Title: Free posting for Lost & Found pets

MenaPets.org - September 9, 2007 11:23 PM (GMT)
If you would like to get more exposure for your lost dog, or if you've found a dog, visit MenaPets.org and click on the "Lost & Found" link on the left side menu, or the direct link to this nationwide site is DogDetective.com. It has a simple and easy form for you to input a lost pet (including the ability to upload a photo), plus it's a great tool to help find your pet. Right now this site is only a lost & found for dogs, but it is my understanding that there may be a cat site starting up soon too.

Also, if there is enough interest, MenaPets would be willing to put up a Lost & Found page just for the local folks (i.e., Polk and surrounding counties) to use. If interested, please send an email via our MenaPets.org website. Thanx! :thumb:

I never did find my missing spayed shorthaired gray tiger, but I don't see anything even close. She has been missing since 8-1, and I don't have much hope, but thought I would remind Tammy and Katie, just in case. Thanks.

I'm so sorry to hear you lost your pet. :crying: I well know the sadness and pain of losing a beloved animal. *hugs* :hugg:

Have you gone to the shelter to look around? Here is a resource for some tips you can try to help find a lost pet: http://www.petrescue.com/library/find-pet.htm

If you have a pic, maybe you can post it here?

I hope you find your tiger.

I have done most of those things on the site. I had it listed in both papers for 3 weeks, called the swap shop nearly every day, posted flyers and put them in mailboxes in the area (yes, I know, federal offense, but she is a family member) I called animal control and both shelters as well as my vet several times, and she has a microchip. We caught her in neighbor's vehicles a couple times and she loved trailers, so we thought maybe she inadvertently ended up somewhere else. There was a guy shooting cats about a mile from my house, and there are also coyotes not far from my house. If she's still alive and meant to come home, she will. I think she was already "called Home" if you know what I mean. :crying:

Apparently, I don't know how to post a photo
