Anyone know of someone who can weld aluminum?
Apparently the trailer place in town hasn't read the definition of appointment.
I called last week to ask him to take a look at my trailer brakes. Just checking to see
that they are ready to take the 1500 mile trip home.
He said come in at 8:00 today. What's it take to look at brakes 1/2 hour? I had my oil changed, batteries replaced and brakes checked at Leon's in Hatfield in less that 1 hour.
Anyway, did I say it's a living quarters trailer. Like I sometimes live in it. I had to get
up super early to disconnect it, hook it up and drive the thing to town.
When I got there, he acted like we'd never spoken. Well, he'd get around to looking at it. Maybe a couple of days. When was I leaving like that mattered. Anyway
he also said that he could weld the aluminum but he'd forgotten that part. I said I'd planned to wait for it. That didn't help. He didn't even say he'd look at the brakes.
Then finally he said he had someone that comes in at 5:30 that could look at it. Needless to say I won't be going back.
If he'd told me I'd have to leave it I could have left it anytime. I am just amazed. No concern whatsoever from the owner of the shop.
