http://www.ksn.com/news/local/16611691.htmlWICHITA, Kansas, March 12, 2008 (AP) - A 35-year-old woman who apparently spent two years in her boyfriend's bathroom in Ness City had become stuck to the toilet seat.
Ness County Sheriff Bryan Whipple said today that she was physically stuck to the toilet seat by her body, adding that it appeared her body fat had grown attached to the seat.
Whipple said authorities plan to present their report to the county attorney later today to see if any charges should be filed against her 36-year-old boyfriend.
The woman is listed in fair condition at a Wichita hospital.
Whipple said the boyfriend called police on February 27th to report that "there was something wrong with his girlfriend," never explaining why it took him two years to call.
He said the boyfriend had brought the woman food and water during the two years and told investigators he asked her daily to come out of the bathroom, but she would not.
She refused emergency medical services but was finally convinced that she needed to be checked out. She was taken to a hospital in Wichita, where she has refused to cooperate with medical providers or investigators.
A neighbor tells the AP that he had known the woman since she was a child but said he had not seen her for at least six years. He said she had a tough childhood after her mother died at a young age and apparently was usually kept inside the house as she grew up.

Agreed. I mean seriously, wouldn't she get a serious case of hemorrhoids if she sat in the toilet for a disgustingly long time?
Probably some physiological issues there.

The Boyfriend is a bloody idiot for not calling police sooner.
And humanity has been boned for several thousand years, i won't go into detail but yeah, we're a pack of tards sometimes.

Damnit, just let the woman do her business in peace, leave the cops out of it.

Quoted for the truth. It was obvious that there was something wrong with her to stay there more than an hour, but at that point, she probably should have just been left to suffer if she were to refuse moving.
In-character posting as Mattrex aside, how few people in the world today have at least an OUNCE of common sense? I hope the number's nowhere near as low as I think it is.

Well, sad to say that the media has corrupted our minds, as they completely made us pay attention to celeberties more often and often overlook others. and the cartoons are getting outrageously retarded and the government doesn't seem to care. I think that there isin't a single ounce of common sense left.. ~_~
CenetaurmanE52 - March 14, 2008 02:17 AM (GMT)
And to make things worse..those that DO have good common sense are often having to do the crap work.
I'm currently hoping for Jesus to come down and just slap the common sense back into us.

The media is shaped by what we want to hear or see, magazines report on celebrities because people want to read about them. If a magazine reports on something nobody cares about then the magazine will not sell so the media will only report on what we want to see. In terms of who corrupts who its more than likely we corrupt the media more than they corrupt us.
The government will not ban a cartoon because you deem is retarded, the government will only regulate something it deems a threat to its interests, Spongebob is not a threat to the government or its interests.
The media is not the problem, cartoons are not the problem its stupid people and their stupid scape goats. Everyone of these incidents could have been prevented if the parents had of controlled or supervised their kids more.
