Young mother who suffers from seizures and some mental issues due to brain injury from an auto accident several years ago needs home help & support in raising 11 year old daughter.
Ideally, someone who could live in home with 4 BR, 3baths, swimming pool and fenced yard inside Mena City limits. Nurses training/experience would be a plus
Duties would include being present anytime child is home. 3pm to 7:45am school days. Sat. till noon at which time child will be taken a few blocks to grandmothers for visitation and will be picked up at after church on Sun.
Hours would be increased and most likely split into shifts when school is out depending on the requirements of the employee.
Transportation to and from appointments, assistance with housework, cooking.
Most important qualification is the ability to support and re-enforce mother's discipline, help with homework and teach parenting skills through love and compassion.
If we are not able to get live in help, we will try shift work. I now have a qualified applicant for a 3pm to 7-9pm shift and would like to have at least one more to make sure that shift is covered every day. A 9pm to 8am shift would basically be sleeping over and being on call for emergency, then taking child to school at 7:45am.
As you can see, we are in planning process depending on the response we receive. Salary will be negotiable at the time of agreement of hours and duties.
Employee will report to guardian of both girls.
