So I was listening to the radio today and heard about this story.
http://www.theage.com.au/news/national/bcr...1653938453.htmlPretty much the guy was hung in 1922 for the murder and rape of a 12 year old girl but was recently cleared of the murder. It's really sad that for 80 years the guy has been considered one of the most vile kinds of people (and he's dead) and the guy who actually did it probably reoffended and certainly got away with it. It's also quite amazing that 80 years on they could do what they did.
Also, I don't intend this to be a capital punishment debate as a case from 1922 isn't exactly the best example for why capital punishment sucks today. Just something I thought i'd share, i think it's pretty interesting so I thought you guys might.
