on it. She started browsing through the ‘family photos’. That is, the group together when they aren’t attempting to off each other.
In the pictures, they almost looked normal. Keiro, as always, was asleep against a tree. Jase had his face buried in a small book. Ixen was leaning on her head with his head cocked to the side arrogantly, bearing his vampiric smile he had, and she had a pissed off look to her smile to her due to Ixen leaning on her. Genrin was staring at the camera confused, probably not sure what it was supposed to do, as he had never posed for an actual digital camera shoot before. All he saw was a thin grey piece of plastic.
The next picture was Ixen on the ground, twitching. Jase looking at Ixen questionably and Keiro had fallen down onto iris, being woken up due to what Iris did to Ixen. Iris was on the ground, dazed due to Keiro falling ON her. Genrin had grabbed his eyes due to being blinded by the flash of the camera.
The third picture was the best, as that was the most normal. Genrin, Iris, Keiro, Ixen, and Jase were together, smiling for the camera. No book, no burns, no insanity apparent, aside from Keiro giving Iris and Ixen Rabbit ears. He always seemed intent on rabbits, now that she thought about it. Iris was smiling and her eyes closed, leaning on Jase’s shoulder. Jase had an arrogant smile to him. Keiro was giving a big goofy grin compared to Ixen’s sharp smile and seemingly sinister smile. Too bad he’s got a soft spot the size of his ego, she thought. Genrin, now knowing that the piece of plastic was a CAMERA, had posed against the tree, being on the far right, lightly smiling with his handsome gold eyes, giving the “Eternal” symbol, the index and middle finger extended with the thumb straightened out, the ring and pinky finger held in. She smiled contently.
“Oh, I WILL hurt them if they come back at all scratched or bruised or…” She closed the laptop and looked outside the window at the full harvest moon.
“Oh, please come back safe.” She said on the verge of tearing up. After a few seconds, she shook her head and said, “Geeze, I hate feeling like this, Time to hit the gym.” She said, stretching tiredly. A rather loud growl echoed the room, and she looked down in surprise at her stomach.
“Or midnight snack. That’s good too.” She giggled.
Mahajarah - March 13, 2008 03:39 AM (GMT)
Despite the amount of time that had elapsed, some of the destroyed village was STILL on fire. Coagulated blood soaked the ground, and a light smell of rot was apparent in the air. This made Ixen sick to his stomach. “Can we hurry this up, I don’t want to stay here any longer than we have to.”
“That depends on how fast we find this chick.” Genrin stated.
“Can’t we just follow our nose, the smell should lead us to her!” Keiro stated in a glimpse of intelligence.
“She was just recently wounded or killed. Rot wouldn’t set in yet, dip shit.” Ixen snapped. “Besides, with the sickening smell around here, even if she DID smell, that wouldn’t be an easy feat.”
“Erm… I think I know what we’re dealing with here.” Jase said. Genrin looked at Jase. “I think we’re dealing with something that exists on the fear of it’s prey.
“And how do you know that?” Ixen asked, confused as how he knew this.
Jase pointed at an alley of a half-destroyed building. When Ixen and genrin looked, they both grimaced. They had found Kula…Or her upper half at least. The rest of her seemed to be smeared onto the walls, her legs dangling from a leg hook.
“The wounds on her upper half indicated that they were meant for pain, not death. She was tortured rather than killed… that is, until whatever tortured her eviscerated her mid-section.” Ixen’s stomach turned, and he looked away, and saw something strange. Off towards the edge of town near the woods, an untouched building stood amidst the rubble that used to be a village, not ever scratched from whatever did this to the town. A curry restaurant from the looks of it, and if you couldn’t see the sign that stated that so, you could tell from the fancy tables that were in front of it.
“Let’s search there.” Ixen pointed towards the suspicious building.
Genrin looked towards the building and nodded.
“I’m certain that there’s a reason that was spared and everything else razed. Good eye.”
As they walked, they heard a Jutsu going off, and saw a giant stalagmite of ice shoot up several meters away.
“Well, we found him,” Said Jase. Ixen pulled out and activated his claws. “He should have stayed hidden.” Ixen remarked, walking towards the Jutsu, intend on jumping over the building that was in his way. That is, if Mol wasn’t sent flying though it. Ixen barely dodged the beat-up ninja that crashed into a light pole, causing it to flicker.
Mol started to get up, but was grabbed by a giant three-fingered hand that was spiked. It was stretched out and withdrew to it’s master with mol in tow.
The demon was huge, about 8 feet tall. It was onyx and humanoid in nature with spikes all over it. It had four horns that bent back across its head, and ended in sharp points that seemed to be sharper than spears. Its muscles seemed chiseled out of granite and it stood erect and proud like any warrior should. It wasn’t wearing any clothes, but it didn’t need too, being null. It’s crimson red hair flowed, parts of it matted with blood.
Its three finger hands seemed to pulse with strength as it held its vice-like grip onto a near-death mol. It looked at mol with its glowing eyes. A Blood red Iris formed with jet-black pupils, the pupils themselfs having a bit of yellow in them, as if they were antoehr pair of eyes, and they seem to stare into Mol’s soul. It smiled, revealing serrated curved teeth, gleaming white.
It laughed, released a deep and echoing voice that would make the bravest of man flinch in terror. It strengthened its grip on mol, who jerked in pain silently, apparently not even having enough breath to scream. When it laughed, it revealed a rough blood red tongue with a rough hooked top layer to it, apparently made for ripping meat off of the bone. It seemed almost skeletal in nature if it wasn’t for the pulsing muscles.
Ixen glared at the creature, then at mol. Mol reached out to Ixen from several feet away, and weekly muttered, “Kill me,” Blood gushing from his mouth. The demon tossed mol in the air about a foot, grabbed him by his broken legs, and slammed his body into a light pole nearby, shattering his skull and causing the light pole to break in half. Ixen ignited his claws.
The demon noticed this and laughed. “Well, he asked for it, you heard him!” the demon said, it’s voice having a major reverb to it. Ixen didn’t drop his guard. The demon straightened up, and pointed at Ixen. “Legion’s the name.” Ixen smirked, “For you are many?” Legion smirked in return, “No, for I have KILLED many.” With that, It walked forward to the gang of ninja.
“You DO what this things done,” Asked genrin to Ixen. Ixen said, “Yes.”
“You DO realize that’s thing’s probably killed others like you.”
Ixen retorted, “Uh-huh,” and stood his ground.
“So… what do you plan on doing?” Keiro asked in curiosity.
“Kill it with fire.” Ixen remarked as Legion charged at him.
Ixen met its three fingered hand with his flaming claws, bringing the demon to a standstill. “Interesting, an actual challenge… you never find those anymore.” The demon chucked. Ixen smiled. “I’ll give you more than that if you let me.” Legion chuckled more. “I won’t.” They released their grip and leigon palm-thrusted Ixen, burning him with dark chalra. Ixen, while hurling backwards, formed many hand signs rapidly with his claws. “FIRE STYLE: RAGING DRAGON JUSTU!” he yelled, hitting the ground with his hand, stopping hinself, and then charged behind the dragon
Instantaneously, a typical serpent made of fire emerged from the ground and shot forth from the ground towards Legion. It met the dragon at its gaping maw and powered through it. It emerged slightly singed and met Ixen’s claws again. It swept Ixen’s legs, and kicked him, sending him skidding about 15 feet away. Ixen formed hand signs while skidding and pushing off from the ground activated the Jutsu. Another dragon popped forward and met legion again. The other dragon that was summoned arced forward and charged at legion.
Both of the dragons rushed him at once, and legion met the dragon’s mouth with his hands, stopping them both. It then burst forth a blast of dark chakra, destroying both of the dragons immediately. Ixen took advantage of this, and rushed to its back, burying his claws into his spine. It roared in pain and slammed itself into a light pole, but to no avail. Ixen continuously held on and stabbed him time and time again with his other claw. Eventually, Ixen let go, and it backhanded him though a building.
Keiro shot forward to help Ixen, but genrin stopped him. “Let this be his last initiation. He handles this, he’s a full member.”
Ixen emerged from the building and roundhouse kicked legion into the light pole that he had broken, impaling him. It jerkily pulled itself off and Ixen rushed towards it, dragging his claws on the ground, leaving a trail of fire behind. They both met each other in a force that sounded like a thunderclap, which could be heard for miles.
Mahajarah - March 13, 2008 03:42 AM (GMT)
Two hours later, Ixen was tired, and caked in a mixture of dirt, sweat, and blood. Legion didn't fare much better, standing rigidly, bleeding and furious. “I’ve got to hand it to you human. I didn’t think you had it in you to handle the flaming fox’s missile Jutsu, but you did. That hurt like hell. It’s been awhile since I felt like this.”
Ixen glared and retorted, “It’s not going to quit either. I’m not stopping until you’ve been taken care of.”
“Heh…No matter how strong you are, you aren’t going to kill me. No one has, and no one ever will!” It grunted as it jerked forward. Ixen withdrew his claws, and started to form a Jutsu again, but as legion was in striking range, Legion noticed what the jutsu was and immediantly attempted to get out of ixen's reach but it was too late.
“DEMONIC SEAL JUTSU,” yelled Ixen as he grabbed Legion’s arm. Legion yelled as he was slowly but surely vacuumed into Ixen’s arm, forming a tribal-type curse mark as it flowed into him. When it was said and done, there was a tribal curse mark upon Ixen’s shoulder and legion was no longer there.
Ixen stood up, victorious, and smiling. “Told you so,” he chuckled as he walked forward. Genrin, Keiro, and Jase, who had inspected the building that Ixen noticed and found nothing aside from a small vase that seemed to be ritually and locally important, walked over to Ixen. Ixen turned around and put his calloused hand on Genrin’s shoulder and said, “Great party, man,” Before passing out onto the ground.
Genrin smiled. “You’ll get another when you wake up. After all, you made it in fully, and that’s worth celebrating.” Keiro groaned. “Don’t tell me we’re letting him in?!” Jase smirked, “As much as you hate it, he proved himself today. We have no choice but too.” Keiro looked at Ixen and muttered. “Yeah, I guess he deserves that much at least.” Genrin knelt down and patted Ixen’s back
“Welcome to the Murasama,” Is all he said
Mahajarah - March 13, 2008 03:44 AM (GMT)
Normally, the forest would be lifeless and silent at night. It would be without motion, or light of any kind. However, tonight was not a regular night in the forest. After all, no one normally fights a nine thousand year old demon and live to tell the tale. And it was because of this reason that the forest was alive and aglow… and most of the creatures that resided inside of it were extremely displeased.
At the mansion, Ixen was laying back in a couch, drinking a unknown purplish liquid from a clear cup. It was Shadow’s Wine, but not many people would know this as it wasn’t openly available on the open buyer’s market… Mostly because of it’s unworldly strength. Most people can’t even smell it without flinching from it’s potency.
Ixen took a sip of the Sake, and didn’t even blink. Normally, he wouldn’t drink, but after you have a vicious brawl, you have to either smoke or drink or do something to calm you down. In this case, this was drinking…Lots of it.
Ixen and the gang were hanging around at the couch with some ‘light’ music playing in the background. He smiled as he took another sip of his Shadows.
“Well, this is the life. Why can’t we do this more often,” Ixen stated in a relaxed state to genrin, who was drinking a Fermented liquid made from a Ghost pepper, which was strong enough to cause ulcers in a human mouth within a few minutes of biting into a strong one.
“Because if we don’t keep up our guise and if we rely on Jase’s alchemy, People will become suspicious and the government will come after us. Seriously, a bunch of unknown ninja’s living in luxury would be thought to be thieves.”
Ixen smirked, only slightly buzzed. “Ah, let them come. We can handle them, as least I know I Can,” He boasted.
Genrin shook his head slightly, and commented “That’s un-needed attention when we can do what we do.”
Ixen pointed a finger from his drink hand at genrin.
“Last I checked, attention means publicity. Everyone loves someone infamous.”
Genrin looked at Ixen strangely. “You were the loud one in school, weren’t you?”
Ixen coldly glared at genrin and glugged down the rest of his wine. “If I wasn’t such a kind person, I’d get up and knock both of you out.”
Genrin smiled and said, “I think you’ve had enough.”
Ixen went to say something, raising his hand up, and stopped. He looked at the hand as if amazed by it.
“Yeah, I think that’s a good idea. 9 fingers isn’t a good sign.” He commented, putting down his hand onto the couch arm, still looking at it.
Iris and Jase walked in carrying a plate of food each, followed by a rather alert Keiro. Genrin nodded his head at Jase and Iris and then his eye fell onto Keiro and he slightly frowned.
“She caught you trying to sneak some chicken, didn’t she,” he asked
Nonchalantly. Keiro nodded. “She didn’t tell you that it was spicy, did she?” Keiro nodded again. “Now your tongue’s burn and it hurts to talk, doesn’t it?” Keiro shook his head. “It wasn’t THAT spicy; I just don’t want to piss her off anymore than I already have.”
Genrin nodded in agreement, “Yeah, that’s a good choice.” Keiro sat down into a comfy chair and looked at the food. Mostly appetizers, such as barbeque chicken chucks, fried cheese pops, among other things that would make someone’s heart solidify. Taking one of the small shot glasses filled with a light Sake, he shot it down and grabbed a cheese pop, leaning back. “So, when do you think we’ll get our next client, Jase?”
Jase, who was eating some chicken chucks, shrugged and continued to eat, attempting to keep clean like a gentleman, but failing miserably due to the chucks being slathered with spicy sauce. “I think it won’t be long now. After all, Ixen getting in was a good omen and fortune usually follows thereafter a good omen.”
“Damn right it does!” Laughed Ixen as he popped a handful of cheese pops into his mouth.” Genrin finished off his Ghost Whisky, as it was called, and popped into his mouth two chunks of chicken. “I think they’ll smell this food Iris made and that’ll send them running.” Lily, who was sitting a few feet away from Ixen, was enjoying a rather large rice ball when she looked up and noticed someone at the front door.
Ixen perked up, looking at the man. He stared at the middle-aged gentleman for a second and asked, “Yeah??”
“Erm… This IS Murasama, Corp… Right,” Asked the man in a overcoat.
“Yes, sir,” Stated iris as she stood up, walking towards the man, “How can we help you?”
“Yes, I have an … Issue I need taken care of,” Said the man as he took off his coat, revealing a black business suit.
Ixen noticed something wasn’t right and he whispered to lily, “You may want to go in the back. Have some dessert or something.” She nodded and headed to the kitchen.
Iris stopped. “I’m sorry, we don’t do political assassination.” She went to sit down, but the man stopped her by touching her shoulder. Ixen tensed up, but Keiro across from him signaled him to calm down, via rapidity mouthed “No!”
“You don’t have too, the mark’s already dead.” Iris stopped at looked at the man.
“If he’s already DEAD, then why are you here, to pin the blame on us?”
“Not necessarily… If you co-operate,” He commented. “Plus, it’s not like we aren’t PAYING you.” The man pulled out something that was rarely seen… a business check. Iris took it at looked at it. The check was worth ten million yen. Her eyes widened and she immediately said, “How can we help you,” Cheerfully.
Ixen got up angrily. “WHAT? How can you do this,” He yelled as he stomped towards Iris. “This stupid Law monger is threatening to shut us doooo...Ohhhhhh... THAT’S why.” He said as he saw the check, and quietly went sit down.
“It’s the remains. The person had a certain… issue with their bloodline.”
Genrin got up lazily and head toward the man. “He had a special skill, and you want us to fetch his skull for you, right?” The man froze, “How did you?” He started before Jase cut him off.
“Why would a lawyer want us to go grave-robbing for the average run of the mill target if he didn’t have an uncanny ability of showing up again when it was least beneficial? Plus, from the amount of money you’re giving us, it’s safe to say that this mission is extremely dangerous, and not even your company’s willing to send in their own people to where this target is.”
The man looked at Jase with surprise, but that soon faded, replaced with his
‘Your Honor’ Face that lawyers seemed to be able to do on the fly.
“Smart man. Yes, correct on each and every last detail. The man’s family has a tendency of… Unrest after they pass away. We can’t afford this.”
“Because it’ll attempt to take out someone that’s important to you,” Jase inquired
“Not quite. It was our old Boss,” The lawyer spoke. “For years, the boss had ran the company in the ever so wondrous way of lying and stealing from the company quota. When we promptly… ‘relieved’ them from their position, we did some research and found out their family had a period in which the soul can leave from it’s body and possess someone from his bloodline…In this case, this newborn girl.” He pulled out a Polaroid of a mother with her child. Iris looked at the picture long and hard.
“When it possesses the child, its soul will be lost forever. The child’s body will not be able to handle its new soul and it will die almost immediately… That is, if you don’t do something about it.” Iris began to tear up and was just about to agree when genrin chipped in, “Nice story… But Jase there can read minds, so try again.”
A drop of sweat formed on the lawyers head and he shrunk back.
“Okay. We can cut straight to it. It’ll possess our new boss and run the company into the ground.” Jase nodded and genrin stated, “That’s more like it.”
“Our firm helps people who cannot afford legal help achieve this goal. As unsatisfactory our terms happen to be, if he runs down the company’s stock, and then there will be chaos among the legal system. Trials will be hung; the economy will ripple, etc.”
Ixen began to open his mouth spitefully, but genrin stopped him. “He’s right. When a major corporation falls suddenly, it’s never a good thing. It may be unsavory, but this will help the greater good… not to mention, fatten our wallets. Where is he at?”
“She, actually. No one said this was a man.” The man retorted. “Albeit if you didn’t KNOW…” He started to mumble. “But I digress, all you need to do is place this powder onto her skull, and the soul will release peacefully.”
“What if she possesses one of us?” Ixen asked spitefully.
“Shouldn’t happen. She can only possess someone weak-willed.”
“Then why is your new boss in… Oh… Right…Back-stabbers.” Ixen said.
The man smiled. “If we don’t keep a good handle on the company, it could steer itself into some… unwanted trouble.”
“Well, how do you know by paying us up front that we’ll complete the job,” Genrin questioned, sitting down.
“Now… Who said that wasn’t an INITIAL payment?” Ixen perked up at this.
“Okay, don’t care anymore, Where is the little bitch,” He stated, cracking his neck.
“Hold on, I’m not feeling this,” Iris stated. “How do we know he’s telling the truth on this, aside from the mind-reading business?”
The man straightened his coat and said, “Trust me when I say that she wasn’t a very nice person, and that ever her family doesn’t miss her. It took a huge chunk our company’s resources to make her look… appeasable to the press.” The man said with a side-glance.
“Well, upon completion, who will give us our money,” Ixen spat at the man, almost trying to start a fight with him.
“I’ve been granted a few days leave. I’ll stay at the camp several kilometers away from here until you return with the new of your success.”
Ixen glared at the man. Genrin walked forward. “Well, I guess we’ll take it. Not like this is one of our worse jobs anyway.”
The man nodded at walked to the door. “Oh, and sir,” Jase said, causing the man to stop at the door and glance at him. “Never walk in here with a concealed weapon again.” The man’s face went pale and he hastily walked out the door.

Ixen glared at Genrin and said, “Well?”
Genrin shrugged. “It’s not like we don’t need it. Trust me when I say this job isn’t that bad and that Jase is sure that the man was telling the truth after we called his bluff.”
Ixen looked at Jase, then at genrin. “Limited Telepathy.” Jase stated as Ixen was opening his mouth to argue. “Can we get back to the food, I’m still hungry,” Stated iris, Turning around to see a good portion of the food gone, and a rather stuffed Keiro laying down on the couch, dozing off.
“Well, it’s a good thing I made more,” She chuckled as she head to the back to get more food.
Ixen walked over to Keiro and said, “You’re in my seat. Move.”
Keiro opened one eye and mumbled, “Find a new one. Mine now.”
Ixen started to grab at keiro’s shirt to move him, but his arm glowed. Suddenly, Ixen’s arm grabbed Keiro by the arm and slung him off the couch, sending him flying a few feet. Keiro twirled through the air and gracefully landed on the ground, hovering off of it slightly. “Dude, what the hell?!”
Ixen looked at his arm with surprise. It started to turn to black and his hand morphed into a three-fingered clawed hand. It moved seemingly on its own. “No.” He said, not so much in surprise, but as a order. Lily walked from the back and started to ask a question, but stopped when she noticed Ixen’s arm. She walked towards Ixen, and asked, “Is everything okay?”
Ixen was still looking at the arm. “I’m not sure. I don’t think I can control this…” he started before the arm jerked up and groped Lily’s chest. Lily gasped and drew back. The arm stretched and continued after her before Ixen jerked it back. “NO,” He commanded again. The hand slowly turned around, its palm facing him, as if it was staring at him. “Don’t you do it,” Ixen stated. The hand turned around again, and slowly stretched out its middle finger and palmed the other two. “You little bastard,” Stated Ixen.
The hand shot out and jabbed Ixen in the eye, causing Ixen to fall back in pain a little. It reached for Jase’s throat and froze. Ixen glared at the hand and his arm slowly reverted to normal.
Lily looked at Ixen with surprise and shock. “That was the demon you were talking about, right?”
Ixen straightened up, still looking at the arm, the curse marks on it seemingly pulsing.
“Yeah… Shut up.” He stated.
Lily’s face went blank. “What?” She asked insulted.
“Not you, Hi… SHUT UP!” He yelled.
Lily, now confused, looked at Ixen crossly. “Who are you talking to?”
“Legion, he won’t SHUT… THE FUCK … UP!”
Lily and genrin looked at each other, a sweat mark forming on their forehead
.
“No.. NO!” He yelled, “Stop reading my memories… NO!”
Lily slowly backed away from Ixen.
“Stop it… Sto… Oh, you found THAT one did you? Yeah, bet you wish you listened now don’t you… Yeah, I know my leg doesn’t bend that wa... ARE YOU LAUGHING?”
Genrin slowly sat back down again, grabbing some food.
“You’re sick to laugh at that, you know this rig… I’m sorry, what? Well, you know I got YOURS too. Well, I’m rather hard to scare so… Hey, don’t make me bring up the goats… Yeah, that’s what I thought.” Ixen sat down triumphantly, apparently the victor of his argument. “Well, let’s dig in, it’s not getting any tastier… NO, IT DOES NOT NEED CUMIN, IT’S FINE AS IT IS!” He yelled angrily at no one.
Lily looked down and mumbled, “Knew it needed more bite.”
“No, it’s fine, it really is. No it isn’t, it’s too mild.” Ixen perked up.
“You did NOT just do that. Oh, I just did, and you can’t do anything about it!” Ixen stated gleefully, his voice slightly echoing.
“Okay, this one time there were these virgin goats and OKAY, I’LL STOP IT… Geese, can’t take a little chaos, can you?” He suddenly interjected to himself.
Ixen cracked his neck, and grabbed a cheese wanton that was just hauled out. He looked at everyone, who was staring at him.
“What? I’ll find a way to keep him in line,” He stated as he took a big bite out of the cheese wonton.
“By the way, Legion likes these. Good job.” He stated nonchalantly.
Iris nodded in approval, and silently whispered, “Yes! Someone likes my cooking!” to herself when Ixen wasn’t paying attention.
Mahajarah - March 13, 2008 03:50 AM (GMT)
The next day, Ixen and lily were sitting on the couch, talking about nothing, talking being a kinder word for ‘ixen getting chewed out for looky-touchy.’
Ixen was stating that it was legion that had taken over his body, but she was apprehensive on this, stating that he probably wasn’t complaining about the groping either.
Ixen looked away quickly, so she wouldn’t see that she was right on that assumption… but she DID.
They were interrupted by Jase, Genrin, and Iris heading out from the office, and starting to the front door. “You going to go,” Ixen asked in curiosity.
“Yeah. We’re heading out. If we’re lucky, we should get this job finished by tonight.”
“Are you sure you’ll be okay,” Lily asked with concern. This caused Iris to smile lightly.
“We’ll be home before you even miss us.” She said cheerfully.
“And with that, we’re off.” Jase commented walking out the door. Genrin and iris followed There-after.
A few seconds past, and Keiro shot in the room.
“Did they leave without me?” He asked hastily. Lily, in slight surpise, nodded. Normally, this would have scared her, but she had been getting used to the insanity lately.
Kiero’s eyes popped open even wider than they were, and he bolted out the front door.
Ixen stared at the door for a second. “Anyway, they’ll be back safe. I’ve known them for a few years, and I can safely say that they’ll come back.”
Lily stared at Ixen for a second, “You should worry about yourself aside from others right now.”
Ixen’s face turned pale, and he immediately started to run from the couch with lily in hot pursuit of him.
As light faded, they were at the mark’s location, a family burial cave used by certain bloodlines as a catacomb…Or used to be. As of such, the cave that used to be there had been chiseled out into a square entrance way with marble steps been placed in.
“Well, this is fancy,” Iris said in a joking manner. Genrin and Jase stared at the tomb with little emotion. “Yeah... it seems to be…If it were really a tomb.”
Iris shrugged. “Well, most people don’t see through things like we do.”
The three headed down the steps, each step echoing. Keiro ran behind them and followed suit. “Sorry, couldn’t find my stuff. Ixen hid it again.”
Jase smiled, “The little jack-ass must really like you if he continuously messes with you.”
Keiro rolled his eyes and muttered, “If I hid his claws, he’d try to rip my throat out.”
As they reached the lower chamber, lit with LED light’s, the echoing seemed to stop as they reached the bottom, and the marble changed from white to green. The enitre room with covered with it, wall to wall, even the ceiling. This signified that there was a important burial here And indeed, as they reached the bottom, there was a glass case in front of them, holding the remains of a beautiful brunette.
Jase stomped the ground, causing a major reverberation to echo flood the room. It bounced along the room except for one small panel to the left of the glass case. Jase knocked on the panel to find that it was hollow, and attempted to remove the panel. Unfortunately, it didn’t seem to make a difference what he did, as it seemed to be purely Electrical. Iris set her hand on the panel and sent a wave of electricity through it.
This caused the panel to short circuit and pull upwards, revealing a button. Iris shocked the button as well, causing a side panel behind her to explode, which caused the glass case to open up. At this point it was apparent that the glass case was actually empty, and that where the body was, a scroll that had various ninjutsu symbols etched on it laid there in its stead. The body was merely genjustu. Genrin felt where the ‘body’ was and felt a give in the marble.
He punched the marble, causing it to shatter and fall apart, revealing a dark and dank hole.
Without second thought, Iris, Genrin, Keiro, and Jase jumped into the hole, and hit the floor, which was covered in dank and sour water.
Upon this, Jase silently pulled out a small vial and poured it into the water. The water purified.
Iris pulled out a small light and activated it, revealing exactly WHY the water was foul.
It was floating with various bones and rotting pieces of meat, but thanks to Jase’s purification liquid, the meat and bone had become fresh, and therefore had no amount of rot left to it. They wasted no time wading through the now stagnating water, and reaching the opposite end of the tunnel, which had a huge entrance to a cavernous room.
There were candles lit that illuminated the room, revealing a huge amount of bones lined around it. In the left corner was the mark’s body, rotting at an extremely un-natural rate of speed.
“Well, we found her,” Said Genrin Grimly, looking at the body.
“Let’s get this over with,” Iris stated, lifting up a small bag, and lifting out some powder from it.
She walked over to the body and tossed the powder onto the head of it, which caused it to twitch repeatedly and the rest of the meat on it to disintegrate completely.
“Well, glad that’s done,” Keiro said, cracking his knuckles, “Now can I kill the bone guardian?” Confused, Iris turned around and saw a giant mass of animated bone.
It had to be something that had been awakened as a side effect from the powder, as nothing in this kind of manner would happen normally, or something they had stirred. Apparently, this is why the lawyer offered them so much money. He didn’t think they’d come back alive.
“I’ll take that as a yes.” Keiro said cheerfully, and formed a few handsigns.
“WIND STYLE:WIND TEAR JUSTU,” He yelled as he punched the ground as hard as he could. Immediately, a twister of wind and rock formed and shot forward, engulfing the animation. Bones, small chunks of rock and soil, and debris flew everywhere. When the twister faded, what remained was a giant floating eyeball, pristine and clear, about 1 foot tall.
“Well, that’s not a good thing,” Keiro said, smiling. “Hey, At least ixen’s safe at home and not in danger. Don’t think he could handle another demon.”
Immediately, almost like a retort, bones flew out and engulfed the eyeball, forming a body of misshaped and inappropriately aligned bones, making it the height of Keiro. “Here goes!” Shouted Keiro, forming hand signs as the demon rushed WIND STYLE: SONIC VORPAL JUSTU!”
Keiro formed his hand flat and raised it up like a sword, and brought it down onto the demon, causing it to go flying backwards. It was being pushed back by a flat blade of wind. Keiro steadily ‘slashed’ at it, causing it to eventually become pinned against the way as it’s natural armor was chipping off. It darted forward again, unfazed by pain, and lunged at keiro’s throat with a sharp and jagged hand.
Keiro met the demon with his own hand, causing a loud clashing noise. He brought his free hand, and hit the demon with his open palm, causing the demon to reel backwards. Keiro darted forward, “Come on, you’re supposed to be a vengeful undead thingy, act like it!” He yelled as he axed kicked the eyeball into the ground, smashing it, but it regenerated immediately, and tackled Keiro into the wall. Iris shook her head, “At least he’s right about one thing. Ixen’s safe."
Mahajarah - March 13, 2008 03:56 AM (GMT)
Fourth
“Well, you’ll fight a demon, but now me?” Lily yelled, carrying a 125 pound war hammer with little ease. She wasn’t helpless, like most people thought she was. In reality, in her old village, she was training to be a member of the guard, and she was in the top of her class. The hammer, which was ixen’s, wasn’t what she was used to, but she’d get used to it. After all, a guard had to be versatile.
She walked into a small room. “WELL?!” She shouted, smashing a rather unfortunate stool with the huge head of the war hammer. Ixen, who was hiding behind the door, slowly poked his head out. Lily looked behind her quickly, only to see a small cloud of dust quickly disappear. She promptly brought the hammer to the ground, and swung upwards behind the door, hitting nothing.
Ixen ran down the hallway as fast as he could while chanting the mantra ‘hide!’ to himself. He ran out of the west wing and jumped to a 3rd floor platform, and ran inside. So far, he’d had great success in hiding from the rather pissed of lily.
He ended up running and hiding inside a locker on the 3rd floor bathroom.
Ironically, it was his, as the others were locked. He stood there, listening for lily, and heard nothing. Obviously he had lost her.
“Well, you’re enjoying this, aren’t you,” Thought Ixen.
“Actually, no. She’ll aim for the head, and therefore, me, so in reality I’m actually kind of pissed.” Legion retorted.
“What don’t tell me you’re afraid of her?”
“Me, an acolyte of terror, afraid of a frail woman, Never! The hammer is a slightly different manner, in any case.”
“So you’re not even immensely afraid of the girl that carries it.”
“No, In fact, I had the chance to kill her, but I deiced to enjoy her rather oh-so very sweet fear instead. Had I known THIS would happen, I would have killed her instead, and shredded the corpse.”
“A little too late for that, I’m afraid. In fact, it seems she’s more interested in YOU that she is in me.”
“That’s very likely. But you absorbed me, so in fact, that means she’s after you because you contain me now. Good job.”
“If you’re such a bad-ass, why don’t you come out of that little hole you’ve crammed for yourself and show me how it’s done?”
“Sorry, but that’d be too much like HELPING, and I’d rather see you suffer at my expense than help the person that’s damned me to live inside a human’s dying mind.”
“Jack-ass,” finished Ixen in anger and frustration.
Ixen, deciding that he had spent too much time in one hiding spot, darted out, and turned the corner, and ran silently down the hall into the entertainment room that was up here.
He darted in and shut the door, locking it as he shut it silently. He was safe for the time being.
He looked behind him and surveyed his surrounding.
A flat screen T.V. and a giant couch, with a few gaming systems strewn here and there, along with a desktop in the corner that was Genrin’s, which he envied mostly because of the strength that baby had.
“Well, what’s your story?” He thought. “How you come to be?”
“The matters of the story are long and inconsequential to your health. Plus, I don’t feel like talking to you any more than I should.”
“If you go ahead and tell me, you won’t have to later.”
“Fine, but don’t say I didn’t warn you.” Ixen walked over to the rather unused couch and flopped down, curious.
* * * * * *
“About nine thousand years ago, there was a rather dark ritual that took place. Sacrifices, forbidden texts, appetizers and punch... You know the drill. Anyway, the ritual was to summon the cult’s messiah, someone that would bring darkness into the world and do as they saw fit to the members to further their cause. Unluckily for them, I had decided a long time ago that their view was clouded and that they need not to stay in the word any longer than they had.
After clearing out the entire room, I decided to read up on my history. Most demons are inarticulate and unlearned. They would rather torture a scholar for fun, rather than for knowledge. Interested in what the humans that had written the book had to say, I lurked around for millennia, killing and feeding on villages every few century or so until the nine-tailed fox demon became this earth.
Now, the appearance of a huge demon in the middle of a ninjustu site meant two things. One, there would be tons of fear and death, and Two, now I had to play my cards right, as fear would become scarce when used up in a large amount. Sure enough, a few years later, I raided a small village far, far away from a large city, and they were bold in their defenses and almost seemed delighted to fight me.
You wouldn’t know this, or you might, but humans actually take each others recent emotions and it spreads over tons of kilometers. In this case, fear leads to anger and strife, and then the war machine opens up one eager eye to the world… and it did.
Have you ever heard of a ninja clan known as the uchia?”
“In all honesty, I’ve only heard rumors. Something about a traitor and the clan being extinct now.”
“Right. Well, for example, the last son, named Sasuke, tracked down his brother and attempted to kill him. This led to a conflict between his friends and family, and led to him backstabbing all of them and going to the Scion, orochimaru, to attempt to gain strength to kill him for the betrayal of his clan.
What humans DON’T know is that the reason he did this wasn’t because of his mind, it was because of the event of the Fox demon. The emotions spread out, and affected Sasuke’s brother, Itachi, more than others. This lead to him turning into a beacon of hate and fear, those recent emotions being released, and also boosting his overall power.
Unfortunately, humans are weak-willed, herding to their instincts among other things. He succumbed to his inner power and slayed his entire clan, and instructed his brother, whom he had spared, to do the same. As such, the brother being young and moldable did indeed live a life of hate and anger, a product of fear. Due to this incident, this caused a major uprising in the flow of the world, and led to a major battle between multiple ninja’s.
Can’t say I wasn’t surprised several years ago, when Konohagakure New Hokage died due to stress related injuries due to that battle. Anyway, this all came as a result of the fox demon. As such, my feeding had dramatically reduced. This brings me back to several years ago, when I had invaded and plundered a temple far along the coast of the land of fire. You wouldn’t have heard of it, they swore a life of complete solitude about three thousand years ago.
But I digress. I stormed the place, and interrogated the people inside to learn where I could indeed find fear and corruption in the land still, and to re-introduce fear and humbleness into area’s where it was lacking. After a rather successful bout and a full belly, I raided its library, which was extensive, Really, I could grab you a few tombs, you’d be surprised at the jutsu you coul...”
“Just get back to the story.”
“Humph. Typical human. With what I learned, and some turn of phrases, I led to some of the events that help the land become humble with themselves again, and calmed themselves down, the most significant the discovery of Itachi, which released all that hate and fear he and his brother had back into the land. Lovely too, aged fear is.
Anyway, When all of this was solved, I had tons of fear to gorge upon, and I DID indeed gorge… until a few weeks ago. Apparently, a group of hunters fell upon me when I was feeding on a small young girl from this village. They open fired, so I had no choice but to kill them slowly and painfully instead of quickly and painfully.
“Don’t you mean quickly and painlessly?”
“No. Don’t interrupt again; I know how to give you migraines. I found out the village whereabouts, and I corrupted a local clan to worship me. Not that hard, a murder here, a revelation there, you have them groveling at your feet. They paid some ninja to mop up the survivors, and then I had some… You know, why I didn’t just SHARE this information with you...”
“What are you…?” But ixen didn’t finish, as he grabbed his head and fell to the floor, gasping in agony silently. After several seconds, he got up and sat back down again.
“You see?”
“I’d rather not,” he muttered in pain, having just had about eight hundred years of information pulled into his mind.
“Normally, you’d go insane, but my mere presence prevents you from this. When I eventually leave this body, you’ll lose this information, but not the information you would learn on your own. Anyway, I destroyed the village, and it’s a good thing too, as someone from that village was destined to destroy me… Come to think of it, that girl could possible be that person. Anyway, no way to kill me now, seeing that you’ve absorbed me with that Demonic Seal… unless someone knew the Dead Demon Consuming Seal, but that couldn’t work due to the curse mark. It’d have to be released first.
I think that’s about it, the gist of it I just poured into your head. Thankfully, you’re stronger than the average ninja. That much specific elemental chakra is not found normally. You have some significant breeding behind you. If only you hadn’t been removed from your village, you could find out your destiny.”
“Shut up,” Ixen muttered.
“If only you could find them, you could properly thank them for your abandonment and perhaps even sit down to dinner…”
“Shut the Fuck up.”
“…and say the word’s you’ve been dying to say to your birth parents for years.”
“SHUT THE FUCK UP NOW!!”
Ixen then grabbed his mouth shut, and unlocked the door, ready to run. As he opened the door, he ducked as a war hammer head flew past him.
“Well, that was a good snack.”
Legion remarked, and ixen was a little too busy to retort to that comment. As he ran into the living room, he suddenly stopped at the sight of a rather dirty genrin, jase, and Iris, and a cut-up keiro. “What the hell happened to you guys,” He asked in surprise. He also heard a whooshing sound to his left. He turned his head just in time to see a twirling war hammer nail him straight in the chest, sending him flying into the opposite wall five feet above the ground.
“Making friends, eh?” Remarked an entertained Jase.
Ixen didn’t respond, as he was unconscious…But only for a few seconds, as he got up slowly and painfully, grabbing the war hammer as he did. He, in anger, threw it at Lily Violently, who was across the room. She caught it easily and without difficulty.
Ixen brushed himself off, walking towards Keiro, deflecting the oncoming war hammer with his hand, sending it back at lily, who barely ducked, the handle being inopportune to grab that time.
“What happened to him?” Ixen said with concern, looking at keiro. He was cut-up rather well, and was really out of it, his eyes coming in and out of focus. “Probably got knocked in the occipital plate with heavy concussive trauma… and how the hell did I kn… Ah, that’s right, eight hundred years.”
“Legion played show and tell?” Asked genrin.
Ixen shot back, “Yeah, but enough about that, what the hell happened to him?”
“Bone demon, Kicked his ass!” Keiro laughed, shortly grabbing his side in pain.
“Easy, I’m not being responsible for your early retirement.” Iris stated.
“Let’s get him to a bed; you’ll be able to heal him there.” Ixen stated. As much as he hated Keiro, he was like a brother to him. After all, he was the only person that truly took to him when he first came into the Murasama…and by took, aggravated to no end. Still, this allowed the others to get a better grasp onto his personality and his skills early on which allowed Ixen a better life than he had before.
As Genrin laid keiro down, and iris began to prepare for her healing hand ceremony, Keiro glanced at Ixen. “You want to know what happened, did you?” Ixen nodded. “Fine, Here’s how it went.”
Mahajarah - March 13, 2008 04:00 AM (GMT)
Keiro pushed against the demon as hard as possible to prevent himself from nailing the wall again. As he did, he formed more hand signs, and brought up his hand again, forcing a Vorpal into the demons chest, sending it flying. As it flew, He threw another one, slicing it’s eyeball slightly. When it landed, it charged again, bringing it’s hand up. Keiro dodged this, and noticed the wall it hit had a large gash it in. It could mimic Justus’s.
The demon brought it’s hand down, forming a swirling funnel of bone that it sent at Keiro. Keiro brought his hand down, forming another tornado, and shot it forward to intercept the bone. They collided, causing rock and bone to fly everywhere. Keiro used this moment to pull out 2 kunai and throw them at the demon. They flew forth fast enough to shatter its knee-caps, causing it to crumple. Keiro followed through, jumping on the rock that was in mid-air, and appearing in front of the demon, surprising it.
“Peek-a-boo,” Yelled a delighted Keiro in mid-air, before arc-kicking the demon several feet forward. When it attempted to get up, it noticed that It was floating off of the ground.
“WIND STYLE: WIND TUNNEL JUTSU,” Keiro said optimistically, as the demon shot forward into a wall at 155 miles an hour, causing the bones to shatter apart. Keiro formed a Vorpal blade, attempting to slice the demon’s eyeball, but some bone fragments shot upward, and engulfed his hand, causing sharp gusts of wind to fly out and cut him. Mostly it hit his side, and his forehead. He smashed his engulfed hand into the ground, and flipped backwards, hitting the now-reformed- bone demon. It flew backward, but stopped his slide by grabbing the ground.
“Do you think you can escape death this long?” A voice echoed from nowhere.
It stood up, and brushed itself off, with little success, being bone and not flesh. The eye looked at Keiro, who was slowly getting up from his kick, and it’s pupil pinned. Keiro immediately froze. The bone demon immediately formed a few hands signs, meticulously, and brought them to the ground. Bone formed around Keiro, engulfing him, and the bone began to condense.
“You’ll join us soon, arrogant one.” The demon echoed. A muffle voice said, “Nah, not my style.” The bone flew apart, and Keiro gasped for air, and as he did, the air in the chamber began to flow towards him. The demon darted forward, and just as he was about to slam into Keiro again, Keiro opened his mouth and yelled, “BOOM!”
A huge bass wave came out of his mouth, blowing the demon backward. As it got up, it was foot-to-eye with Keiro again, this time the foot blew out its eyeball. This caused the demon to grab its head in pain. Keiro took this moment, to slide under it, and form a Vorpal blade, cutting it effectively in half. He shot upwards, between the two half’s, and thrust his palms out to the side, knocking the half’s a good 50 feet away from each other.
Keiro smiled triumphantly, and paused. He looked at the half to his right and noticed it dragging towards him, and ducked just in time to prevent himself from getting crushed by the other half, both half’s colliding together violently, forming the demon again. It attempted to stop Keiro, but he rolled out of the way. It slammed the ground, and Keiro ran away from the funnel of bone that ensued. As he ran, an idea formed in his head. He suddenly turned around and ran towards the bone.
The demon’s pupil enlarged in curiosity as it saw this. Keiro was on the funnel, and he set his foot to the side slightly, and was soon running across the funnel’s side. As he ran, hopping over the spines that were forming on the funnel, he formed multiple hand signs. The demon jerked his hand out and grasped it shut, causing the funnel to blow apart, sending Keiro into the air.
It formed a spear out of bone and threw it as hard as it could at Keiro. It hit, shooting straight through his shoulder… Or so it seemed. The spear shot threw Keiro, but Kiero’s form dissipated into waves of wind.
It looked around and looks behind itself, the eyeball revolving around. It, however, failed to grasp where Keiro really was… over him. It jerked it’s upward, and saw Keiro, finally finishing its Jutsu. “WIND STYLE: TYPHOON BOOM JUTSU!” Keiro brought his hand together and forced them down. A huge condensed tunnel of wind formed and shot at the bone demon. Its pupil enlarged and it was caught.
An unworldly scream echoed, and the demon’s body began to break apart. When the body broke apart, the eye remained, and became more defined, no longer transparent.
When this happened, the bone that was around it formed into their coresponding skeletons, and they seemed to glare at everyone in the room.
A specific one formed, in front of Keiro. Its skull had a symbol etched into it. “Sleeeeeeeep.” It echoed, “We can finally…resstttt.” As this was said, the skeletons walked slowly towards the eyeball.
It glanced around in terror, floating. “WAIT! This isn’t what the family agreed on!” The skeletons stopped. “I prevented robbers. I Prevented violators. I STOPPED PEOPLE LIKE HIM FOR STEALING YOUR REMAINS!”
The main skeleton rigidly walked toward the eyeball stopped. “Prevented?" It asked irritated, apparently no longer into it's slurred words. "PREVENTED?! HA! We didn’t ask anything from you! What are the dead to do without rest? And besides, we’re DEAD! Our bones mean nothing, aside from your kind, Bone-eater!” With this said, many voices echoed in anger, and a few skeletons clawed at a rusted shut hatch on the wall. It gave way, and they pulled out rusty spears from within the cabinet.
The eye attempted to dart away, but a few skeletons held it still. Keiro grabbed his side in pain, and began to fall but genrin ran behind him and caught him. “Thanks man.” Keiro said.
“Come one. Jase and Iris were able to find the mark and seal away its soul in a different ante chamber hidden by remains. It’s done, and they’re outside waiting. Let’s get out of here.” Genrin stated, carrying Keiro by his shoulder into the water, as echoing tortured screams followed behind them. Several skeletons walked to the side of the wall and grabbed at it, revealing a sliding panel. They slid the entrance way shut and the screams of the bone eater began to fade away.

Ixen nodded as Keiro finished his story.
“Well, Sounds like something I could have handled.”
Keiro glared at Ixen, “Yeah, You already had your fun. Nice try though.”
Ixen laughed, “Get some sleep, dip-shit,” He said, sneering at Keiro and walked out of the room.
Later that night, Ixen was sitting outside on the balcony. He was staring at the full moon that was out, it illuminating him in his black shirt and black jeans. His shirt had the English words, “Original Bad-ass,” Printed on the front. He was glaring at the moon as if it owed him something. A slight wind was blowing, making his hair wave slightly in the slight gust.
“It’s not going to respond to you.” Legion calmly said to Ixen.
Ixen didn’t respond, still sitting down and glaring. “Well, if you aren’t looking at it in rage, and you certainly aren’t looking at it for it’s beauty, then why are you?”
Ixen still didn’t respond.
“Tsk” Was all that Legions responded with.
Ixen continued to stare at the moon for at least five minutes, when he saw out of the corner of his eye, lily. She was wearing a night gown, silk. She fit well into it except at the chest, which protruded out a little more than it should, probably because it was mean for a C-cup and she was a D. It wasn’t restricting, but it was still tight.
“Let me guess, here to push me off the balcony?” Ixen shot at her angrily.
Lily looked at Ixen blankly.
“No, too simple, you’d rather nail me in the chest with a war hammer, and watch me die from internal bleeding.” He shot back hatefully.
Lily still stared.
“Well, if you going to take your damn shot, do it now.” Ixen said, standing up, baring his chest.
Lily shook her head. “No. That’s not why I’m here.”
Ixen looked at lily sourly.
“Gee, you see so intent on hurting me, you could have fooled me.”
Lily slowly walked toward Ixen, who promptly brought up his guard. In respond, she brought up her hands and said, “I have nothing, calm down.”
“That doesn’t stop you from nailing me.” Ixen said, slowly putting down his arms.
“True.” Lily admitted. “But… but I…” She stopped walking, and put her face in her hands.
“Oh god, that’s not good.” Legion thought.
Sure enough, lily glomped ixen, crying softly.
Ixen, taken aback, shrunk away at first, but only for a second. He stood there while Lily softly cried on his chest. How could he blame her for tears? Her family was probably dead, her home village was wiped off the face of the map by a fear demon who he knew didn’t care about any human, and finally, everything she had ever cared for had been taken away from her.
“God, I’m so sorry.” She softly said.
Ixen stared at her. “Don’t be.”
“No.” Lily said, beginning to calm down. “You were right, it wasn’t your fault. I just… I …”
Ixen brought her up a little so that she’d be face to face with him.
“Do I really look hurt?” He laughed slightly.
Lily stared at ixen. “Not…really.”
“Then why are you crying?” Ixen said, smiling warmly.
Lily started to say something, and then paused. “Well, I’m not certain. There wasn’t much left for me in the village. No rights, No parents, no home… I only started to join the guard to ensure my survival, but now that’s not an issue.”
Ixen’s face turned grim. “What do you mean no rights?”
Lily looked into Ixen’s eyes. “They… They traded women there.”
Ixen was taken aback, and would have jerked backward if lily wasn’t still holding him. “They kept their women and wives under control. I was one of the lucky ones about to join the guard due to lack of men. They needed the people anyway; there was talk and fear of revolution.”
“Fear.”Ixen thought. “That must have been why you were drawn to the village.”
“I do not care what rebellion or what crusade is in the midst, as long as fear is present.”
“You’re a superficial bastard. How can something have almost no emotion?”
“Demon. Predatory demon, for that matter. Humans are prey, nothing more.”
Ixen cut off his thought from Legion and focused back on lily. “You know, that is without a doubt one of the sickest things I’ve heard. Women have rights and they deserve them.”
Lily Smiled slightly. “Oh, really? Such as?” Ixen stopped, obviously unprepared.
“Well… For starters, the right to an opinion, and the right to choose what they should own…”
Lily still watched ixen and asked, “You’re cute when you’re shy…you know that?”
Ixen stopped, And said, “What??” as a sweat drop formed on his forehead.
Lily Giggled, “What’s wrong? Never been hit on before?”
Ixen said, “I thought you hated me?”
Lily smirked, “I Did. But for the last few days, I’ve gotten used to you.”
She leaned forward a little, causing ixen to lean back a little.
“Still shy?” She said slyly?
Ixen took a step back, “What are you doing?” He said nervously.
“I never thanked you. You found me, you went to my village and handled what destroyed it, not to mention saved the survivors.”
Ixen stopped, “What are you talking about, there were no survivors.” He stopped, bringing his hand to his mouth.
“You don’t have much common sense, do you?” Lily smirked again.
“In a building a little ways in the woods, an abandoned Curry restaurant, there was a panic cellar, almost nothing can get inside of it. You must have seen it.”
Ixen was pleasantly surprised at this, “You mean… There could have been Survivors?”
“Well, I’m sure they’re long gone by now, and I’m not sure how many people got too it, but from what I saw, the majority of the children and women were heading to it while the guard was engaging the demon.”
“You little bitch. I knew something was up with that building. No aura, no scent, NOTHING! GRAHH!! If it wasn’t for that female ninja and that ice-using pretty boy, I could have gotten more food, you stupid, Arrogant, daughter of a ha…”
Ixen shook his head, “How come we didn’t find it?”
Lily threw her hair back, “It’s well hidden; only the women and the few good men knew about it.”
Ixen saw in the corner of his eye, in the open doorway, Jase standing there. He nodded his head, and walked out of the doorway.
“Well, this is indeed good news.” He started towards the balcony, leaving lily’s arms. He stared into the moon again, this time in relief, almost if a debt had been repaid.
“Is there anywhere they can go?”
Lily nodded her head, “Rebuilding isn’t possible, so they’d head to a second build site, planned by a resistance faction, several kilometers away from here. They’ve probably already started.
Ixen smiled. “Well, at least the battle did SOMETHING good.”
Lily walked behind ixen. “I still haven’t thanked you yet.”
Ixen looked at lily. “I said you didn’t have too.”
Lily nodded, and a devilish grin formed on her face. “But I’m going too anyway.”
Ixen started to question what she meant by that, but he never got the chance, as she tackled him from the side, kissing him as she did. It was exquisite. For the first time in a long while, Ixen felt something he hadn't felt in a while. Happiness, true... unbridled... Horror. His eyes shot open as he realized what was happening, ableit a little too late. His eyes turned to a yellowish hue and his eyes turned from dark brown to crimson. "Naive Human." Was all that Legion said, now in control of ixen's body, raising from the chair he was sitting in.
Lily wasn't nearby, and jase never heard what they were talking about. In fact, no one was near him. Genjutsu is so much easier to do when you're in somebody's brain. He looked at the body, the left half's skin now a clammy grey, with that arm having three clawed fingers. He'd get used to it's limitations, at least enough to kill that bitch that ran away from him. Her fear would be so sweet, it'd be intoxicating.

It didn’t take long for Keio to sense something was wrong. Normally, it took a lot to wake him up out of his sleep, but in this case, a simple fall of a vase jerked him awake. Bandaged from his last battle, he had drifted to sleep several hours ago before the fallen vase had shattered that once was thought to be solid slumber that he was famous for.
Keiro tiredly glared as his alarm clock. The Burning red numbers on the clock’s displayed ‘5:12’. “Lovely, I didn’t get my 12 hours of sleep.” He slowly but surely pulled himself up. His body still ached from his last battle, but there was nothing he could do about that. What he could do, at least, was inspect the noise upstairs. He got out of bed, slipped on a pair of his pants, and opened his door.
The lights in the house were on, dimmed at night to save energy. He could barely see, but he could see well enough, after thanks to what had happened to him long ago, Night was never an issue for him. Neither was typical injury, for that matter. He started to slowly walk towards the staircase that led to the second floor.

It wasn’t going well for the young man. He had been fighting the fever on and off for the last few weeks. The village had been gathering herbs and medicines for the last few weeks to help the man along with his sickness, but to no avail. Indeed, The fever had a strong grasp upon him, with little intention of releasing it’s comatose grasp.
The elder of the Village had been contemplating several things on his bind for several days now. Although he had once thought this fever was healable, it was beginning to look the opposite. The village doctor had recommended that the man’s plot be dug ahead of time so as to not inconvenience the village. This brought much sadness to the elder, as the man had been on of the village champions, and had fended off many a highwayman that could have attack the village.
Thinking deeply, the elder quickly thought of a solution, albeit rash. It would also mean the man could never return to the village due to the danger involved, but it was a risk worth taking. For all that this man had done, anything was worth doing for him.
The elder summoned for a vial of Kitsune blood. When it was brought to him, he looked at the vial intently. The vial contained a phial of Kitsune blood. The blood, when infused to a human, strengthens them and makes them lose their mind periodically, but it can cure any sickness and greatly prolong their life. However, most people who drink the potion go insane and can no longer function as they used too.
With this in mind, the elder opened the sick man’s mouth and poured the blood into it. Immediately, the redness in his face faded. Shortly thereafter, four of the village’s men picked up the young man and carried him away from the village, setting him down in a white flower patch. The man awoke, not knowing where he was, what he was, or who he was supposed to me. However, when he looked around, he saw no one, the men running away hastily, not wanting to see if the man had gone rabid from the potion.
He was alone. Not that he minded, since nature seemed to embrace him so lovingly. He glanced up to the pristine sky. “It’s going to rain soon.” Thought the man. He got up, and darted into his new home… the woods.

Kiero slowly walked up the stairs. The atmosphere seemed tense to him. He didn’t have to have mystical blood in him to know that for certain. After a short ascension, He came to the stop of the stairs. He looked around the hallway he was in. He knew that even though he didn’t use the main stairway in the front of the house, that someone had just used this stairway.
He walked slowly down the hallway, noticing nothing unusual. He notices a door in the hallway slightly creaked open. Curious, he walked towards it. No one lived on this hall. In fact, most of these rooms were in here as accessory room’s, used by the murasama as separate entertainment rooms. This one happened to be a parlor, and if someone was here, it wouldn’t be the first time someone lounging around in here.
However, he didn’t smell alcohol, so something was indeed up. Slowly, he opened the door to find the room untouched. He looked inside for a second, and decided nothing was wrong. He then continued down the hallway. He walked for a second before being blinded by a hallway light suddenly turning on. Then the next thing he knew, he was surrounded by food, tons of it. Making a high-pitched squeal of joy, he jumped into a vat of liquid cheese.
* * * * * *
After he hid Kiero’s unconscious body in the parlor, ‘Ixen’, or more as legion , cracked his bulging neck. “One down,” He though too himself. “Oh, am I pissing you off? Well, no matter. Nothing you can do anyway,” Silently chucked Legion in victory. He quickly and silent ran out of the room, locking the door as he exited the room.
Looking down the darkened stairs, he noticed nothing unusual. Not that difficult for him, as he could see in the dark due to his lineage. He quickly descended the stairs, and took the left turn as hard as his ‘body’ could. He darted down the hall, through a pool room, and into the main entrance. The hall was slightly brighter than the others, as it was just beginning to become twilight outside. The light reflected on his animal like eyes.
Quickly, he jumped up to the third floor. He jerked open the door and darted into the hallway silently. Door after door he passed until he came across a familiar scent. Fear. Sweet, sweet fear, potent as well. He smiled as he slowly opened the door. The room was bright...Very bright. The room defiantly needed a make-over. As such, it was brighter than the other rooms of the house. He could also see miles and miles if the light didn’t hurt his eyes as much as it did.
He walked slowly towards the bed, savoring this moment. He glared down at the mattress to see… nothing. Smiling even bigger, he lifted up the mattress. Sure enough, there was a girl underneath the mattress… With a glowing palm. His smile faded as he was blown back with a jolt of electricity.
Slowly he got up, the gaping hole in his chest filling in as he got up. He looked Iris dead in the eye. He then sense the fear in the closet just at the head of the bed. “Well, how’d you find out?” Asked a rather irked Legion. Iris silently pointed a corner of the hallway. Legion glanced in it’s direction, and he noticed a little ‘eye’ staring back at him… a Surveillance camera. Legion formed a ball of black fire in his hand and tossed it at the camera, missing it by a few inches. He wasn’t used to the flow of this body. This’ll be a ‘fun’ fight. He turned around and walked towards iris, who was smiling.
“I’ve never seen a person smile when they were going to die.” Legion commented with glee.
“Then again, you’ve never been knocked in the back of your head with a two-handed sword, have you?” Iris retorted back.
Legion froze for a second, and turned around to see The head of Jase plunging towards him. The force was so strong it actually snapped legion’s neck. Jase hefted up the Fairly large sword he had and plunged it into legion’s chest, and jerked it backwards, slamming legion into the floor behind him, and then slung it forward again, turning as he did, sent legion flying into the lobby over 70 feet.
Legion stood up quickly and violently, catching the oncoming blade as he did, and open-palmed Jase into the wall. He went to drop the blade, but a lightning bolt slammed into the blade he was holding, shocking legion. Legion yelled in pain, and flung the blade at Iris. She barely glanced by the blade, it slicing her arm as she side-stepped it.
Legion took advantage of this by jumping to the third floor where she was. She tried to form a lightning jutsu, but she was cut off by legion grabbing her head and violently tossing her to the third floor. She landed on her feet and sidestepped a blow that would have seriously injured her. Tile fragmented everywhere as legion’s leg plunged into the foundation.
Legion turned around and round-house kick iris, who grabbed his leg and threw it into the air with all her might, causing legion to lose his balance. She then punched legion between the legs as hard as she could. Legion crumpled over in pain for a second, and immediately got up… if his legs would work. He repeatedly attempted to get up but his legs wouldn’t co-operate. “What’d you do to me, you bitch?!” legions yelled out in frustration.
“I hit the magic button.” Iris gleefully stated.
Legion jerked forward clumsily, and tackled iris to the ground, and tossed her into the air. The hit to the ground knocked her unconscious. Legion formed a ball of black fire and threw it at her. Unlike the camera, this hit, causing her to fly into the wall. He reared back for another throw but as he did, he realized his arm was stuck for some reason. He looked as his arm to see it pinned into the wall by a two inch thick, 1 foot long icicle. Legion looked forward to see another icicle fly towards his mouth. “Shi..” was all he was able to get out before the icicle pieced the inside of his mouth to the wall.
Jase walked out of the wall, scraped up, but mostly pissed. He jerked his hand to the third floor, and the sword that was up there flew towards his hand quickly. He nimbly grabbed the blade and readied himself from when legion would pull himself off from the wall, and would assault him again.
The blade was no ordinary blade. It’s was a special claymore used by the higher members of the hidden alchemists’ guild. This particular blade was used to knight him and was bound to him accordingly. It was used during transmutations and as such, it was a very powerful and light blade.
It was about 5 ½ foot in length, the blade being 4 ½, and was intricately designed with various relics and symbols. The alloy was tinted to that of a light cobalt color, and the handle was made with onyx. Its gemstone was a single cat’s eye agate that seemed to look around every now and then. The tang of the blade was platinum, but the blade itself was harder than steel.
A blade of this quality could never be made normally. That’s because his initiation was to make his own weapon, and he did. Using the best of ingredients, he formed his own blade and was knighted with it as such. It was his first creation, and he took it with him before the guild collapsed upon itself. The blade was bound to him in such a way that even his icy chakra could flow into it.
Jase stood there, glaring at legion. He felt a slight tinge of guilt inflicting this pain onto ixen’s body, by in his mind he knew it wasn’t ixen, and that his regeneration would prevent the damage from being permanent. He looked at legion that stood there still and limp.
Suddenly, the right arm flew up to the left arm that was pinned, and ripped out the icicle. Legion’s mouth closed on the icicle, and broke it. Legion slid forward, the gaping hole in his neck regrowing immediately.
Silently, it charged Jase, who formed hand signs with his free hand. A ball of energy formed and he tosses it at the ground, causing icicles to shoot out and form a spiny wall in front of him. Legion jumped over the wall in an arc, and attempted to kick the back of jase’s head. Jase ducked and swung his sword upwards. As he swung, legion stepped on the blade, carrying on it.
Jase responded, by slicing the sword as hard as he could into the wall of ice spikes. Legion jumped off the blade before it slammed into the ice wall. Shards of ice flew everywhere, and legion barely landed on the ground correctly. He and jase met fists, blowing each other back a few feet. Legion closed his fist, causing a jet of black fire to form, and shot forward again. Jase and legion met blade to Fire. They stood there clashing Blades for a moment before disengaging.
Jase threw another icicle at legion’s foot, but he side-stepped the icicle. He was also able to dodge some frozen Kunai, it freezing the ground it hit. Legion cautiously walked toward jase, who attempted to thrust his blade into Legion again. Legion dodged this easily, and shot to his left. His fire blade cut into jase’s arm superficially before he was shot back several feet by a crushing wave of water. He slammed into the wall, and water gushed everywhere. He shot forwards through the water, dodging another wave. He also saw the remains of a hand sign as Jase yelled, “WATER STYLE: AQUOS BOMB JUSTU!”
A huge ball of water formed over Jase’s head. A small chunk of it flew at legion, slamming into the tile below him. The tile it hit shattered and cracked the foundation. Legion ran as fast as the body he was in allowed too as the 4 ft. round ball started to release ½ inch chunks at him, destroying and ripping through whatever it hit.
Legion flung balls of black fire at it, but the fire extinguished upon hitting the sphere. The dark chakra didn’t, however, and slowly but surely began to corrode the justu that was holding the sphere together. In response to this, jase force the ball to legion, who caught it, manipulating the chakra that was inside the ball. He extracted the chakra, and the water fell to the floor, no longer animated by chakra. Legion tossed the ball of chakra at jase’s feet.
Jase jumped over the ball, but the explosion that it caused did something unforeseen by jase. It disrupted his chakra flow. His inner flow disrupted, the explosion knocked him out immediately, but not before he threw a ball of chakra at Legions feet.
It flew too fast for legion to dodge, and it froze him to the wall he was standing on in two feet of hardened ice. Legion smiled at this futile tactic, and formed black fire again. He threw it at his feet. The ice remained unharmed, but the wall wasn’t able to handle the stress, and he fell down to the floor, the ice remaining solid, taking a slight chuck of the wall with it.
Legion glared at the ice. He covered hiss hand in pure fire and grasped the chunk of ice. It barely melted. He took a small piece of metal that was on the floor. The ice made a metallic noise.
“Chakra hardened ice. Lovely.” Legion strained as he forced his feet apart, breaking the ice into two halves. Until the chakra wore off, he now had boots. He jumped to the third floor, not quite making it because of the heavy ice that encased his lower leg, drastically cutting his jumping power. He lifted himself up to the third floor, and slowly maneuvered over the lattice on the edge of the balcony. The ice started to chip off slowly.
As he walked down the hall, past Iris, the ice started to crack. He stomped the ground, causing the left ice blow to shatter, and the right one to crack open enough to get his foot out.
He walked to the end of the hall, coming into sight of lily. He smiled, but something was amiss. Her fear had greatly diminished, replaced with anger. She had become over-ripe. She stood with her huge warhamer, ready to die.
He frowned, displeased with this situation.
“Well, Girl, decide to actually stand up?”
“Oh, I’ve long decided to stand up.” Lily Retorted. “As far as I’m concerned, I’m not going to die to you. I’ll make you suffer for what you did to my village.”
I’ll make you scream for what you did to my friends and family.”
Legion scowled, glancing around. He noticed another weapon that was nearby, an axe that was hanging on the wall.
“Well, Let’s see just how well you can stand on those feet of yours.” He said calmly while walking forward with the battle axe in hand.
Lily stood her ground, while legion raised the axe above his head with his right arm.
The right arm froze and began to shake. Legion looked at it in surprise, just before the axe brought itself down in an sloppy arc that weaved past lily and nailed Legion in his right leg. In pain, legion dropped the axe and grabbed his leg yelling, “YOU SON OF A BITCH!”
A lighting bolt followed this, cauterizing the wound, and causing legion to yell in pain again. He turned around to see iris, her clothes burnt and torn but her spirit still intact. He yelled in anger and got up, turning towards Iris.
The loud CLANK that then echoed throughout the mansion would wake just about anyone up. Legion turned around slowly, looking at Lily. She was smiling, her war hammer slightly bloody due to the blow to legions head. He sneered and his body went limp, slowly reverting back to normal, as he landed on the ground, the left arm shot forward towards lily’s breast again, but this time she backed up and crushed the hand with the handle of her hammer. “Bitch” Was all that legion said.

“How long till the repairs are finished?” Genrin asked Jase. Jase shrugged. “He really did a number on this exquisite tile, but the transmutation should go as planned.” A small complicated circle of runes was on the ground. On it was several blocks of different minerals. Jase stood in the middle, and pulled out two ingredients. One was a small paper with a typical circle run on it drawn with his own blood. The second was something known as an “Igniter”, or a small stone that had essence infused into it
He placed the papers in the middle of the circle, and the stone in the middle of the paper. He set his hand down on the stone, and focused. The stone shattered in his hand and the essence in it flowed down to the paper, which released the paper’s stored power which flowed along the chalk circle. The circle flashed a few times and then violently dissimilated in a flash of light and sound.
In an instant, the floor was repaired and pristine. The miracle of alchemy at work. Jase stood up and looked at his hand. The essence that was in the rock had burned his hand…Always had, always will, that was certain. Most people would have a third degree burn on their hand, but being an ice ninja, he could focus ice on his hands. Noth
