Folks, we have had several inquiries about the future of the Opry and all I can really say is "Thank You", however the future of the Opry is still in question.
Since the Auditorium was destroyed we really have no place to hold the show.
We put a great deal of effort into making the Opry a part of Mena and the surrounding area, and it is very disappointing that there is no other suitable, affordable, location readily available.
We are exploring the possibility of having a Benefit Show in the not too distant future for the storm victims, and we will plan on having the Sing-Off later in the year, providing we can find a location that will seat the number of people expected.
We have certainly had many great Performers on our stage over the past two years (almost) or so, and some really outstanding shows, our Classic Rock Nights, the Gospel Sing-Off, and just so many that really provided, what we felt, was quality entertainment at an affordable price to the Community.
We had reached a point where the reputation of the Opry, as a quality Show, was spreading outside just the local area, as evidenced by the number of new acts from out of town we were starting to attract.
We are not calling it quits by any means, but we are very limited in our options.
If you have been one of our Patrons "Thank You", If you have thought about attending but never made it, don't give up on us yet.
On behalf of the Members of the Band and Staff
Thank You All Again

Hang in there. I'm sure that after everything has been cleaned up and things are closer to being "normal", you will find a place. :thumb:
