It's time for spring cleaning again and as you go through your house and find items you no long need or want please bring them to the Critter Corner at the Mena Antique Mall. All proceeds go to the Humane Society of the Ouachitas and help to pay for our vet bills, food, etc. :thumb:

What would be nice is to organize a drive to pick up items that people would like to donate, and maybe have a large sale one weekend to benefit the HSO.

I'd volunteer for something like that.

In the past, we have had a huge rummage sale at the Armory but since Charlie Company is deployed this year we don't have use of the Armory. We are looking for a large place to have a sale and we would love to have you help.

If anyone knows of a place that we could use at a reasonable cost, please post it here or PM me.

With all the empty business buildings around town, there has got to be someplace that would be willing to let us set up in there. :scratch:

We have considered some of the empty buildings but the electricity isn't on and may be a hassle to get it for 1 week. We do have a couple of offers and if they pan out I'll let you know.

I closed our store today and took some nice things down to Kritter Korner. Mostly mugs, some Leanin' Tree ones, some fall and Christmas florals, a pirate bank, large jars of potpourri, dip chillers, teacher photo holders, a doll stand, bows, just lots of stuff that didn't sell and I was ready to walk away. May take them a while to get it on the shelves.
