I am..... hoping the Neepster and Jaggy aren't too hungover tomorrow (or will that be today?).

I am..... passing on a message to tkay from IM2, who says thank you so much for the post card which arrived this morning. She loves it! :D

I am.... also letting tkay know the post card for us arrived and we also love it! God it doesn't take much to please us does it....... ;)

I am..... still coughing and spluttering here and praying that I do feel better for tomorrow (we go to watch Aston Villa). Its going to be another few days before I reckon we're over the worst of this bug here! But getting there slowly.

I am..... still trying to get brain into gear over 5 things to write. I've come up with one so far! Sorry - have complete brain fry at the moment.

I am.... hoping SK's tooth isn't too bad and thinking of you with that! Not nice at all.

Wen are you going to be able to see a dentist? This many holidays close together suck... I have a suture on my eyeball that's not supposed to be there, so instead of being back to normal after a week it hasn't improved at all in 4.

The sutures were supposed to be soluble and be gone in 2 days, but they used insoluble ones as place holders during the surgery. Ew. I'm pretty sure a specialist wont be working today.

I am...making EWWWWW! noises re sutures + eyeballs. Ick! Poor Jaggy. :hug2

I am...saying that my Dentist doesn't come back until the 7th, and then Lord knows when I'll get to see him. When I went to the emergency Dentist he asked me who my regular Dentist is, and said, "Hmmm, popular guy...I've seen a lot of his patients today." :blink:

I am...also struggling with the five things for my self-description. At this rate it might be down to five words, three of which will be 'grumpy old b*stard'! :o

I am...only half-joking... :P ...actually, that's a pretty accurate description, so I might just leave it there. ;) :D

I am...hoping everyone is well and happy, and hasn't coughed up their lungs or had their eyeballs fall out, or anyfink.

An emergency GP I saw today was all like, "what the hell, I'll give it a go" and removed the suture! And my eyeball didn't fall out. Yay!

I am...sayin' I cain officially say HAPPY NEW YEAR frum North Texas!!! It's 2008 and I turned 48 and I lost 48 of thuh 50 pounds I wuz supposed ta lose in 2007. Not ah bad fulfillment of last years goal.

I am...sayin' I been soo excited ta tell ya'll cause I shared that thuh Doc wated me ta lose thuh fifty at thuh first of last year...Dang, those last two pounds...they have sat thar on me fer several months...no change in thuh diet which is Weight Watchers. It seems I jes stopped losin'. I cain't wait ta see muh Doc's face...

I am...sayin' now thuh biggie job is ta maintain...Now thuh real werk begins.

I am...saying that one of my new year's resolutions is to get back on the 'healthy living' wagon, since I fell of it in a major way last semester...a daily routine of sitting on one's bum all day and eating big bags of crisps for lunch/tea didn't take long to catch up with me... :blink: ...the weight I'd lost over last summer all came back on with avengance, and then some! Buggrit.

...needing to share with everyone that tkay, tonight, while a group convened to watch bad girls, conducted an experimental snack delight: grilled p-nut butter, honey, mini-chocolate chip, strawberry & bananna slices-with-pineapple-jam sandwiches. most of the feed back was silent munching then exclamations of: 'hey, this ain't bad' ... 'these are great!' ...'i wouldn't fix this everyday,' etc. so, if you are up for a gastronomical adventure, i would highly recommend it! (by the way, it was a recipe in the magazine 'cooking light' :rofl no kidding!)

I am.....happy that Aston Villa won their game on New Year's Day ILMJN. I was able to watch the game live on the TV here. I kept thinking it was so cool that you and MJN were sitting there in that huge crowd watching the same game I was watching. I would look for you when the camera would pan the crowd -- not much panning happened. I thought for sure Villa had lost its 3 points (well 2 of them anyway) when Tottenham (that is who they played right?) scored late. But then Villa scored again just a few minutes later to win it. What an exciting finish that was. :D Do you know all the chants and songs?

The two I sent Hetane I found over the last few years and weren't quite complete, but still very cool. I think you should all come here and we can go hike and camp and find whatever we find. I am...saying the weather here's mild rather than warm/hot here atm, but it's been pretty muggy. It's almost 8am here now, and it's about 10degC(50F-ish, I think that is) and overcast, but the next few days are supposed to be fine and in the 20s. Huzzah! :D

Found out y-day that Dundee Utd had asked for y-day's match against Hearts to be postponed, and the SPL refused, even though they'd cancelled several other games because of Phil O'Donnell's death. And then to add insult to injury, the SPL said that only games that had a 'direct link' to O'Donnell would be postponed, and apparently watching the poor man die in front of you doesn't qualify. :blink: It beggars belief. Bunch of arrogant, hypocritical, poo-headed numpties. *ahem*

I am...wundrun if ya'll knew DC Comics has at least three out lesbian comic heroines. Batwoman, Renee Montoya (now, she's become 'The Question', a super hero) and Holly Robinson who wuz Cat Woman fer awhile (her story line is changin'. I think thar makin' her an Amazon as in we may see her in Wonder Woman episodes). All three of these characters are very cool characters...DC Comics has done lesbians proud.

I am...wonder-un if iny of ya'll have read Terry Moore's BRILLIANT "Strangers in Paradise" Collection? It's a comic series. Thuh main character is Katchoo and she is an artist and ah lesbian. Jes another brilliant portrayal of ah lesbian in thuh comic book genre. I highly recommend ya read thuh series. That is if ya cain git into comics at all. Liz is not ah comic book fan but she loves ta help me hunt out thuh hard tew find ones.

I am.... just popping in to let people know I am still just about in land of the living. Massive sinus infection brought about by this flu, and unfortunately because of my arthritis medication I'm not able to use antibiotics unless they are absolutely needed (I would apparently need to come off the other meds and it isn't easy to do because of the other problems with it - so they only do it as last resort). So still not feeling great, although better than I was. MJN unfortunately still also suffering with it - but also slowly getting better.

I am.... saying that IM2 was also going down with either a nasty cold or this flu the other day when I saw her, so she might not be around much for a few days, depending on how it goes. Not spoken for a couple of days so I'm not too sure of her current state of health with it all.

I am.... now going to swallow some more painkillers. Love to you all.

I am...also sayin' that I finished up one set of ah comic series, APACHE SKIES and I got all but one fer another series, RAWHIDE KID. I won't read ah series til I git em all. Rawhide Kid is ah gay cowboy. It's rather humorous as I took ah peek ta see how he'd be portrayed. It's well done.

I am....inviting all of you over tonight for the L Word premier. Can't say I really like the L Word (in fact I really don't on many levels), but we have a group of women who get together every Sunday night for every new L Word episode and have a little potluck and watch. Usually involves much profanity and shouting at the TV, especially every time Jenny appears on screen. :eek I enjoy the laughter and the cameraderie of the women I watch the show with, but to sum up the show it's basically a bunch of lesbians who don't look or act like any lesbians anybody knows and who constantly fight in really mean ways with each other unless they're having sex at the moment. :jaw (Sorry if any of you are big L Word fans - - no offense intended at all). Anyway, come on over for some food, beverage of choice, and good company. :D

I am saying HAPPY NEW YEAR to you all, sorry i haven't been round much. But i to have been in a sick bed and only got out of it yesterday. I came down with bronchitis on the 27th and it knocked me for six.

I am like ILMJN i take arthritis drugs which kill the immune system so when i do get ill it's usually bad. But on the up again. So it can only get a better Year from here on in.

I am saying when i went to the doctor the other day they said they have actually run out of one sort of antibiotic.

I am hoping all those who are unwell IM2,MJNET,ILMJN, Tkay get better soon.

I am wishing Neep good luck with new job, and Lisa glad your so happy.
