Q: Who owns the Fairgrounds?
A: The Polk Co. Fair & Rodeo Assoc. owns and operates the Fairgrounds. The PCFRA is a private non-profit corporation comprised of citizens of Polk County that have an interest in the Fairgrounds and the services it performs to the community.

Some fairgrounds are owned and operated and supported by local county government with tax dollars. Our fairgrounds in Polk County is not. It survives and grows solely through the volunteer efforts of many volunteers and the tremendous support of the community.

When you pay a parking fee or admission for an event at the 'grounds, you're helping make a mortgage payment, utility bill payment, or helping fund a building upgrade & maintainence.
