Title: Gameboy Megaman Games
Description: I unearthed my copies!
Akutare - April 30, 2008 04:22 AM (GMT)
I was cleanin' through my game area and found my Gameboy Megaman games! I always carried MMV with me, however, I found the other missing four!
I had these games for serval years and Megaman: Dr. Wily's revenge was my first Megaman GB game. I didn't get Megaman II, III, IV and V until 1995. I got Megaman II from an old game shop that was advertised in my old school EGM issues. Megaman III and IV I got at a Best Buy. Megaman V was given to me. I do wish I could find my Super Gameboy, however.
I remember Megaman IV and V being my favourite out of the GB bunch.
I also took a picture of it. Forgive me for it's largeness in size.
Yes that is a Megaman skin on my GBA. That spotty thing the right is my kitten...
Here be the picture!

It's a plush Wolf I have and thanks!
I still feel lucky to own these games.

I only have the first two. I used to have 3 until Needle lost it.
They were fun to cheat at in my youth.

<3 Megaman V. Had Megaman Mania been released, I would have bought it JUST for that one game. IV is pretty fun too, but there is just something about those stardroids... it felt really unique too, even without the new bosses/areas. And I think I was one of the few who actually liked MMV's music... very underrated. T_T

The only one I never openly beat in my youth was MM IV. After I defeated Ballade, I kept on dyin' at the part with the bombs and collasping level.
I was lucky to get Megaman V on Christmas eve in 1994. It made me happy.. very happy. I also heard it's extreamly rare as well.

I have the complete collection of the GameBoy games; I still enjoy getting them out and playing them every so often.

I only have 2. I got it after some doctor appointment.
So easy. So very easy.

Megaman 2 was the easiest out of the bunch. I beat Megaman V when I got it. It's kinda a shame that Megaman Mania was never made.

MegaMan V... Best GB MegaMan game (in my opinion). I also liked the music in that game. They were catchy... ^.^
I wish MegaMan Mania was made, then I could play 4 and fight Ballade. I heard he's a cool dude!

I agree, but the boss battle is kinda annoying.

Even if Megaman Maina was created, I'd still keep my GB copies.

The MM gb games are gold!
I never liked the first one, though. Even though Enker is one of my favourites. Hell... who DOESN't like Enker?!

MM1GB was so freaking terrible. The difficulty wasn't fun at all. It felt like a chore infact.
And this coming from Enker of the 7Mercs.

I think they improoved when they got to MM3. However, liked MM4 and 5 the best out of the GB libray.
The second one seemed to have smaller sprites, compaired to Megaman's size.

Look at Wily..holy shit.
Also the robot masters looked hideous.

Behold! The tiny
Dr. Wily! The music in MMII for the GB... annoying.
Lord Derg - May 7, 2008 01:07 AM (GMT)
For me, MMIII gb was too hard. Mainly because of Punk. But MMIV and MMV gb are my favourite games.
The fight with Sunstar is my favourite boss fight in the megaman series, actually..

Seriously, what were they thinking when they composed that piece of shit?
Gauntlet101010 - May 7, 2008 02:45 AM (GMT)
Remember: the screen is extremely tiny. Plus, MM2 GB came out near the start of the Gameboy's career. The music sucks, but it's a definate improvement over 1, where the 4 RMs from MM2 were just teleport hatch battles.
Akutare - May 7, 2008 02:57 AM (GMT)
If I am also not mistaken, the Get Weapon screen, is that the melody of the MM3 get weapon music also? I will admit, I liked the title screen music.
