Title: How to score more points in Megaman 2!
Description: Skips does not like Metal Blades...

Akutare - March 11, 2008 02:58 AM (GMT)
Not my video, but I still own it some place. It was from a video called "How to score more points" with a so called Video Game Champion named Skip Rogers. Apparently, he teaches us how to play Megaman, giving us funny "tips". Such as tellin' us not to use the Metal Blade on Woodman and such. Or "Gain a power from each creature".

This is hard to believe, but I think I'M better at the game then he is.
And Megaman 2 is the second hardest game in the original series to me...

I like how his tips don't match the gameplay.

I wonder when somebody is going to begin pointing everything wrong about his guide...

Oh, I do also. The user also posted other games as well such as T & C Surf game, Castlevania II and Double Dragon.

If there's one thing that Skip Rodgers gets credit for, it's that he does actually give semi-useful tips on Top Gun, thought they're fairly obvious.
Honestly, it's people like him that give gamers a bad name, especially since he considers himself a gaming "champion".

That is true.

You kow. Is it me or can he not count in his Megaman video? He said Nine villians stand between Megaman and Dr. Wily.

Also..

The Controler of Champions!

As sexy as the controller looks, I wouldn't consider using it over the NES regular controller.

I remember those. But I was always happy with the boxy NES controller.

I had a differnt joystick NES controller. I think it was an offical NES one. I don't remember.

I had one of those wireless controllers that took Double A batteries.

My main one was a rounded one, a predecesor to the SNES controller.
Unfortunatly, it wasn't as... rigid... as the box one. It recently stopped working with the left arrow, the B button, and the start, so it had to be retired. : (

I love how he skips on how to beat the first boss in Wizards and Warriors...

Yep...

Infact.. I think he skipped alot of bosses.

His Blaster Master tips.

You know.. I found my VHS copy... Thought it got ruined by a sump pump flood.

You get the "air gun" from Bubble Man? xD

VOICE: Jump the tornadoes to kill Air Man.
SCREEN: *Gets hit everytime by a tornado*

If this was more actual I'd think it's supposed to be humoristic.

Love the old-style video edition effects.

"Don't shoot the floating pipe people!"

Classic.

Classic.

He acted like they'd kick your ass or be pissed at you if you shoot 'em.

It's not like in Ganbare Goemon 2, if you hit a villiager, the town attacks you.

Don't forget the classic Cuccos from Ocarina of Time.

Tease one enough times, you end up in an Alfred Hitchcock film.

Or ultima 4.
Kill a villager, and chances are you won't survive the on-slaught of guards that will hunt you down. In fact, in some places, you can never go back.

I still wanna know why Skip told us not to use Metal Blade on Woodman. That or call Bubbz's weapon "Air Gun".

Because he's just looking to get flamed to hell by the guy that restarted Wily's Warriors (who, I'm fairly surprised, actually hasn't commented here). I think REX has been so quiet since he's waiting for that to happen, too.

Part of me wants to make a hand drawn comic of the Warriors saying their opinions on Skip.

Dooooo eeeeeeeetttttt.
It'd be hilarious. More than those videos. >:3

Those videos made me fall out of the chair laughing. In class. (I watched them during 4th after tests. Oh.. the joys of doing nothing~)
It was horrible and hilarious and embarassing at the same time! xD

SpinningDemon - March 17, 2008 03:38 PM (GMT)
"And here's how you fight Metal Man."... he says as he loses health. Huh, didn't know I was supposed to get hit to fight Metal Man, I guess I've been doing it wrong.

What part of Item 2 is a jet-SKI? It doesn't touch the ground, how can it ski anything?

..."world of the Woodmen"? I'm glad that when I played I only had to fight one. What do you wanna bet he thought the Metal weapon didn't work because he tried to hit Woodman while his shield was up? There's no other explanation for why you'd specifically warn AGAINST using the weapon that's good against him.

It's really unbearable to watch that video with all of the wobbly screens and the sound that keeps warping. Of course, it was unbearable enough already *snicker*. What a joker.

Akutare - March 17, 2008 03:54 PM (GMT)
An' by the looks of it. Quickman was about too pummel ol' Skip also. What's funny, he didn't go through all the stages or the Wily stages. Maybe it was too much for him?

He told us to jumped the torandos and they hit him. Bubbleman must've lost Bubble Lead, so now he has an "Air gun" accordin' to Skip. I guess the "Evil Creatures of Megaman 2" were too much for him.

At least in his Top Gun play, he lands the plane... He did a Metal Gear play, but the uloader never uploaded it. I could be wrong.
