Title: I'ma be bladin'!
Description: And not of the "bey" variety....
SpinningDemon - April 16, 2008 05:11 PM (GMT)
I just got my first set of roller blades. Whoo, exciting stuff! Never really tried it, but I always wanted to learn. I thought I'd have to shell out mad bucks to get them so I didn't expect to be getting them until the end of the summer, but when I was talking to my best friend about wanting to start roller-blading she said she had a pair from a few years ago that might fit me... and they do! W00t! So I now have some sexy roller blades that I can't wait to try out. Hopefully I'll have a chance to take a spin in 'em before the weekend.
I'm gonna be painting parts of it orange too (right now it's black and navy, I'll be coating the whole thing black and then going over details in orange). Maybe I'll post pictures once I'm finished.

I used to blade a lot in early high shool. Congrats on the buy!

...you know I misread that as "Balding."
Enjoy the blades.

I had a pair of inline skates when I was a wee lad... and I sucked horribly at it. XD
Eventually I just stuck with riding my bike for fun. And later still, the internet. Should probably do the former some more; build up some muscle, shed some fat.

You're totally killing one of my jokes here, Top...

At Cap: Me? I haven't even posted again in this thread since I started it, lol, not sure what you mean by that.
Incidentally, I did my first trial run with them today, on a nice safe Suburban street far from obstacles and traffic. It was fun, though I must say I'm pretty damned bad at it. I can make a 180 degree turn with about a 50% chance of not tripping and looking like a complete tool, but braking still eludes me. Hope I improve in time, but it certainly was a great feeling to finally get out and try them. Thank god for summer weather.

Haha, it's so true. That guy's just ridiculous. Thanks for posting that link.
Edit: Incidentally, I can't stay balanced on a skateboard to save my life. And I'm not even talking about a moving skateboard either.

Haha, I was afraid you'd take offense to it.

Nah, it was funny. Besides, there's no sense getting worked up about something that's obviously intended to be humerous. If you were like "d00d, yer such a FAGZ for roller blading hahah", on the other hand... =P
Of course, now I'm half-expecting you to do that in the next post for comedic effect.

Nice! I've always wanted to Rollerblade. Never could get a pair though bleah.
Probably the hardest thing about it would be admitting to your family your gay. xD I'm bi-sexual actually, lol. I already admitted that to them, they're cool with it.

When have I ever done the obvious? Come on, have some faith in me.

Rollerblades ARE pretty faggy.
...
I had a pair in junior high.
