Mandana recently contacted us with an unexpected offer of some clips from her time on London Bridge.

Already someone has taken it upon themselves to ignore the request not to place this clip on YouTube!
Should people continue to ignore requests we make when we place some items on the site - we will ultimately be forced to put files up that won't allow downloads for the fans!
Once again, this is a small minority who are risking this for the majority and it isn't a step we wish to take because it could reduce the use some fans will get out of possible clips.

We've had problems in the past with people trying to sell clips/pictures and other items on the site- which is why in this instance this request to not copy the file online has been put up! It helps reduce this problem. This also is to not infridge on the orignal copyright holder and their right on the clip!

Despite what some people might think, we don't just put these (often very limited) requests out just to be pedantic but because we have very good reasons behind the decisions. Its a shame others decide they know otherwise.

I said this on the Helen and Nikki board but I will say it again on here as well.
It's such a shame some selfish idiots decide they can do what they have done with the clips. :angry:
I, for one, am just bloody grateful you managed to get something for us to see and absolutely deplore those who seem to think they can do better and know more.
I hope this doesn't spoil other rare clips for us in the future.
Whoever this is, it isn't big and it isn't clever, its actually bloody petty!

I'm fuming over this, and NOT just because ILMJN is my sister, to have been entrusted with these clips by Mandana meant that FANS got to see something they may not have got before ..

It just shows how some people can be jealous that Mandana has faith in what MJN and ILMJN do on this and the other sites ..

WHO EVER IT WAS ... GET OVER YOURSELVES, YOU GIVE FANS A BAD NAME, ANY FANS NO MATTER WHAT GENRE!

I am quietly fuming over this whole thing. We didnt have to share the clips but we did. I know many more appreciate them and love what Mandana allows us. BUT the few that dont really spoil that good feeling for the rest of us.

I hate nothing more than when people steal things off our site!! :angry:

After a lot of talking, don't worry - we've decided we aren't going to reduce the next clip we put online.
Whoever did this was obviously just being narrow minded, and it would be a huge shame the bulk of fans weren't allowed to then download these clips.
So, we've decided to let whoever wants to go off and play, and just concentrate on bringing the next clip to the rest of you.

I am so pleased to hear you won't be curtailing the clips. It is something we can now look forward to.
As for whoever has been childish about the whole matter, I've always believed that the moment this sort of behaviour is shown they cease to be intelligent and indeed cowardly. Good luck to them, because sometimes life is more than just about point scoring, and so they must be leading a terribly unfulfilled life.

Nasty & thoughtless they should be so ashamed of themselves Mandana sent those clips in for us fans to enjoy cant trust no one :angry:

Geez, where thuh heck have I been? I guess I only really go ta thuh "I am..." thread cause I had no idea sumone screwed around wit thuh clips. Thank you ILMJN and MJN fer still offerin' up future clips. Ya'll know how grateful I am fer this board, it's thuh only BG board I frequent and that's cause I know it's quality and reliability. I would say obviously Mandana respects this board and that is THUH HIGHEST confirmation of respect. I am sorry sumone hurt ya'll and betrayed yer trust. Sumtimes I jes don't git people.

Wow...I am so disappointed that someone reposted those clips! They were tasty little bits -- too brief, as someone said, but so generous of her (and agents) to share them, and thank you to MJNet for trusting them to those of us who CAN be trusted. Looking forward to surreptitiously viewing the EE bits at work -- can't view WMV files on the Mac. :(
