Yep not far for us at all, and tickets are booked. Came through on PRU's e-mail that she gets from the theatre.

A great theatre to stage *pun intended* it as well. Love the place - is ideal for this kind of production.

There's some pretty good pictures on the site although you have to really guess as to who plays who.
Is that the same person who plays Sylvia Hollamby on TV? Wow i'm impressed.
They are going to do more shows elsewhere arent they?

Heather Peace from London's Burning and Ultimate Force played Nikki in the workshop, and its her singing on the website. Shes is sexy. Laura Rogers who plays Sheena in the newest series of Bad Girls is playing Helen Stewart.

Thanks to Jamie here is my little review on Bad Girls the Musical that I saw in Leeds!!

I found that the musical was brilliant, it is really, really GOOD, with emotional moments, such as when Nikki (Hannah Waddingham) sings alone in her cell (on the punishment block). I frankly was mesmerised by the striking voice of this actress!!! (which emotionally effected me almost as much as Mandana during the firsts 3 series of BG!!) This especially surprised me because at the beginning I found that she over played the character (to have this "Macho" side ect…) which seemed so natural to Mandana when she played Nikki!!
Other moments of the musical are completely hilarious (very funny) rather "grandiose" (very great)!!! I also though the actress who play Helen (Laura Rogers) was very cute!!!The only thing which was pity for me it is that I didn't understand some of the jokes!! (and there are many!!)
But I hope that this show will play elsewhere, somewhere in London notably, it would be brilliant!!
When I saw the show (June 06th ) it was "The Press Night", thus I think that all the actors(actress) of the show played at 120%!! It was nice!! There were even 2 actresses of the TV series there (Helen Fraser-Bodybag who seemed loved very much the show and the actress who played Monica!!) After the show there was a party which I went to although I stayed only a few minutes (because I was alone, and I felt a little bit alone and a little bit small among all the VIP'!!) There were even all the team of Shed Production there!! Unfortunately I wasn't able to take photos because there wasn't photographer there, and thus I didn't dare to take my camera.

Thank you very much Jamie!!

Excellent. :D

Thank you for sharing that with us, Vero. Sounds like it was a great show, and a great evening. I'm stoked you enjoyed it so much. :)

Yeah, VN, very cool that you had that great experience. I would have loved to have met Jane Rowe (I think that's the actress' name) who played Monica. She was brilliant and she brought Mandana's acting up a notch. The older actress teaching the younger. To me Mandana was so much more intense when she was acting across from Jane. Just me.

But, YEA!!! for you VN, glad your experience was so good!!!!!!

Hi I am new! My name is sarah and I've just turned 16! I was just reading your posts on the musical and I am glad that you enjoyed the show! I also went to see the show and thought it was great! The reason I went to watch the show is because I know someone who was in the ensemble! her name is Siubhan and even though she didn't do as much as other people, I thought she did very well! After the show she got the whole cast but one to sign my programme for me! I very much enjoyed the show! It took a long time to get to Leeds as I live in surrey but it was worth it and I think the musical did the show justice! Luv Saz xXx
