Title: Sending personal messages (pm)

Scotto - April 20, 2007 04:33 AM (GMT)
This forum allows you to communicate directly with other members in several ways via "Personal Message (PM)" or email. There are several ways.

1. From within a topic: Once you open a topic the posts will display. At the bottom of each post are the PM and E-Mail buttons. Click on the one you wish to use. An email-like screen will open. Follow instructions.

Another way is to click on the poster's name in the upper left corner of the post. In the "Communicate" box go down to "Personal Message" and click on "Click Here." An email-like screen will open. Follow instructions.

2. Any time from anywhere: At the top of all screens to the right is the word "Members." Click on it and the Member List will appear. Find the member you wish to communicate with and click on the name. In the "Communicate" box go down to "Personal Message" and click on "Click Here." An email-like screen will open. Follow instructions.

Personal messages can be read only by the recipient.

When you log in to the Mena forum you will see on the same line to the right of your name the word "Inbox (0)." If you were sent any messages there will be a number instead of "0." Click on "Inbox" and read your messages. You can reply and add cc's just as with email. Only addressees can read messages.

PM's can be exchanged only among members.

Do not post PMs on the open forum without the writers permission. This will result in an automatic 7 day suspension.

The message storage capacity is set at 50. Please delete your obsolete messages. However, we'll increase the limit if you request it.
