I know this is an extremely long shot, but as I have posted before, I have a cat that went missing on 8-1-2007 that we never heard anything about. We called all the shelters and Dr. MacDonald's office repeatedly, called in to the swap shop and ran ads in both the Mena Star and Trader for a couple weeks, and no sign of her. We put flyers in mailboxes and in stores, too. We think she probably met a pack of coyotes, but on the off chance that she is still alive, she came up missing from the Bethesda Road/Karen Drive area, but loved to "explore" open vehicles and trailers and may have ridden off to Mountain Fork. We are fairly new to the area, but did live in Nunley on 8 East for a while, so she could conceivably have headed that way, too. She is a 2 1/2 year old spayed shorthaired gray tiger, but looks almost solid gray as you have to look for her stripes. She is good sized, maybe 12 pounds or so, and has a "pooch" belly. She was not wearing a collar, but is microchipped for identification. She was my first cat ever, and I miss her terribly. If anyone knows anything at all about her, my kids and I could use the closure, but would really love to have her back if she's still alive. We're hoping she has just become a fat barn cat. She is "cranky", so much so that her nickname is "cujo kitty". Obviously, she's not real friendly, so I don't think she just went off with a new owner. She is very loving to us, so please pm me if you may have seen my "Jan Jan". Even the dogs and her 2 "little sisters" (the other 2 indoor cats) miss her. Thank You.
