Title: 1950's~Hudson~Hornet~Pace Maker~Drive Master
Description: Great car to restore!!

vibrations - February 25, 2008 01:23 PM (GMT)
We have a 1950's Hudson, Hornet Sudan Pace Maker, Drive Master, 4 door.
We bought it a few years ago from Mena Auto, because it is in really great shape to restore.
When we bought it, we pulled it out of the barn over there. He said that when he put it in there in 1963, it still ran. We just never got to pull off the gas tank to clean it out to check it.
When Wild Willy towed it over to us, he said that there was only one thing wrong with it, and that was he wasn't dropping it off in his yard!!!
But with the physical and financial shape we are in, we have decided to put it up for sale in hopes that someone else can make this wonderful car the beauty that she(or he) truly should be.
$1,500 or best offer. Just send me a pm on here to get our # if you would like to come out and check it out.

Well I guess no one is looking to restore old 4 door doc. Let me add to the deal. We also have a 1989 Chevy Blazer 2 door.
We need to trade the 2 for something that will get us back and forth to Hot Springs due to a much need knee replacement.
The knee replacement will have to be put on hold until we can get reliable transportation.
If anyone knows of anything, please call: 479-243-0469

Is it a Hornet or a Pacemaker? They were two seperate, distinct models. The Pacemaker was the "economy" step-down Hudson, while the Hornet was the performance model, especially with the Twin-H carb setup. I also believe the Pacemaker was on a shorter wheelbase than the Hornet/Wasp.

On the inside dashboard it says Pacemaker, on the truck lid in chrome it says Drive Master.
Sorry about the confusion!
Hopefully someone out there would like to restore this great old car.
Knee replacement is still on hold until we can get reliable transportation.

No, just had to sell this one to try to find something more dependable to drive back and forth to Hot Springs. Really didnt want to sell this one but needed the cash. :crying:
Still have a Blazer to sell or trade. The Blazer needs tires and work under the hood. (oil leak)
