Yeah, I based Heat Man more on his personality as listed in the Sinister Six's RM Database section. So yeah. He's not gonna go blow them up in a fit of rage but... Well actually, you'll see a little later in the comic.

Oh, just a suggestion Jet. You might want to edit your first post in this thread to include comic #4. Because these threads can tend to get kinda long sometimes, so it's easier for people to find everything you've uploaded when it's all in one post. You can still put a link to your new stuff in your "thread updating" posts, but it's still a good idea to edit your first post with the new art for your first-time readers of this thread.

I'm starting to ramble, so I'll shut up now. =P

Hello folks.

Just a quick update today. No comic 5 yet though. Sorry. >_<

So anyway. I like drawing as you obviously can see. I usually try to lean more towards my own style for drawing but sometimes it carries influences from other styles.

Sometimes though I will purposely try to imitate a certain style out of my own curiosity to see if I can do it. I often learn a little something too. Usually I do that out of loving the style or sheer boredom.

Anywho. A while back I came across one of the Mega Man Mangas that Ariga drew. "Orders to Destroy" to be specific. So I instantly grew to liking the art and decided to see if I could imitate to any degree.

I think I've got my own way to draw Heat Man now. I don't plan on doing this style again but I managed a few random scribbles of Heat Mans face......and a strangely happy looking chibi in the bottom left corner. XD

Anyway... Some are ok, some are bad and some just plain suck. Hope ya don't tear it apart too much though. =P

I actually use a lot of different brands of drawing pencils for the shading part. This time it was Staedtler. I use the same ones on my comics too.

The outlines though. Like without shading and such, I use a 0.5 lead Zebra brand mechanical pencil. I love this brand. I've tried several and find Zebra makes the best of the bunch.

Wow, if you're actually going to continue drawing those comics... my hat goes off to you. I could not force myself to do that, then again, you seem like you're damn good at drawing and I'm not. I like the comics.

Pooooooor Megaman. I share his pain when it comes to that section of the stage. Hence why I never enter Heatman's stage without Item #2. :P

Not to spoil your parade, but I HAVE been able to get past that part of Heatman's stage w/o Item #2. Yes, it shows just how awesome I could be.

And yet it still sucks, for Megaman that is.

Random update.
So a buddy of mine pointed out what's called the pen tool in photoshop and how I should learn to use it. So I decided to give it a shot and basically you use it to get smooth lines. I decided a good candidate for fixed up lines was that PU Heat Man I did since I hated the lines anyway. So yeah. I basically redid the whole thing.

Hello folks.

I'm just here with some pencil drawings of a couple characters I'm gonna stick into my comic. As of right now I call them Fetch and Trigger.

So it was another session of random chatter with my buddy on AIM when I came up with the idea of two original robot characters. I decided it would be a fun idea if Wily uses them specifically for retrieving his RMs when they, for whatever reason, can't make it back to the castle on their own.

Fetch is the workhorse. He has to do the actual hauling and uses a powerful energy field to do it. He does have a small weapon on his head kinda like Bubble Man, but it's not really enough to ward off much.

Trigger is the other one. He occasionally carries things too but mostly his job is making sure Fetch gets back with whatever he was sent after in one piece.

They're both going to have the same color scheme so I'm still playing with it. They're both equipped with pretty advanced radios and navigation systems since they have to be in close contact in order to do their job. They are also NOT Robot Masters. Fetch doesn't care as long as he's put to use, but Trigger hates not being a Master class since he's got the weapons and the intelligence, according to himself, to be an RM.

So yeah. There's my randomness at it's most....interesting. Hope you enjoy anyway.

Nice character designs! They fit in absolutely perfectly with the official MM characters, in terms of style.

After going through them all, I must say that is indeed some very good art work you do.

Heheh. Another quickie today. Comic #6 is still in the works. I promise not to take a month to finish it too.

Anyway. Just a pic of the two original characters I thought up. And yes, I'm still playing with their markings and such on their armor. I'll get it eventually. XP
