Title: Bowling
Description: League Bowling is Starting Soon

sensei - February 25, 2009 06:25 PM (GMT)
The Mena USBC is starting our bowling leagues again.

Thanks to the new owners of the bowlig alley we can start bowling again.

The association is going to do an early extended summer league and the start our regular winter and summer leagues following this summer.

Our goal is to get every summer and winter league into this one time session. Even if you are an avid Winter bowler only we want you to make an exception and get back into bowling this summer. We will have a break between Summer and Winter to accomadate everyone, don't use your typical excuse for not bowling in the summer, this is a one time exception, it'll get you back into bowling and help establish an average for the upcoming winter season.

If you have any questions you can call the bowling alley and get the VP's phone number for more details.

Its a great way to get into bowling, get excerise and meet new friends. We have leagues to fit everyone. We have a senior league and a lady's only league and many mixed leagues so pick a favorite night to bowl and join us.

You'll have to call the bowling alley for that info and the leagues haven't established an amount yet but we will have more info available after our next board meeting. So I will be sure to let everyone know as soon as I do.

I don't know about league prices, but I was up there the other day and saw the prices for games. As I recall, day games are $2.75ea, $3.25ea at night. $2 shoe rentals and all-you-can-bowl friday and saturdays (I think, somebody correct me if I'm wrong) for around $10. They also have lots of good food and 4 pool tables!

The owners are very nice people. Everybody go check it out if you haven't been since the new management took over!

actually it was eight dollars for the all you can bowl. I must give praise to the food there and to the pool table quality. much better than before.

That's right. I guess you were paying better attention than I was. Beat me at pool too, ya jerk!
