Recently I've started learning how to use GIMP, and I've been trying to make a signature. I think they're getting progressively better. Constructive advice welcome.

You're a damn good artist! They're pretty good...I like the eyes ^_^

The picture is an edit of something I've had for a while. I was talking more about the blending of the colours and such.

Heres one I made for a friend.

Oh...then I like the one at the top best. The colors and lighting blend really well there.
And that new one is pretty gewd.

Sometimes less is more. That first one actually looks pretty good in the subdued scheme. If you go overboard with the photoshop effects it can just end up looking gaudy. I also prefer signature images to be longer such that they fit the window better. Making short block sigs leaves up lots of unused space to the right in the message window. Wouldn't you wanna fill that space with something delightful? Maybe that's just me.

Either way, fancy effects.

Note: I am aware of the hypocrisy of criticizing sigs for being gaudy and overloaded with visual information considering what I'm using now. I've been meaning to fix this one.

And the size of my current sigs is kinda accidental. I've just started, so I'm still working out what size I like working with. I think I got it right with this latest one I did for Asari

That's also pretty good, although the text in the top right is sorta hard to read.

I like them, very colorful and very creative. Although the text is a little hard to see, but that might just be my vision.

This one was a headache. I had to start over because of how big Punk is at one point.
