Role Play
Rule #1) DO NOT REVIVE DEAD TOPICS! Dead topics that are revived will be locked. No ifs, ands, or buts, unless the lock is revoked.
Rule #2) As I have been shown, there are two basic kinds of RP threads in these forums. The fun, non-serious ones, and the serious, don't-f-around type of threads. I shall lay out the rules for either kind in this topic.
A) Fun, Non-serious threads
There aren't many rules for these kinds of RPs. God-moding is allowed in moderation in these kinds of threads.
B) Serious threads
As implied by the name, these threads aren't the type to be annoying at. The people who participate are expecting a serious RP and wouldn't want any annoyances. This means no one-hit kills and no automatic hits. If you are attacking someone, post your attack and who it's aimed at. Do not post that it hits because this is considered an automatic hit and also god-moding in some circles. Wait for the person you attack to reply. This also goes vice-versa in that you cannot be invincible or avoid every attack that is thrown at you. This would also be completely unfair and god-moding.
C) One-Hit One-Post Kills
OHOP Kills are never allowed. A person must be allowed a chance to respond to attacks. This was just general courtesy, but is now a rule.
This is all I can think of for right now. If anything new comes up, I will modify this post. Thank you for your cooperation. If you want people to know what kind of RP that a certain thread is, put (NS) or (S) in the topic to warn that it is serious or non-serious, if you want to.

1) Use common sence. There's an amount of stretching you can do here before a topic's considered to be spam, but don't push it.
Topics here do not count towards total post count.
