You must have all safety gear to run..
We also have intermission races for all the kids...They can run foot races and bicycle races.. done by age groups..Winners do receive cash prizes..We love our kid races..
We also rent billboards and signs for the season for your business advertisement..
April 11Th and 18Th are play day..Races start the 25Th..

is there a year restriction on the cars? or is it an open classification?

reason being I've got a 94 intrepid that I'd like to run and see how it does on the quarter or eighth mile.

It`s a quarter mile inside track..It doesn`t matter what year it is..You`ll be classed by motor size..So slap a roll cage in it and bring it on..We had one last year that raced that still had all the seats,tags and insurance on it..He even left the radio in...We have alot of fun...

The cars have to have roll cages? last time i dragged was in Hawaii and didnt need one unless you ran triple digits.

This isn`t drag racing..It`s a oval dirt track..I have the info on how to build a roll cage and size if you would like to have them...Just let me know... :rolleyes:

What's the admission cost to the track?

What kind of rules . Just engine? tire rule, chassis rules?Any pictures of track?

Thank ya, backlash. That makes sense then. I was reading that it was a 1/4 mile track and didnt even think about it being a dirt oval. I dont race anymore, sold my mustang several years back.

Last year the price to get in was $6.00 and children under 13yrs are alot cheaper..I really don`t remember the price..But the younger the kid the cheaper the price or free...The price to get into the pits and or race is $25.00 a person. Children under 13yrs old is $10.00 for the pits..It doesn`t cost any extra for your kids to race during intermission..If the prices change I will post it..

The engine size and chassis depends on what class you want to run in..And tires have to be Nascar Pull offs...I have several pictures of the track posted on myspace..I`ll post the link in my profile on here if you want to see it..

What is the fastest class? Im guessing street stock> What are the rules for it. I looked at your pictures and it looked like there were some late models,modifieds, is it a pretty open class for chassis. Some looked like alot wider tires and wheels than others also. Just tryin to figure it out.

:thumb: I opened a myspace account just for little river speedway..Under my pictures I scanned the rules for the cars class..Some with 2 and 3 pages are put in albums...Just double click on each one and you can read it pretty good..Also you can copy them so you`ll have them to refer to..The myspace account will be here under my profile...If you need any more rules just let me know...I`ll get to the roll cage tomorrow...

We attended the Little Rock planning meeting for car events and they announced that Little Rock has not only taken the National Hot Rod show from Sprinfield MO for next year, they are in the process of putting in a drag strip at the fair grounds-

That`s great...If they plan to let 4wheeler`s drag race let me know..I have alot of friends that drag race their 4wheelers..We mainly run oval tracks..But you never know..Thanks :bmp:
